Where have you buried all the children?
If you guys want more poppy playtime stuff from me, I now have a blog for that called @yarnabythegoodboy, where I post my art, and my rants and I may post more Au’s and continue my Coraline Au there. Consider checking it out!
This is a bit different from what I usually post, but I recently watched a few playthroughs of Poppy Playtime including chapters 1-4. And it got me thinking.
My Au
Imagine player as a super realistic toy. And we were actually created by the prototype. Like think of that one opening scene in Coraline
Now, doesn't other mother (Beldam)’s hand look a bit like the Prototype? And we know from a tape between prototype and the doctor that the prototype could possible want something to be made. Perhaps a replacement for us? Or as its in the past, prohaps it is us.
Like, and we only find out in a tape what we are, where we see the whole intro scene from coraline type tape but with prototype and us.
Anyway let me know if you like this Au as I might expand on it a bit.

Poppy playtime chapter 4 post credit scene
I got permission to share some of the work I did for Poppy Playtime Chapter 4!! These are character studies I did of Doey and Yarnaby when we got the final character design approved.

I’m drawing Yarnaby! Except he looks weird without a tail. He looks like a doormat. Or a toilet brush cleaner.

The full drawing is of him loafing similar to how my rabbits do. His tail would curl up behind him or over one paw. It would be a orange thing where the tip has the rainbow yarn strands, like a poodle’s tail
EDIT: I finished this art piece before the results came in, but henceforth Yarnaby’s getting a tail!!

Children really liked to braid and style yarnabys hair (but it was hell combing it out)

Alternative ending for the game - instead of killing almost everyone, Angel is able to save all of them, bringing them outside. Authorities arrive soon after, and Angel drags all the toys to a nearby hospital in order to patch them up.
