Ok defence time,

Think about it and bear with me. Ashlyn has sensitive hearing, Ben has a damaged voice.

He talks to her in whispers so he doesn’t have to have his voice heard by anyone and Ashlyn doesn’t have to wear her earplugs just to have a conversation.

Ben plays her music on his guitar as she dances. They can be a small show for family members and friends.

He writes her songs and she makes him playlists.

Ben doesn’t invade her space (unlike some else 😒) and he braids her hair for her.

He was the closest to Ashlyn during the dream sequence, I mean she has made it a big point that no one can touch her hair or body but Ben was LITERALLY BRAIDING IT!! She felt safe with him so he was closer.

AND HE HAS NEVER TOUCHED HER UNLESS IT WAS AN EMERGENCY. Like she was in pain but he knew not to touch her be he respected her boundaries (UNLIKE LIKE A CERTAIN BLONDE)
