In honour of him winning 4cc, I'm so proud of him.

- In every country he competes in, he buys you a cuddly toy and a piece of jewellery that reminds him of you.

- His love languages are gift giving and physical touch.

- He is the most clingy person to ever exist. If you are around him he has to be touching you in some way.

thinking about wag!ilia with a fem!ferrari!f1driver. they probably met the us grand prix where ilia was invited by one of his sponsors. he's there to hand out the pole position award because duh, he's american.

driver!reader would see him and would immediately want to catch him like a pokemon. imagine the moment when he's handing out the poll position award to her and she's all hehe haha and giggling.

after years of fighting a nail and tooth in junior series as one of the pioneering women in modern day motorsports, she's shaped to be confident. her personality is similar to max. homegirl doesn't give a fuck what the media have to say about her and often clapback at misogynistic journalists. you get the gist.

so she's confident enough to ask him out specifically on the race day. after begging the ferrari mechanics to not fuck up strategy and winning the race. she's marching up to him with one cause, ask him out.

which i think would leave him lil stunned because he's more of a traditional guy. not the toxic traditional but yk the type to pay for the meals, not letting his gf buy flowers because he thinks it's his duty to buy them for her, making the first moves because he thinks he's a guy. the chivalrous traditional type of guy. but when she makes the first move, still covered in champagne, and sweat and in her ferrari suit he thinks it so fucking hot.

being in relationship with ilia would be like being in a relationship with your bestfriend. there's never a moment where these two are not laughing together or cracking jokes. there would be alot of teasings about him being american and her being european. she's def asking him if he knows what a kilometer is and explaining it to him without waiting for his reply.

i think tifosi would be quite protective of her. to them, she's what charles is to ferrari (except in this universe hamilton never came to ferrari. i can't remove my boy sorry 😔🤚🏻).

ilia would let her meet with his parents early on if he thinks she's the one. not only because he wants their approval but also because his parents are his coaches so he wants her to be comfortable and safe with his parents or father whenever she go to support him at comps.

his sister literally adores and idolize driver!reader sm. everytime ilia would bring his sister to gps or any testings she's asking if she can sit in the car. ilia would initially refuse, afraid that his sister would mess up with any buttons but driver!reader would let it happen. ilia pretends to annoyed but his heart just melts seeing his sister and gf get along.

his mother is showing her photos of baby ilia on ice. he's not even embarrassed of it, he has that cocky replies that he's was a prodigy since day one. his mom would have to remind him about how he tried to eat ice. driver!reader would def tease him like "oh you used to be so cute!" she's using all past tenses to piss him off. which doesn't last long because he's quick enough to find out a baby photo of her karting days and tease her about it.

i think his father would also definitely adore the two. it would remind him of him and his wife when they were young. sometimes he join her and gang up on ilia or talk off her ears about cars.

Parent Headcannons

Basically, how I believe some figure skaters would be as parents.

Ilia Malinin

- I feel like he wouldn't want his kids to skate because of the pressure he feels from the media, and there would be an even bigger expectation for them as their dad is the 'Quadgod'.

- He would be really caring and involved in his kids' lives, I feel like he has at least two kids, and he supports them in whatever sports or hobbies they do.

- He does teach them how to skateboard, though.

Mikhail Shaidorov

- Did someone say girl dad?

- Seriously, I feel like Misha has 3 girls, and they are his whole world.

- He does teach them how to skate but doesn't want them competing. All he wants is a quiet life in Almaty with his family, away from the media.

Alexandra Ignatova

- Sasha has stated in interviews how she's excited about having kids, and I believe she would be an excellent mum.

- Those kids will have a dog each and will know how to ice skate by the time they are 3.

Makar Ignatov

- He has said in an interview that he is ready for kids but would be scared if he had daughters because he won't be able to protect them when they are older.

- Very overprotective but not in a suffocating way.

- Wants them to skate but won't push them to compete if they don't want to.

Junhwan Cha

- Another girl dad. He has twin girls who are an exact copy of him.

- Takes them out on adventures to explore the local nature and helps them collect leaves and flowers.

Yuma Kagiyama

- Only has one kid and is so supportive of them.

- I feel like he would encourage them to learn to skate, and he would coach them if they wanted to compete. He would be absolutely terrified of them injuring themselves, though.

Amber Glenn

- She is the most caring and supportive parent ever.

- Anything that her kids want to do, hobbies and sports, she will be making sure that they are able to do the best they can.

Dennis Vasiljevs

- Has one girl and one boy.

- Teaches them at least two of the many languages he knows.

- Both of his kids have his hair, so if he grows it out, they all match by putting it in a ponytail.

"you better win it all or else i'll hold it over you for brining us here on valentines," ilia says making you chuckle. "i know you'll do well don't worry. you're the reigning olympic and world champion. heck this gonna be your second grand slam! you set so many records that one could only dream of," his one hands leaves to cup your cheek. "you're a champion, my champion," he added. "i love you," he pecked your forehead.

"i'm not going on a war," you chuckled. "shh let me get in my wag boyfriend feels," he joked. "i love you too," you leaned over the boards to peck his lips before skating away. doing your little warmp before standing in your position of your program.

you breezed through the program. nailing each spin, step sequence, spins, and jumps. every quad was landed with a positive high goe, including the quad axel your darling boyfriend taught you. infactnyour quad axel in the free skate at this asian winter games was the highest recorded quad axel.

illia stood next to your coach. the way you blend your artistry with your technical elements never fails to leave him marveling at your abilities. you threw yourself in his arms as you walked your way to the kiss and cry along with your coach. ilia rocked you in his arms, placing soft and delicate kisses on the crown of your head.

holding his hands in yours, you rested your head on his shoulder as you listened to your coach giving her reviews about your skate. ilia squeeze your hand, reassuring you about your performance. and lo and behold! he was right. triumphing the asian winter games with a margin, your coach and ilia congratulated you as the organizers prepared for medal ceremony.

"first place, yn ln," the announcer announced as you took your steps on the podium. you leaned down as the medal was placed around your neck. you smiled for the cameras as your country's flag sat proudly on your shoulders.

smiling for the cameras, your eyes caught a familiar phone camera in the sea of professional cameras. ilia, who was proudly taking photos of you. a crimson blush crept up on your neck.

ilia opened his arms for you, again, as you stepped off of the ice. "see i was right. you'd win it all." you rolled your eyes at his cocky tone. "you just lucked out on your bet malinin. you're american anyway," you smirked, looking up at him. "what's that supposed to mean moya lyubímaya (my beloved)?" he chuckled. "brining out the russian now are we? you have quite an identity crisis." you tip toed to peck his lips.

"you love either way," he challenged, knowing he was right. "whatever helpd you sleep at night babe," you roll your eyes at him as you leave for the interviews. even at the interviews ilia sticks around, just in the background, craving your touch like a starved man. locking your hands in his the moment you're done with one interview.

"don't you love you love?" one of the reporters teased you at the press conference. "love wins all," another yelled erupting laughters of adoration in the room as you blushed. ilia just looked at you from afar, giving you massive love eyes.

* I honestly feel like his favorite movie genres would be fantasy and animated movies people would say he was too old to watch (ninja turtles ect.)

* He learns a lot of languages and is wired ly good at them from the start. Like out of the fucking blue. You’ll come home and he’ll just be like “Bonjour mes chères créatures, avez-vous passé une bonne journée loin de moi?” Sometimes he would start talking about you in another language just for you to get annoyed that you don’t know what he’s saying.

* He flirts a lot but not in the cocky kind of way. He sometimes try but he can’t keep a straight face when he does. He dies of laughter when he tries.

* If he can’t have all the stuffed animals he gets in a competition with him home he will hold a funeral for them like they tragically died. After he often give them to people he meet. Mostly children.

* I feel like he loves cinnamon desserts. Cakes, cinnamon buns, cinnamon cookies ect.

* He always smells like cinnamon and that smell of ice.

* Loves to go on small dates or picnics. Once you took him to a cat cafe and you have never seen him smile more. You can’t have any sweet eye contact cause his eyes will be on the cats all the time. “Oh look at that one” and constantly just “aww”

* Likes braiding your hair. He’s not good at it but he likes doing it. Sometimes they actually turns out pretty good. He always take a picture of it if he likes how it turns out. The picture is just for himself.

* If he hears you say you like something he’ll go out and come home with like 30 packs of it and just say like “I just saw some at the store so thought I would buy a few”.
