I got tagged by @luneandbarbecue in another tag game :3 The prompt was to say some random trivia about you, roughly like 10 fun facts.

I've been to 3 conventions in my life, but only 2 of them were intentional. My introduction to anime conventions was a road trip where the hotel my family booked a room at, unbeknownst to us, was hosting one.

In high school, I carried around a whiteboard in my backpack and took pictures of it and made animations that way.

The only time I've ever broken a bone was by flapping my hands so hard that my finger hit the chair and fractured. I was writing a spy story from the POV of my cat when this happened.

I have a molar shaped mark in my left thumb from when I almost lost it to a horse as a toddler

Our local House of Representative's daughter preferred poisoning themselves over spending time at my place (I think?? Like they had allergies and knowingly ate a Valentine's candy containing their allergen after I told them not to)

Wish alumni, or the older sister anyway-- I'm not really involved atm, but the formative years of my childhood were spent volunteering for them (and drawing/playing on the Internet in hospitals and waiting rooms)

I've cosplayed one character to a convention and it was the green space dorito. I'm embarrassed to try wearing public costumes where I am identifiable after that XD

My first fanfiction ever was about Scooby Doo when I was 5.

I own a T-shirt of bleached Pythor from hit TV show Lego Ninjago drinking Starbucks.

THIS is a mega folder containing literally everything rwby-related that is available right now on roosterteeth (+v9). rwby, fairytales, world of remnant, the grimm campaign, ice queendom (sub and dub), vtubing, all the behind-the-scenes stuff. everything.

plus soundtracks for every volume + IQ, and drm-free epubs.

i will add any additional rwby content released during the wind down period as it becomes available. V1-8 have an english subtitle track embedded in the files, V9 does not because it came from CR. IQ dub has english subtitles. and for the sake of completeness i pulled all the non-english subs available on CR for V1-9 as well, those are in there as loose .ass files for the time being.

whenever possible, buy physical media. learn how to strip drm out of digital content that you own and make it a habit to do so.

Last book: it's all just fanfiction 😅 War Machines by AhsokaTheBrave is my favorite portrayal of Nuts and Dolts bar none and is drip feeding me some powerful mighty love. I cannot recommend it enough. By the way, any KH fans know of some good Xion-centric fics?

Last movie: The Wild Robot / Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (as per friend recommendation)

Last TV show: skip? I haven't watched anything since I sat down for Arcane pt 1 with Star

Spicy/Sweet/Savory: Uhhh honestly it's more about the texture and I probably prefer sour-bitter flavors like vinegar and lemon and spicy mustard and olives. but uh. milky-sweet's fine. bubble tea is really good. rose matcha, taro, oolong, i like those flavors best.

Current obsession: 👑 Kingdom 💛 Hearts, I've been playing Days and KH1 simultaneously

🦉 Guardians of Ga’Hoole… aside from the books being fantastic by their own merit, I have 100%ed the shovelware Wii game to the ends of the earth and back, and I still have the Soren Christmas ornament / Soren and Gylfie Beanie Babies from when I was a kid

Been yanking flexing the median nerve in my wrist as a stim lately and that’s on top of A) chronically using my fingers instead of the Apple Pencil to draw and B) doing it nonstop for 2+ months

So while I wait for my wrist to heal enough to draw new things (cause it’s been acting up when I do simple tasks lately) there’s a backlog of stuff I’ve been too executively dysfunctional to post, mostly art but also stuff like uhhhhh an introduction post?? 😭
