Today I decided to study for my driving license.

Turns out that it’s not different from studying for school and after 2 question I suddenly had a clean room, showered and even changed my bedsheets. What a surprise, right?

It’s so hard to believe that one day I’ll have a future.

I’ll be living on my own, in a house with a person that I’ll love, possibly with some kids, a stable job, a decent social life, a normal income, and tons of beautiful memories that I may remember for the rest of my life.

I’ve spent my entire childhood and teenage years almost certain that I would have killed myself before I turned 20. I was on here at the age of 13 reblogging the most depressing things and constantly talking about how I wanted to die.

Things have gotten better. I haven’t experience a lot of life, but now I still get to.

I’m 21 now and I’ll be graduating college in May. It might not come instantly, but the rest of my life is right ahead of me. This is real.

Life works in crazy ways, man.

I dont even need to add something because all important stuff has been said already.

Men are held to such low standards in relationships and it’s infuriating; just today I heard from my co-workers that ones husband never drove to come see her when they were doing long distance, and the other’s hasn’t mowed once in their 30+ years of marriage.

Like we like fun at lesbians moving fast in relationships, but that’s because women are socialized much differently than men, and those traits lead to healthier relationships. Though gender roles are fucking wack in general, you can’t deny that women are raise to be more understanding, expressive, and caring in general. My girlfriend drives 2 hours to come see me every weekend, and my friends boyfriend can barely make the 40 minute trip to come see her.

When women are in relationships with each other, they are more likely to talk about feelings, and go farther for their partners. Women do this in hetero relationships too, but it’s rarely reciprocated if they’re with a cis male.

I read an incredible essay about how gay marriage is incredibly beneficial to straight partners, because straight relationships always have a basis in inequality, due to societal gender divisions. Gay relationships show what it’s like to have a relationship without a gender based power imbalance.

Ladies, if you wouldn’t put up with it from a best friend, don’t let a boyfriend get away with it. Cultivate a society where men in relationships have to at least have basic decency; not only through your partners, but also through how you raise your sons.

I just had a lowkey fight with my mom.

She is like „you need to see the happy in life otherwise you wont notice it“

And I am like „this world is shit, it’s breaking but I have to live with it and I’d rather take a good moment than faking and lying myself into how beautiful it is, cuz it isnt but I still love it. After all its the only world and life I’ve got.“

She doesn’t understand this, she dont want to.

But I still have the feeling with the both of us, I understand this world better and feel way more comfortable. Cuz I just have accepted it and not trying to idolize it.

And she is such a hypocrite. But yeah anyways..
