I need q!phil to absolutely lose it. He can do this by being silly, he could be an actual threat, i don’t care. With the bird house, the dream and reality confusion he’s been a victim of and just every other trauma he’s watched others go through as well as himself, he feels a bit too kept together so far in my opinion, even if he is still going through it

but i will say, this valentines stream, he’s definitely been a lot more on the ‘silly losing it side’ (cc!phil was in a goofy mode not lore mode for a good part while lore/semi lore i guess was going on, so this could be very excusable) and i hope this is a sign of my awaited (more) batshit crazy bird boy

But Philza the "angel of death" Not seeing the death of Tubbo as that big of a deal. Maybe Tubbo is a robot and the damage that was dealt to him can be repaired, once the materials they need are found. Or maybe Phil is just used to bending the rules of death for those he cares about, that he was - before the island - able to just, undo death with little trouble.

But if the egg lives for Tubbo are serious I'd imagine that its not going to be that easy in the end.

Death Family canonically can speak to the dead and Phil is VERY used to doing ANYTHING to get the dead back to this world. So Phil then influences his kids to believe the same. Chayanne 100% will and can drag the dead back to this realm he just doesn’t know how. And as we know, Tallulah can hear the dead quite well.

Anyway i've calm down, taken a couple of deep breaths and I'm ready to tackle whatever the fuck it was we all just experienced the latter half of the stream.

Tubbo is confirmed dead, he is a robot of some kind, he made another robot called Creation, creation finds the Gurdian, the guardian is Philza, Philza and Creation meet it is initially hostile from Philza end, Everything is hashed out, Creation says he must rebuild tubbo for Sunny, they go to see Tubbos body, Create says that Tubbos is missing data.

Create must find the one that killed Tubbo to get that missing Data. The data is purpose (I think, I remember them saying a couple of name but for now we are calling it purpose.) it between all of that, create says the data must be in the possession of the person who killed Tubbo. That is Richas.

We go back to spawn we meet up with people, inbetween all of that, Creation scans Richas and says he believe Richas has the missing data/know as purpose.

This is the part that is really up in the air. I don't believe creation would have any reason to lie and say Richas has something he doesn't. But because no one check it pretty much has become schroders cat.

Now it could be Richas has another items of important. He may not even have this thing/data known as purpose. Because Tubbos has been in limbo the entire time we have had this reset.

Tubbos love life is in shambles, he feels out of place in the morning crew, he doesn't have create. He was in a bad place and there is a real world where purpose is not a physical item but something that Tubbos must attain himself. It is not something he can just be given or collected in data.

The second part that crazy is the only way to bring him back is for someone to unlock create and build a super computer. The problem everyone is super broke expect for Bad. An the person who was asked and given a special name was Philza, Philza is broke monetary in the new system. He can't do anything.

This is not even touching on how soul crushing it is for sunny to be left alone. Tubbo and Sunny had a big fight and now sunny alone with no one and it's heart breaking. It ironic because the one that can relate to her the most is Tallulah.

Tallulah has gone through it beat for beat. An it sad that they couldn't have talked more and Sunny anger is valid. Her hate for Richas for taking her dad away will need to be worked through but for now she is left alone go back to her house to be with Leo.

It is on top of that I'm also bring up with the seriousness of the situation. Philza went directly to the spawn point to try and break laws to get a bunny to show up. It is heart breaking to see him breaking shit and screaming out into empty air for someone to show up.

Tubbo has named Philza correctly, he is a Guardian.

Honestly though like if you're following Philza you should get used to the fact that since the dawn of him streaming RP people have violently disliked his reaction to any angst beats because like, the cc finds angst rp funny and is also a very giggly guy. And if you're here for drama and tragedy it looks like he's not taking the pain seriously, which is obviously going to be something you don't like seeing. Trust me. We have been here before. I have watched DSMP. There were people saying he didn't take Techno's IRL death seriously enough because he was positive on stream. Like, this is top five things people get mad at cc!phil and his characters for, after "breaks the fourth wall" and "is an imperfect person/parent" and "idk his vibes just grate and I read them as Bad y'know".

I personally think that like the fact that he was repeatedly saying to the eggs that they were gonna get Tubbo back, they'll bring him back with the create wrench cause he cares about create, don't worry it'll all be okay; that was all evidence that the character does care about Tubbo and for heaven's sake, if you want angst, read that as denial and you're fully comfortably in one of the recognized stages of grieving. I was making jokes the day people in my life died, this is also one of the ways people deal with loss. But I also see why that's a POV clash if you wanted a more straightforward depiction of grief and angst? Phil was pretty far from being in tears, which is what some people think was warranted. So like, sure, if you've been watching a specific perspective, Phil's reaction was trivializing. I can see that perspective as well.

It is not fun to see someone calling your POV "vile" and "heartless" and "too selfish to consider other people" and the other delightful stuff that I just saw on a scroll through the tag, but like, that's just POV clash, you gotta let people have their own opinions and block the neg tags and maybe block people who are being really loud. Sincerely, it does nobody any good to go beefing about people being mean about your favourite cubito. Post careful lore exploration on your own blog if you want but doing replies, sending anons, all of that is the way down which A Bad Time lies. Sincerely like, this has happened before, this will happen again, just go listen to good music or something and ignore it.

ON GOOOODDDD getting dsmp flashbacks on twitter. a large portion of tubbos fanbase are grinding my gears for real. philza is the least serious man ever and is NEVER in character 100% of the time, like he goes out of his way to state when things are lore so people know its canon to him because thats how little hes in character. also he didnt know tubbos death was supposed to be canon. its dsmp all over again i cannntttt. i never post about qsmp myself but its just too annoying like GET A GRIP YALL!!!!

also, i wanna mention something else that happens on twitter a lot. i feel like people will put 'q!creator' to talk about a character as an excuse to just hate on creators for no reason, and excuse it as """just talking about the characters""" . like idk thats just my thought tho.

anyway.......if your a tubbo fan please dont get too upset and start saying awful things, cause ive seen enough of it on twitter. i primarily watch philza and hes almost never lore mode constantly, and he also likes to joke around with tubbo (and tubbo to him), tubbos lore wasnt really known to be serious with a lot of crows and creators, and you should take a chill pill please and thank you. rant over. have a good day.

Okay so I've been seeing a lot of people pissed that Phil didn't take Tubbo's death seriously and how we was handling Creation and like

Can you really blame him??

For starters, Tubbo is like one of THE most unserious people on the server. The guy will interrupt the most serious lore moments with countless jokes like his life depends on it and everyone knows this about him. And they usually laugh WITH him

So when he says stuff like "Oh yeah I've only got one life btw" in THE most joking tone ever, can you really blame people for thinking it's a joke??

(And yes I know that he does have serious lore reasons for making jokes like this, that HE knows aren't really jokes. But if they're presented as jokes, then yeah, people will read them as jokes)

Hell, even Chayanne said just now that he thought it was a joke too and he was the MAIN ONE playing along with it this whole time

I don't imagine acting depressed to a bunch of kids is gonna do much to cheer them up anyway, so yeah the jokes may not have been well-timed, but I really doubt he was making them with any bad intent. Maybe he was just trying to cheer them up in his own way idk. Either way, he was definitely taking it very seriously when he found out it wasn't a joke, trying REALLY hard to figure out what to do to help bring back Tubbo

(As for the adoption thing, I think he was mostly talking about how Chayanne is acting like he's adopted her?? Even Creation told Chayanne to take care of Sunny so)

But people are taking this way too seriously, especially considering it's about THE most unserious guy on the server

Also the fact that Tubbo was in Phil's chat a lot today, laughing and commenting, which means he probably thought this shit was HILARIOUS. He was even making jokes at the end, saying "Ah shit sorry I fucked up your eggs KEKW" He's still making jokes!! So please start taking his jokes as jokes, at least a little bit. I can understand being annoyed, but people are way too serious about it

(AND ALSO OF COURSE PHIL WAS ACTING DEFENSIVE AGAINST CREATION AT FIRST. EVERY TIME SOMEONE WEIRD SHOWS UP TO HIM, THEY'RE ALMOST ALWAYS A THREAT. DON'T FORGET THAT THE LAST TIME SOMEONE SHOWED UP TO HIM, IT WAS THE EYE GUYS LOOKING FOR LUFFY. AND WE KNOW HOW THAT WENT. Just please calm down, everyone. We've got enough negativity going on in the community right now. It's okay to be frustrated, but outright insulting the creators is not the way to express it, and I doubt it's what the other creators would want either. The fact that Tubbo is choosing to have Phil be directly involved in his lore means that he WANTS Phil involved. So please respect that, at least

also like phils lore is kind of solo lore. he relatively stays to himself (+eggs) while turbo's rp is heavily invested into morning crew, fitpac is heavily invested into morning crew, bagi and Mike both hang out a lot with them. Phil does hang out with morning crew ofc but the group dynamic isn't really a part of his thing, you know? so I can see why people don't really put him into their morning crew fics other than there sometimes because he is only there sometimes + he usually gets on a little later than everyone else if he does hardcore so he misses the initial log-in check in. like if you believe he's part of the group that's fine but imo he doesn't seem very heavily invested in it, just friends with most people in it yk? and that's fine!! he's just not a core part of it for most people's interpretations

Morning Crew is a very particular dynamic that formed from 3 people who hung out just with each other almost everyday because of how early they logged in. While at the beginning it was kinda undefinable, oh is it just Morning people? Is it a friend group? Is it just the name of a trio or a general title? As Fit, Tubbo, and Pac’s lore started combining, it became a very particular them thing, they help each other because they’re close. Tubbo’s lore specifically involves directly how Morning Crew is a group of 3, and does not involve Phil in the slightest it’s just not a consideration to him. Pac and Fit, while in very different ways, do engage a lot with how the dynamic of Morning Crew affects them emotionally, Fit relies on them for company, while Pac becomes stressed out without them.

Phil’s lore on the other-hand is very isolated, it has nothing to do with his dynamics with Morning Crew, they exist outside of him. There is no issue with people making solo lore, but all of his lore being so solo is a statement in itself about how he’s not part of that group. As you said even if we go with the requirements of logging on earlier, Phil is either entirely within the afternoon group, or as most times at the end of Morning Crew time. He is also not as grouped up as them like the newest inclusion Bagi is, when Phil hangs out with them it’s individual, he’s close with Fit and Tubbo but not them together. Plus not being close at all to Pac and Bagi, but as noted involving Mike that’s not fully limiting since he is not close with Tubbo. Bagi hangs out with Morning Crew as a unit, unless we are heading towards afternoon time she’s normally with all three of them, or at least a majority of the group.

It’s just that Phil doesn’t really fit the requirements people generally use to determine Morning Crew and as anon said he doesn’t want to. Phil exists within his own story, and his friendships are singular he has no intention of being part of the Morning Crew family. The other ccs also just don’t consider him a member even though unlike Bagi and Mike he was hanging out with them fairly constantly when they formed, he just makes no attempt to be part of the group and the group makes no attempts to have him join.

It sadly comes off to many that the inclusion of Phil in Morning Crew by fans is due to his popularity and want for their cubitos to be part of a group. It’s fine to include him, but just don’t get mad when others don’t.

Phil’s just their friend, close to some but he doesn’t need the title and he’s perfectly happy with that.

Phil is one of the most popular English speaking CC’s on the QSMP, I see a fuck ton of art and fanfics centered around him, his kids, and the Rose stuff in his tag everyday. I don’t go on Twitter much (it scares me), but how is he being treated like a side character? Is it just stuff I’m not seeing because I’m not on Twitter?

hi nonnie, first of, phil is not really the most popular of the english creators. he might seem so, because he's consistent and follows a tight schedule, so ALL the crows show up at the same time, and we are all loud

however, let me explain what i mean: im not saying people completely ignore phil (tho, im gonna be honest, i have seen many completely erasing him from narratives he was a part of -see, happy pills, for example)

what im saying is that anyone who isnt a crow tends to relegate phil as an accessory to other characters or simply as a plot device or "set dressing", in a way. Phil is tagged as a character in 2300 fanfics in AO3, however, trying to find fics that are tagged, for example "Phil Watson-centric" in the QSMP tag, you get 95 fics. fics tagged "& Chayanne"? 260 fics. "& Tallulah"? 190. hell, even his ship with missa has only 280. out of over 2000 fics with him in it. the highest relationship at all related to his character tag is wilbur & tallulah, at 370 fics. like. as someone who enjoys scrolling thorugh ao3 i ASSURE YOU 3/4 of all the fics with phil in the tags, he's barely even there or relevant at all. it's terrible.

and with the fanart, yeah, you see a lot of art of phil.... because phil is notorious for fostering a community that LOVES fanart and drawings of his characters. he highlights them, enjoys showing it off, and that has made it so his watchers are very into drawing art. i 100% am happy with the fanart of him, but going onto ao3 and trying to find a story with him i nwhich he's anything else than a non-descript parental figure that may drop dome sage advice or who works as a plot device to advance the narrative is almost impossible

and this is something that, as far as i can tell, has followed him all the way from back in the dsmp era

(Personal take: this is coming from like 2019 to now-)

As a Phil main, yeah the fandom neglecting Phil isn’t that new.

The Dsmp days really showed it. Even mistreating Phil’s character as abusive- and neglectful. I’ve seen Tommy Stan’s who say Phil neglected Tommy. Tommy isn’t Phil’s kid.

Kinda feel bad that the Fanart I’ve seen of this man being shipped with minors- I’m not even exaggerating, it’s disgusting even after his boundaries were addressed-

I’ve seen Techno in the Dsmp days get more Fanart and works than Phil mostly- like, Phil was a good character, I think people struggled with his morals.

Now in QSMP the fandom neglected him again, he has such good lore and people don’t really see that. In my opinion, I think that personally the fans need to chill when it comes to Phil (Tubbo fans I’m looking at you.)

The fact I’ve seen so much Cc!Phil hate as well, even during the Dsmp days- like, let him do his own shit.

Also the stuff Twitter tried digging up from like 8 years ago and get trending, Phil has apologized for that and has improved since then. He improved more than 🟩. So kindly quiet down.

1. Phil always talks like that about Tubbo. That's his way to show he cares for him.

2. Sunny already doesn't really like Phil so him saying that doesn't change much in her opinion of him lol

3. Phil doesn't know that Sunny feels that way. And it'll stay like that until Sunny or Tubbo (or anyone at this point) talks to Phil

4. Phil doesn't realize that Sunny doesn't like him because he believes Sunny is an ✨️Independant queen✨️ and has better things to do than talk to him lol

When watching back through some older qsmp vods, I noticed a small thing I found funny.

No because what Philza doesn't realize is his ideals of isolation are conflicting with the heavy nature of relying on other the island promotes. He cares about other eggs but when push comes to shove he only cares about his family.

QSMP Rambling (Tallulah and Chayenne)

(Main context: QSMP is a multilingual minecraft multiplayer server with streamers playing and I specifically follow Philza but watch clips and read happenings from other streamers)

Good god help me I was going to just enjoy philza's qsmp portion of the stream but then apparently lore stuff happened and now the eggs are clashing. (I rambled way too much, so I'm putting it below oops)

Though the lore stuff is not something I dislike, my mind immediately honed in more on how the two eggs I watched QSMP for mostly ended up. Tbh, I started watching QSMP because I saw clips and animatics connecting Chayenne to Techno and then I think I started officially watching Wilbur's streams when Tallulah happened. Not immediately, but it was either the 2nd or 3rd stream with her.

Chayenne was one of the outgoing eggs, picking fights and jumping off of the wall his dads made a home on. Tallulah was the youngest at the time, I think, and was mostly sweet, gentle, loved flowers and music. Chayenne was one of the first eggs and iirc only 4 of the og batch remain. Wilbur left after making sure Philza could care for Tallulah, and Chayenne ended up needing to do the same considering he was the older kid that had more experience.

And then things got worse for the eggs. The code monsters, the kidnapping as people or groups organized shit, and then the eggs left thinking they would be protecting their parents after being threatened.

Chayenne ends up as one of, if not the main, leader of the eggs. Tallulah was known by most as "not a fighter". Needed to protect and needed to be protected respectively. Their dynamic was almost always like this. Chayenne was cared for by his dads of course, but Missa has irl stuff to do and Philza needed to give Tallulah more attention since she needed help. Tallulah has been missing her father for months now- even if the server cared for her, she wasn't their special person. She felt like someone that needed pity and was given it- not like as if they would've cared otherwise...

I'm going all over the place but despite it somewhat feeling sudden how they acted in the recent stream, I feel like I can understand mostly what was going on with them switching in choices. Tallulah used to want love and peace- she's tired of being "useless" and a "burden" for not being able to fight. Chayenne used to be one of the reckless eggs- he's exhausted from being given most of the responsibility whenever they're in danger.

He's tired from all of the action. She's tired from all the inaction.

Chayenne wants to fucking rest for once in his life, meanwhile Tallulah wants to actually help fighting for once in her life.

They got separated before/during Purgatory.

Tallulah had to survive with Dapper and Ramon who seemed to be closer friends with each other and Tallulah maybe envied their bond. But they're still siblings and so she cares deeply about Dapper being kept hostage right now. She frustrated over bonds people get to have because she can't connect with them when she doesn't even have a real pillar to stand on. Missed her dad so much that even with the family he left her with, she doesn't feel like she belongs. She just wants her dad back with her but she's changed. She's scared. She wants to be useful and actually do something so that people don't see her as a weakling anymore.

Chayenne was perceived as one of the stronger eggs. He had to keep calm and focus on keeping everyone safe. He was stuck for however long without even knowing if Tallulah was still alive. He was cared for by Phil and Missa and then Missa needed to leave while Phil had to figure out how to take care of Tallulah with Chayenne. He wouldn't necessarily blame his dads, but a kid wants attention. A kid would love to feel special care from their parents more. But no, Chayenne needed to push aside his wants because others need more care and protection. Maybe not intentionally forced by others into the leader role, but he got into the role and people listened, so people started perceiving him as the one in charge if things happened to the eggs. But it's not like he's immune from all the bullshit they've been going through just because he's not acting out like some others. He's been carrying a heavy weight on his shoulders by staying in the protector role. He loves his siblings and wants them safe, but he's tired and wants to be cared for back instead of simply being looked up to as a leader. He doesn't want pure idolization or criticisms in doing his "job"- he just. He needs a break.

Philza, god bless him, the man's gotta deal with all this bullshit happening on the island while still caring for his eggs. The kids say he's a wonderful dad while Phil says he's been shit at it if he didn't notice them feeling this way or not caring sooner. He does care, but Rose told him he needed to recover his lost courage for a reason. He's understandably terrified of everything that could kill the eggs, that could kill or take him away from being able to be with his kids again, but he needs to regain the confidence he once had in himself to be able to face things stronger too. But that's... It feels bad saying things like that.

Like father like son, I guess. They both just want to rest. But Tallulah's tired of being given rest. That's what most people seem to tell her to do while everyone else goes off to do all the important shit. She can't do the important things because she "can't" fight. She's changed. Chayenne's change. God, Philza's changed from what the Ender King and Rose saw of him before QSMP.

I don't know a solution for this, I don't think a solution could be easily made when there are factors outside of this family's control affecting them. I know they talked it out by the end, but I'm still worried yet intrigued by how things might continue on. The dynamic between the two eggs just tickles my brain in the fun way. I don't think I tend to focus so hard on things that aren't my own OCs- usually I take what happens in a thing and use it as inspiration for my own stuff. But these two are just... I want them to be okay in the end. I want to see Tallulah being allowed to be the strong badass she wants to prove herself to be while still accepting that people care for her in a way that they'd be willing to risk a lot for her too. I want to see Chayenne being allowed to relax, to take the backseat and have fun while not needing to worry about shit messing up their entire lives. I want to see Philza being able to take the kids on adventures and just being able to have a good time with them without the terror of everything threatening their damn lives.

I want for them to be okay and they're trying. Damn it, they're trying as much as they can to be okay for everyone else too.

I think it's interesting how Philza's lore seems to be portraying his fatal flaw to be hubris or greed, meanwhile the actual sword I see above his head is his complete undying loyalty in the people he cares about.

There's also Luffy. Phil had only met Luffy twice as far as I'm aware, only knew Luffy a matter of hours. But in that time decided he cared about Luffy enough to fight not one, but two very dangerous groups. Because he saw that Luffy was in danger and needed to be protected, he was willing to put himself in danger.

Like his conclusion that Forever is possessed, yes we know that it's accurate. But the fact that Phil came to that conclusion so quickly and stuck to it? Without even seeing Forever? Shows how much he trusts Forever, he literally couldn't fathom Forever hurting Tallulah on his own. He needed another explanation. And Phil has already shown that he won't give up on helping Forever, he's not willing to. He snapped at Tubbo for even suggesting it, and the only other time Phil got that pissed is when Wilbur accused him of not caring the eggs were missing.

Hell, the thing that practically kick-started Philza's lore? That started his downward spiral? The birdhouse incident? Happened because Phil saw a chance at helping his kids. He followed all the directions in a mysterious book, went to a secondary location with little to no resources without telling anyone, something he would normally never do, just to see his kids again.

If Philza's downfall is going to be caused by anything, it won't be by greed or hubris, it'll be his unflinching loyalty to the people he cares about.
