Above is a link to a resource list we have created with different websites, apps, YouTube channels/videos, and books on American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf culture. There is a perceived barrier of a lack of resources for people who want to learn ASL but don’t know where to start, so we have created this tool to help start beginning signers, and those curious about the Deaf community, with confidence on their journey to greater communication and allyship with the Deaf community.

Hello, friends of the internet! My name is Rose, and I’m a sophomore American Sign Language Interpreting student. I, along with my project partner Bre @quintin-thefinn , have been working on a Social Justice Action Plan for our ASL 2010: Deaf Culture class, and now it is time to put our plan into action!

Can a centaur bend down at the waist to pick something up the same way a horse can lower its head? Or do they have to do an awkward stance to reach whatever they dropped?

Oh absolutely! I mean, I think it would depend on the flexibility of the centaur, much like touching your toes - if you haven't trained and stretched for a bit of flexibility they would likely have to bend a knee to get down there.
