A little back posting because I definitely only found this event today \(^.^)/
To the world it was supposed to be a beautiful, cloudy Tuesday morning. To Eddie and Christopher, it was something completely different. The atmosphere felt heavy, and like gravity was pushing down on their lungs. Christopher had lost something, and it was so tangible that Eddie felt the melancholy of the moment.
They had both lost something, and Eddie, for the life of him, couldn't remember anything that he used to find comfort in. The way that Buck’s smile would crinkle in the corners of his eyes, and how light his laugh sounded. Most of the time it could be mistaken for a chorus flying on the wings of the Southeastern wind.
No matter how many people told him it was the wrong choice, he hadn’t left El Paso. He never went back to Los Angeles to rejoin the 118 firehouse. Now, it was too late, and everyone moved on. Everyone. Including.
Baby blue eyes that could smash any wall that Eddie had ever dreamed to build around his heart. But ten years later.
Ten years later, he was starting to lose touch.
Those crows feet around Buck’s eyes were softening out into a bleary view. His voice starting to fade into ether where Eddie knew he couldn’t follow. Some days Eddie had to pinch himself to remember that his name was Evan Buckley, not just the frat boy nickname he picked to be called. And Christopher. He knew that something was wrong.
They had moved during such a turbulent time that Eddie knew that Chris felt the empty space that’s only coincidentally Buck-shaped. A good parent, would make sure Buck doesn’t stay forgotten in his son’s mind—or a figment of his imagination. A heartbroken man, however, will continue to live in the fantasy his son created where they never lost their other half.
It was too late to call. Or, to try and re-forge the bonds he already threw away.Â
He put his phone down, and tried to close his eyes. It’s better to just sleep away the pain before he could drown in it.
It may just be because I’ve read too many Buddie fanfics but I love sweet, soft, casual but loving intimacy between buck and Eddie.
Things like hugging, bumping shoulders, hand holding (hand squeezing), forehead touching, forehead kissing, hand kissing, etc.
Just that casual soft intimacy between two people.
If so, I take it all back. The queerbaiting was better.

- buck?? he’s so dopey but cute. his birthmark is so adorable and his personality is charming. it’s interesting that they made him a sex addict, im sensing possible trauma? we shall see on that.
- bobby is my favourite character at the moment. the backstory with his wife and children broke my heart and i wanna put him in a jar and keep him safe forever!! also his relationship with buck is cute i love their father/son bond. he’s literally doing his best and i believe in him, i have faith.
- hen is an icon and im loving her so far, stubborn and smart. we love a powerful woman! i do not trust her ex, idc if she’s changed im not buying it. she looks hella suspicious to me and im not trusting this chick at all.
- chimney my sweet boy. the car crash was definitely unexpected also the fucking metal pipe lodging into his brain??? yikes. also idk why he’s lying to this girl to be loved, he’s handsome he could pull a much better woman who would actually give him the love he deserves, anyways im praying he returns soon cause i miss his face.
- abbey i am indifferent about. i can see she’s going through a lot but thirsting over a man half your age isn’t the best way to go about things. im happy she told buck to go home after they found her mum though but still, find a new man and stop calling him at work, it’s unprofessional! that includes your naughty freaky phone call >:((
- man my girl athena is fucking going through it. gay husband, her daughter tried to od and then she got in trouble at work for making the little bitch pay for hurting her child? excuse me, fuck off and leave this baddie alone. she’s just doing her job and protecting people. i am demanding some peace for athena please :((
- THE PLANE EPISODE??? what the actual fuck was that?? the phone call mark? left for his wife made my heart hurt. also the scene when bobby was helping the mother ruined me, i was on the edge of my seat pleading he would save her and not live with that guilt, and ofc that he wouldn’t die because they had me worried for a second.
my predictions for episode 1x06 - 1x10
- abbeys mother will die. don’t ask why but she’s declining so much already and i just sense it.
- abbey and buck are going to do the nasty and im going to bleach my eyes out.
- bobby is gonna either go to rehab for his drinking or he will tell his team so they can be more help to him when he needs it.
- athenas husband will move the fuck out and go be with his new man which fun fact, is an actor who was also in empire!
- chimney will wake up and return (im manifesting this because i miss him already!)
anyways, bobby is currently my #1 and i adore him so very much. athena is right behind him and than id say buck is my third spot!
right so my friend just finished the 9-1-1 episode and she insisted that no one is actually dead because 'it's easter weekend' and that 'he's coming back', i then kindly pointed out how the actor wrote a goodbye letter and she argued that Jesus hosted the last supper ðŸ˜

eddie is so unbelievably real sometimes
eddie in el paso right now: so the bill is taking forever and the game starts in like 45 minutes and buck knows nothing so he keeps getting distracted asking all these questions - we're running out of time. i slam down some cash and we run outside and boom: boot. he's totally clueless. like what the hell man, LA parking is four dollars to even consider parking somewhere, you thought you could park on the corner of a 4 way lane? haha yeah he's crazy. but we were already crunched for time, and he's starting to call his captain for advice, so i just changed the tire and left the boot there! haha. what if they had his info? what does it matter, they wouldn't say anything. he has a medal of valor
9-1-1 like most queerbaits make me feel like im insane, because its so obvious but if i mention it to people who don’t watch the show they have no idea.
Like how can these people possibly the couch theory or that Buck and Eddie are actually coparenting Chris.
But like I swear this time it will make history, this time they are going canon… both of them. (Destiel flashbacks)

also let's be serious right now okay. the choice to have tommy call buck "evan" was so inspired, because as this journey begins for him, the healing has to start from the very core. and before buck was ever buck, he was evan. evan was the core of all his insecurities and his hurt. what buck is hurting from is what evan has been hurting from this whole time
and now, he's free and he can start healing. and evan has to heal first. evan gets to learn and figure things out with tommy as his guide and that's beautiful. tommy is there to guide evan so that buck can face the world. so that buck can get what the core of what he really wants, and who he's been looking for this whole time. tommy will allow evan to be seen and heal in this new light, but we know who's been seeing buck this whole time

Me and my friends waiting every episode for the stupid wee woo show to make the firefighter husbands canon.
I was just imagining this absolutely ridiculous scenario but:
thinking of buck and Eddie time travelling back to the first day they met, like maybe a few seconds right as they lock eyes when Bobby is introducing them. so enough time to comprehend what's going on but like,,, they can't do anything about it
and Buck cuts Bobby off and goes "Eddie!!!" and Eddie's like "Buck???" and they kind of just run towards each other and crash into a hug, just squeezing like crazy and laughing.
And Buck's like holding Eddie's face in his hands and turning his head every which way like "Omg you look so young and cute" and Eddie's just laughing like "you're one to talk, you literally look like a baby" while tangling his fingers in buck's hair because it's no longer as curly as it was later because of how buck styled it and he never got to touch it before at this point
and there's a cough behind them and they let go of each other, but they're still kind of wrapped around each other and the entire crew is just staring at them like "what the fuck"
and buck is a fucking troll and gives this shit eating grin and goes "let me introduce you to Eddie Diaz, my absolute best friend and the father of the child of my heart" and he's not joking but he jsut wanted to see people's faces
before his eyes kinda go wide and he turns back to Eddie like, "wait, do you think chris remembers me?" since apparently they've gone back in time???? no one else in the room seems like they did, so did anyone else??? what if chris looks at him like a stranger after he's been co-parenting him for years?
Eddie just shrugs, unbothered, and goes, "I have no clue but even if he doesn't, I'm sure he'll love you just as much as the first time you met. you're his buck" and buck visibly takes psychic damage and nearly crumbles because he loves his little family
anyways, throughout this entire thing, everyone is just not sure what to think, because? apparently buck knows this new guy, and they've never heard of him before? and they're all over each other and they seem to have been raising a kid together at some point? what's even going on?
every time Buck or Eddie opens their mouth for the rest of the shift, it's just more lore drop. people are tryna put pieces together on how they met or what their relationship is. they deny that they ever dated when asked but Eddie, from where he's laying on buck's lap goes, "but we do get that a lot, don't we?" and buck's nodding like there's nothing strange going on
shift ends with buck automatically following Eddie to his car and when someone calls out to ask where he's going, he shouts back "we're gonna go pick up our kid!!" and then they get in the car and drive away, leaving Buck's jeep in the parking lot
