Hello! :D

I don’t know if this is a thing people do on this website because I’m new and still have no idea how Tumblr works but here we go-

Hi! My name is Luella and I’m a (kind of?) self-taught traditional and digital artist! One of my friends has been pestering me for a long time to start my own art blog on Tumblr so I finally decided to go for it! So I dug up this sketch in my journal and finished it digitally in order to introduce myself!

So this is a drawing of my persona Swan! I draw a lot so you’ll probably see a ton of stuff with her in it lmao. She uses she/her pronouns and is an unnamed species that I’ve been working on!

There are two versions of the drawing. In one, Swan is holding the aroace flag and agender flag because that is my gender and sexuality! I also identify with librafeminine, oriented aroace and omnisexual which is the second version. I just find it easier to use agender and aroace because they’re more commonly known :)

So that’s my little introduction! I can’t wait to show more of my art with everyone! 💛

Recently made some stuff for my fursona that I actually liked, and I haven't posted them before, so introducing Crypt (he/they/it)

He is a species of toothed bipedal bird that evolved from some dinosaurs that survived by being separated from the rest of the dinosaurs on an alternate world that happens to overlap with Earth. I don't really wanna get into it too much rn. That species also happens to look kinda like a moth

it is asexual, agender, and eats mostly blood

As an American who is an agender demigirl, I deeply apologize for all the dystopian things my country is doing in regard to lbgtq people. American politics make me lose braincells every time I hear about it.

The LBGTQ community is welcome on my blog. This is a safe space.

I feel like there’s a pretty common misconception that agender (and by extension, nonbinary) people only use they/them pronouns. So here’s a reminder that our identities are just as valid regardless of what combination of pronouns we use ‼️

Gender is so strange, like no I’m not a girl/woman, no I'm not a boy/man, I actually don’t have a gender at all, however, I do feel a connection to both masculinity and femininity (though I feel slightly more connected to masculinity than to femininity)

Nonbinary dysphoria is wack bc sometimes I look in the mirror and I’m like oh no I look too masculine and too feminine at the same time.

the reason why you can't define gay as "man loving man", or define lesbian as "woman loving woman", or define trans as "person who has dysphoria and identifies as the 'opposite' gender " is because all queer identities defy being defined in a reductive, singular statement. the entire point of these identities are that they cannot fit inside the rigid boxes of what gender, sexuality & expression "should" be according to our societies.

people with these identities will always break the rules. we will always blur the lines and exist outside of the boundaries you set around us. you can't try to force us into boxes and hard definitions all over again, we intrinsically defy them no matter what.

Sometimes I forget I drew a whole bunch of pride flags with stars. I have made 24 and want to do this again. I have two that I already have files for but haven't started but I definitely want to do more like doing the new polyamorous flag and shit. I will probably post individual photos of each at one point.

I'd like to tell you all something today:

Your gender identity is valid, no matter what labels you use. You deserve to feel comfortable in your own skin. You deserved to be loved. Your more than whatever labels you use or whatever pronouns you're comfortable with it.

I'd also like to take a moment to remember and honor those we've lost as a community. Those murdered for their identities and their activism. Those who committed suicide due to a lack of acceptance. Those of our past who experienced the sad yet universal injustice of being trans. Rest in peace and power.

Can you make some blinkies for nonbinary people and include them on your tdov celebrations too? We are still as trans as transmasc/transfem x
