I love how instead of asking if they’re okay, whenever the boys see someone show signs of ptsd they just tell them to go get a hot meal. Like emotionally unavailability truly won us the war.

He was born to be a medic. You could always depend on him. You hollered, "Medic!" he was right there come hell or high water, he knew what he was doing. He was compassionate, took care of you mentally, physically, every way.
