What if Jason never returned to Gotham but instead stole his little brother away from the LoA.

The JL is looking for more members and two new candidates seem to be The Red Hood and Shrike. The duo have been travelling around America, fighting crime and saving people, but not in Gotham. Batman is the only one who opposes this because no matter what, he can’t work out who they are.

The two heroes are trying to make better lives but there is only so much you can do when both your parents are partially insane, one doesn't know you are still alive/exist, and one will tear the globe apart to find her sons.

Kid flash: .. Tim ran into his younger self

Tim *walking past them and muttering under his breath*

Tim *mimicking*: Look at me! I’m so young and dumb! Such an annoying kid my god no wonder our parents were always trying to get away

Dick:

Tim *mimicking*: I’m so happy I’m smiling!

Kid flash: He-

Tim: Just suffer like the rest of us you coward

Tim *mimicking*: That’s not fair!

Tim: oh! Look at that! LIFE’S not fair dumbass

Dick:

Tim: Waah I’ve been hurt! I want love! Please don’t leave me!

Tim: Fool. Shut up and carry on with that pain in silence like the rest of us. Pathetic I was never like that . People are overrated and crying is underrated.

Tim *mimicking*: Oh! Batman’s awesome! And so is Robin!

Tim: Batman’s a goddamn idiot. Robin.. well okay true for the first one. But the second? The second one is a BITC-

I know there are a lot of fanfics about Jason being caught by the Justice League and usually getting bailed out by the batfam, but imagine if it was Brucie Wayne bailing him out:

In the JL interrogation room:

Superman: Alright, Red Hood, who is your supplier helping you move drugs in Star City?

Red Hood, who was undercover investigating a drug ring and got caught in a JL bust and sesnses an opportunity to mess with Batman: Look, I know you guys aren't cops, but can I get at least get one phone call?

Justice league looking skeptical?

Red Hood: You can even monitor it.

Green Arrow: Fine one phone call, but it will be monitored.

Hands Hood a phone

Red Hood: Hey Dad, I got stopped by the Justice League. Could you come bail me out? Really, okay, see you soon. Okay, my Dad said that he would bail me, so could we go over to the teleporters?

Green Arrow: Okay, firstly, we aren't cops, you can't just post bail and get out. Secondly, how would this "Dad" get up here?

Red Hood: You'll see.

Minutes later, Brucie Wayne walks in with a trail of Heroes, trying to explain why he cannot be at the Watchtower.

Superman: Mr. Wayne what are you doing here and how did you get here?

Bruce laying the Brucie persona on thick: Well as one of the Justice League's biggest doners and tech suppliers I have access to the teleporters, as for why I'm here it's to bail out my son. Hi Jaylad!

Red Hood fully expecting Batman: What?

Green Arrow remembering his friend's grief over loosing Jason: Ummmm, Mr. Wayne this is the Red Hood. You know "Bag full of severed heads" Red Hood.

Brucie: Yes, I know he's had some issues with his big feelings, but he's still my sweet little boy.

Superman: And you think that he's your late son Jason Todd?

Brucie: Yes, Batman even confirmed it was him. It turns out that after he died, he was brought back by an organization that planned on using him as a weapon against Batman. But he left them and has been working to improve Crime Alley, I'm so proud of him.

Green Arrow: We caught him in Star City with Drug runners.

Brucie: I'm sure he has a good explanation, don’t you Jaylad?

Red Hood still reeling from Bruce showing up as Brucie and not Batman: I was undercover?

Brucie: See perfectly reasonable, now can I please have my baby boy back? Alfred will be so upset if he's not home for dinner.

Surprisingly, this works , the Justice League is to stunned by this revelation and later confirm this with Batman that yes, the notorious Red Hood is the son of Billionaire, philanthropist airhead Brucie Wayne. Jason, meanwhile, has suffered a huge blow to his cred in the Hero community because of the association with Brucie instead of the Batfam. The bat siblings do not let this go anytime soon.

Jason: so uh. I called B dad the other day? It just felt right in the moment? And he got all teary eyed and then hugged me? But I haven't seen him since then???

Dick: hmm. Yeah. Totally unrelated, but how much do you weight?

Jason: Uh. 240-250 ish?? Why??

Dick: give him another week or so, he's getting there.

Meanwhile Bruce in the cave:

Personally, it seems undeniable but??? Apparently not.

I think he is, but I also think Golden and Silver age Bruce would never.

See, Golden and Silverage Bruce had a good mix of good person trying to help these kids, but you can kinda tell he might not be the best parent, but that's because no parent is perfect. But you can still tell Bruce loves his kids

then you see in after Tim Drake that there's a bit of a push that the Robins aren't really his sons, (which fair, Tim had parents at the time) but also, it kinda changed the dynamic for Batman and Robin.

I am a firm believer that Bruce is a good person, but a bad Parent, but then I remember the times he's literally brutally beaten his children into submission and-- recent Writers don't understand that you can't write an abuser to be a hero. You just can't. How are you going to have BATMAN BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HIS KIDS???

as an immigrant child, I can excuse a slap here or there (If I ever had kids I would NEVER, but culture and time), but slapping your kid so hard they fall to the ground? punching them hard enough to the point where blood is flowing? That's Abuse. Capital A Abuse.

it's ooc, but most of these events haven't been retconned, and Bruce is continued to be written as this macho man who beats his kids for dominance, so he's an abuser.

Time Travel (sort of)

"Hush, be patient, Master Wayne."

"But that's my son, not yours!?"

"Careful, darling, you might break his poor little angel ears."

Bruce could hear his parents talking. He knew his head wasn't on the right way when he saw the vision of his mother and father. Even Alfred is there. Exactly how Bruce remember him when he was younger.

He quietly grasp for nothing in the air. Thomas squealed. He carries Bruce, lift him up in the air like some sort of toy. And Bruce doesn't understand it even a little bit.

Where was he? Why is his parents still alive? How did this happen?

As it turns out, he time traveled. Sort of? Perhaps.

He had been died in his first timeline. That's all he could remember. Being under Superman's embrace, his head badly wounded, and Dick was desperately trying to keep him alive. But it was all worthless.

Bruce is dead.

And now he somehow get transported into where he had been started. In his lively manor, with his parents and Alfred. Like a family supposed to be. But Bruce know better.

Somehow, he could still lose his parents. He doesn't want to. But it's the event that would impacted so much to his life.

And what Bruce did is to pretend that it doesn't impacted him that much. To pretend that he's alright and had been moving on. Never becomes Batman. Just a regular kind, caring, and cheerful Bruce Wayne.

Somehow he still got Dick Grayson who sneak out every night, followed by Jason Todd (he didn't die in this timeline, thank god), Cassandra Cain... basically all of his previous children.

He knew that they were up to something. Something like "vigilantism".

And what's wrong with the Justice League trying to protecting Bruce all cost? It's not like he's a damsel in distress! (He is an attention seeking whore instead).

Just finish watching Justice League War, and I have some thoughts:

On one hand, HOLY BATLANTERN... I GET IT NOW WHY THIS IS Y'ALL HOLY GRAIL... I UNDERSTAND NOW MY BRAIN EXPANDING. I'm very giddy with all of their banters like osbkebdkd?? So cute 😭, the way Hal being the first one Bruce ever took his cowl off for to share why he's helping people is so??!??!?? Amazing, absolute cinema

On another hand, I lowkey wanna kill myself with whatever they try to do with WW and superman. Like the "sexual tension" is not. Is not it. Batlantern that wasn't even the primary ship or relationship even had more sexual tension than them. I need DC TO STOP... STOP IT.

My main reason high key is how they portray Clark, like when he first meet Hal and Bruce I was kinda giggling and kicking my feet that he's acting a bit cocky, but thats the only part I like about it, the rest?? WHO IS THIS AND WHAT THEY DO TO MY SUPERMAN?????? #notmysupes

I kinda like the way they portray Diana tho, she's great in that film, my top three, I just don't like whatever the hell they trying to do to with WW and Superman, I don't like they try to push her to man gaze in general anyway like let the gurl slay and stab people COME ON

Barry, Vick and Billy is solid, I don't have much to complain about them tbh, I just have more beef with the Superman x WW they trying to do like ON GOD. Luckily Batlantern was so strong I feel less mad lmao, they so sksbdkbdkd Bruce immediately understand and get to connect with Hal?? And the part Hal put Bat in the box to protect him while he try to fight superman is HILARIOUS. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I love them, 8/10 (it's minus 2 cuz I really don't like Clark in this and WW x Supes ship, I'm sorry fellas)
