always one to kick things off with a great startโ my laptop broke this morning :)

welcome to april! long time no seeโ i havenโt had the energy to work on my bujo for a while, if iโm being honest. i finally got a schedule of sorts together to give myself some structure, though, so my bujo is more important than ever!
(from insta) soooo... turns out i REALLY like painting! more than markers, or brush pens, or any of the other methods i normally use to make spreads... paintingโs just super relaxing!
this is a #beforethepen of my usual study-and-grades-tracker spread i make every semester in order to keep track of how iโm doing. i think it came out really well! iโm super distractible, so i need to be extra-organized to make up for my scatterbrain tendencies ๐
again, this theme is inspired by @hayleyremdeart โs canyon theme from 2019!
(from insta) my semester-in-review theme is made up of these swirling colors in a pattern inspired by @hayleyremdeart โs canyon theme early last year! .
the colors themselves are inspired by lordeโs melodrama, which i maaay have listened to a little obsessively over winter break. the colors on that album are GORGEOUS, and while i kinda veered off into my own thing, i really like the interplay of the dark blues and teals with the tans and reddish-browns ๐

Turned out a bit chaotic but it's a happy one.

But I LOVE IT
Just bought these pens and wanted to swatch them... and I ended up with this spread but like... I love it. (The hot pink and the red look a bit more different irl, I promise)

Ik I said I wasn't going to do any more scrapbooking on this journal because it's already bulking up way more than the first one at this point and I'm not even halfway there, but I had all of these stickers laying around and so much bleeding to cover up and I just~ (โ ็ฌโ ยบโ โฟโ ยบโ ็ฌโ ) Last time though!!!

๐โจ๐ I had no actual control over how aesthetically pleasing this turned out (well except for the background and the ones I drew) but I just love it. And I had so much fun collecting trash for it having this spread to do in addition to opening each surprise ๐โจ๐
Really wanted to post my advent calendar spread while you can still see the background, because I really spent so much time choosing one that wouldn't overwhelm it and I love it so much! ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐โ๏ธ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐โ๏ธ
