32. A kiss while someone watches

Kristoff had never expected there to be hundreds of people watching him on his wedding day. Of course, he'd never expected to be marrying the Queen of Arendelle.

The second they were pronounced husband and wife, all he wanted was to run off with her, away from all those eyes, to have Anna to himself in private, showing his wife just how happy he was to be her husband. But everyone was watching them.

Anna wasn't as concerned about privacy. The second they got out of the church, she grabbed his face and kissed him, hard. A wild cheer rose up from the crowd, everyone hooting and laughing as they watched their fiery queen kiss her consort as if none of them were there.

Kristoff circled his arms around Anna's waist and tuned them all out as he smiled against her lips and kissed her back.

I was tagged by @annaofthenorthernlights. Thank you so much love!<3 Some of these were from multi-chapter fics and wasn’t sure if I was supposed to take the first line from the most recent chapter or not, so ended up doing the first line from the first one. Some of these are very short and are all Kristanna fics except the least one. I was surprised to see how far back these went date wise. I really have been writing as much as I used to. :(

1. Anna shivered as she stuffed her hands in the pocket of the towering blonde beside her, thankful that the world had blessed her with a boyfriend who had body heat like a furnace. (A Season to Hold Close)

Anna beamed at her sister as she packed a few games and things for them so that Elsa would have no trouble keeping them entertained. The older sister pursed her lips and leaned over the kitchen counter, playing one-handed with the ice skater figurine that adorned the etagere.

"I'm not that curious, you know that. But may I ask why Kristoff wants the house to yourselves tonight?"

Her voice suggested innocent questioning, but her sparkling eyes betrayed Ela's cluelessness. Anna squirmed and shrugged, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ears.

"Oh, well... he just wanted us to have a romantic dinner at home. Just the two of us, before Christmas Eve. It's sort of his gift to me this year.

I usually write something for Halloween, and despite my break from fanfic, I was trying to get something together for this year (y'all, it was going to be a Practical Magic AU!). Sigh. Instead here's some of the Halloween/Fall Frozen fics I have written. Artwork by @keeshya6 and @justfrozenthings , both for The Jakku Lantern. I have started something for Yule, so hopefully I can manifest it! My WIPs are also always on my mind, but sorry I still have a block on them. In the mean time, Happy Halloween, everyone! Anna, an aspiring hair stylist, hopes to get to know her crush/co-worker Kristoff better when he asks her to dye his hair blue. Everything goes well until it doesn't.

The Jakku Lantern (Kristanna, T)

It’s Kristoff, his Mandalorian helmet, and Olaf the Pumpkin King, against Raggedy Anna and Elsa AKA Maleficent, in a pumpkin carving contest judged by Sandy Claws Sven. Will Mando get a happy ending, despite the helmet that just won't budge, in this alternate version of the charades scene from Frozen II?

The Headless Horseman, a Chilling Tale (Kristanna, T)

One Halloween night, Anna finally left her violent and controlling husband Hans and fled through the dark hedges, which were said to be haunted by a headless horseman in search of blood and heads, to get to her sister Elsa. While the headless horseman was only a legend, Anna's cruel husband was real. Will the horrors of the forest be worse than than the husband she left behind?

There's a demonic presence in the house Anna has inherited from her parents, who died in unexplained circumstances. Determined to sell it and be rid of the burden, she's enlists the help of her ex-husband Hans and Honeymaren's paranormal investigation team, but she finds herself relying on the local sheriff's expertise instead.

After getting caught sneaking out of Hans' dorm room, Anna gets stuck helping her folks out at the reenactment of the first Harvest Day at the Olde Arendelle Historic Village instead of spending it with her friends. She's happy enough to play dress up and help out until she gets stuck on table setting duty with Hans' nerdy roommate Kristoff, the guy who ratted her out.

Iduna's Apple (Kristanna, T)

Kristoff had been giving Anna baskets of his best apples for her Harvest Day pies for years, but he was always too shy to express his affection in any other way. Everything changed, though, when Anna got a goat named Sven with a taste for apples.

Kristoff had less than a week left to finish building his company's float for the Arendelle Harvest Day Parade and he had everything planned out… until his boss Olaf insisted that his niece Anna help out.

I read something the other day about “waste your time, that’s when the good stuff happens” - and this is the very best of good stuff to procrastinate over!

Mountain Man

Summary: Kristoff lives a solitary life off the grid in the wilds of Alaska.  He is a mountain man in every sense of the word.  When his supply pilot Anna is forced to stay with him and wait out a winter storm, his world is thrown completely out of balance.

The mysterious mists that once enveloped the Enchanted Forest return, seeking. Queen Anna and Kristoff travel to liaise with Elsa and the new leader of the Northuldra, but are attacked. In protecting Anna, Kristoff and Sven are sucked into the mist. Anna now alone on the blizzard strewn mountain.

Inside the mist, Kristoff and Sven are merged temporarily and He becomes a gatekeeper of realms, King of the Inbetween? When they merge they access that magic and become an amplifier for Anna and Elsa’s own abilities, not controlling them but empowering them. But when the Reindeer King is returned to Arendelle, a menacing presence is also drawn from the rift. ‘We have always feared Elsa's powers were too much for this world, now, we must pray they are enough.’

I don’t know what has inspired this, because I mostly read modern AU Kristanna fanfics (@loonysama (annas-hair-donut), @glassslippers-n-cowboyboots (flowersinherhair), @hiptoff @annaofthenorthernlights you’re all inspiring authors) and don’t look at sneak peeks for future Frozen sequels because I don’t want to ruin the ending for myself, be surprised and enjoy the moments we already have with these characters. But I woke up suddenly in the middle of the night the other week and this image filled my entire mind. He’s back again with an entire origin story, so guess I better post it!

And I’m going all out with 6,969 words, a title from a 1969 Beatles song, and, last but definitely not least, some good old-fashioned 69!

I had dreams of expanding this series with a multi-chap about Anna working at KB's garage with boss/employee relationship (read: secret relationship), friends-to-lovers, trauma recovery, and a wicked slow burn. IDK, maybe I still will.
