So, I love all of the fanart of Scar with insect/fairy wings, but now lets make it angsty and terrible. Scar on the ground trying to crawl away as a Hermit stands on his back as they rip off his wings. If you want to go a little farther, have that same hermit taxidermy his wings and put them on display.
More Scar angst! What if Scar has two large scars on his back were his Vex wings would be. So his Vex Form doesn’t have wings anymore because they were cut/chopped off.
