Another ex headcannon:

So, Ex cannonicly knits, right?

I think they probably do it in order to relax for a bit and cool down a bit. So they can take a break from all the evil scheming he does, and just focus on knitting for a bit.

Then, i started thinking about other hobbies he might have picked up in order to chill out for a bit and i immediately thought of cooking. (and gardening)

Like, just imagine:

For years, he hates it. They're way too lazy to learn it and not patient enough for it either. All they eat are shitty microwaved meals.

Until one day, someone (probably Zed or Xisuma) finally forces them to learn it. They get annoyed at first and refuse to cooperate, but eventually, once they get better at it, start to enjoy it.

At some point they start cooking on their own (without Zed's or X's help) and they realize how much fun it can be.

After a while, they refuse to let anyone else inside the kitchen while they're cooking. After all, it's one of the few things that makes them feel at peace, and there's no way they are letting anyone disturb it, or see them this relaxed. (he also doesn't want anyone to find out that he poisoned Xisumas food)

OKAY SO UNFORTUNATELY, my (unmedicated) adhd said ✨no✨to me finishing the first chapter of wolau on time, HOWEVER: I've instead worked on some future chapters AND started working on two artworks for the first chapter (instead of just one)

To give you guys at least SOME content while im working on the fic, here's the art refs for the first chapter!!! (Which i might post on my bday, the 25th :3)

Web of Lies hermitcraft AU (Summary/info post)

Grian is surprised when Jimmy contacts him, especially since they haven't spoken in years. Back then, Grian was still a journalist who secretly worked with villains and Jimmy was a young adult who got accepted into a hero program...

Apparently Jimmy had become a vigilante instead, and the reason he contacted Grian was because he and his civilian friend Joel were creating an underground fighting ring and they needed workers for the bar above it that functions as a cover up.

He's hesitant to accepts their offer, since he's been trying to stay out of any... Crime "Shenanigans" for the past few years since quiting his job as a journalist, but agrees after they assure him that they just need a civilian worker that won't rat them out to the heroes.

Everything goes well at first and Grian slowly gets to know the other staff members better, that is until he starts to overhear more and more strange conversations between his co-workers, mentioning a strange type of magic that has been causing chaos in the city recently. It sounds awfully familiar to a cult Grian knows from his time as a journalist in Evo.

Grian is determined to stay out of it, ESPECIALLY if it turns out he's correct about the watchers being involved, but he has to at least do something, right?

Or, Grian has to make a choice between his quiet life as a "civilian" and saving his friends. Determined to do both, he tries to influence the watchers games from behind the scenes without anyone finding out, even going as far as creating new secret personas. Too bad the watchers think identity reveals are incredibly entertaining...

I want to make a space au inspired by rens gigaverse lore SO bad.

But i have like... 5 other wip AU, that actually have a plot n story n stuff. My only idea for this one is "Zedaph does human experiments and ren explores space!!!" 😭

[Day 31]: Rendog!

Decided to make a lil animation of our favorite Gigacorp employee for today's hermitaday :D He's exploring the recently discovered planet he build his base on.

Oh! What's that??? Looks like he got spooked by something... It was probably just the wind or something, right? I'm sure its fine... :)

Goodness gracious, i can't believe hermitaday 2024 is over??? THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IVE COMPLETED AN ART CHALLANGE LIKE THIS LMFAO-

Everyone say thank you to my adhd meds!!! Are they working properly??? Nope. Not at all. But they r making me hyperfixate on things 24/7, mainly art, which is probably the only reason i completed this LMFAO (my grades on the other hand... Are suffering... Oop-)

SUGGESTIONS R WELCOME

Since yall seem to like my other AUs/headcanons, I've decided to rant a bit about my 'main' one :3 (kept vague to avoid spoilers)

Small summary: (more indepth rant below)

it's a villan & hero hermitcraft / life series / empires au, focused on bad boys (at least during the first arc). Joel creates a bar as a cover for a fighting ring/information selling business, joined by pearl effo gem grian and jimmy. Grian refuses to participate in the criminal activities at first, but doesn't rat them out either. (inspired by his resisting the resistance thing in s9)

However, as u can probably guess, this doesn't last long and he slowly gets more n more involved, especially once random people mysteriously start getting "the red curse", which he recognizes from his past... (hehe watcher lore) Grian continues to pretend to stay uninvolved while trying to keep the Watchers at bay behind the scenes, even going as far as creating multiple alter egos / secret identities in order to hide his involvement.... (poultry man, cute guy, mother spore,...) Sadly, the Watchers think identity reveals are incredibly amusing and make it their mission to reveal Grians secrets... :)

Now, lil poll bc i wanna know yalls preference:

Im not a very experienced writer, so I can't guarantee the fics would be any good- while i def prefer comics, it would take a long ass time and I'm not sure whether its a good idea since i tend to loose interest in projects p fast wkdhakdj

Still debating what to name it, I think ill call it "Web of lies", "Wolau" for short LMFAO. Im not very good at naming things 😭 suggestions are welcome!!!

Joel is a fairly new villain who has decided to start a business focused on fighting rings, selling information and just generally doing criminal stuff. (inspired by his secret fighting club in s10). He hires Gem and jimmy, two ex-vigilantes who became a bit more... Villainous. Their cover is a normal bar, which ofc means they also need normal employees who won't snitch. Jimmy suggests Grian toJoel, since he's a retired informant. He basically started out as an investigative journalist in another city, but got more n more involved with both villains and heroes (which is how he knows jimmy) before joining a cult (watcher lore watcher lore watcher lore-) and suddenly dissappearing.

Although he went missing a few years ago, they manage to track him down. He joins, but tells them he's not involved in the world of villains anymore and that he wants to stay out of everything (so hes basically working in the bar that they use as a cover as a 'normal' employee and turns a blind eye to anything criminal going on)

That's kind of the start of the story? Afterwards, Pearl, a villain who was Scott's (<-the previous biggest informant in the city) old co-worker, but got betrayed by him and is now plotting his murder, joins in. Later on etho joins, who is originally sent by the hermits as a spy (<- p big villain&vigilante alliance in the city) but ends up deciding to side w/ them. (BOAT BOYS BOAT BOYS BOAT BOYS-)

(pearl & Scott's conflict is ofc a double life ref and etho is a mycelium resistance ref, he also ends up finding out about some of grians secrets and helping him behind the scenes)

Although its focused on the members of the bar, later on it focuses more on other hermits (since they get more involved w/ the villain group "hermits" which most of the hermits are a part of) but there's also some side stories that focus on other ppl (there's a whole side story about Ren and Doc getting to know each other after Ren gets infected by the curse, or martyn whole listener thing & how it's connected to renchanting/ren getting cursed and the Watchers showing up in the first place... But i dont wanna spoil too much :3)

Oh also! Hermits r mainly criminals(vigilantes, villains, big salmom mafia,...) and Empires members r usually heroes! But there is some exceptions to this rule. (jimmy n martyn for example)

ANY KIND OF QUESTIONS OR SUGGESTIONS R WELCOME!!! might not be able to answer everything bc of spoilers, but ill def try to do some foreshadowing instead :3

Can you tell us a little bit about the Lemon tree au?

OHH YES OFC!

The lemon tree story is actually part of a bigger AU of mine :D

Basically, i had this idea for an au in a medieval european setting, where a bunch of magic users and hybrids (the hermits) have created a hidden safetown anyone hunted for their powers, since magic is illegal in most other towns

Grian, a watcher in training, gets send there to keep an eye on the incredibly chaotic magic users, who regularly accidentally open up portals to other dimensions, and stop said shenanigans if they get out of hand.

(this goes as well as you think it would, because really, WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO LET THE GUY WHO'S KNOWN FOR BEING CHAOTIC AND WHO STARTS REVOLUTIONS REGULARLY DO THIS???)

The lemon tree is basically a lil story about gem, the owner of the fish shop (that also sells treasure!) and Pearl, one of the postal workers & the person who does the most community work

Gem is rly grateful for all the things Pearl has done for the town in the past few months, so she decides to repay her by decorating! Her first target is of course the town square, where all the shops and the post office are located. She plants a little lemon tree and uses magic to make it grow faster, which uh... Ends up going a bit haywire...

(i don't wanna give away more than that yet, since i don't wanna spoil the comic, but feel free to ask other questions if u have any!)

Yk when u draw a lil lemon tree for funsies, then decide adding a hermit to it would be a lil silly, THEN get a rly cute idea for another drawing and suddenly u went from drawing a lemon tree to planning out a p big comic for a Hermitcraft Au

You could always have the Watchers be like, supernspecfic with the pain they cause. Cause, like, gender and shit doesn't matter to floating eyes and if the players are too focused on if they presennt how they want, when will muder happen??

I love transgender headcanons as much as the next lad, but I have no idea how to make it work in my Lab AU without offending people. It's not like the Watchers will give them T (in fact they would probably take it away just to upset them. Because this whole gig is just a glorified angst farm)

Headcannons and Theories time Pt.8

More headcannons regarding the Watchers and Listeners, what if there was more dieties besides the default Watchers and Listeners in the world of Evolution SMP and similar servers.

Orginally, the Watchers were based off the idea of that the viewers watching the player's videos were to input suggestions through comments. But now has evolved into a seperate entity different from the original premise into an etheral organisation who watches. Although the interpretation of the Watchers differ between viewers, the main concept of them being an evil presence is a common theme between ideas, but what if there was more dieties.

Both the Watchers and Listeners already exist and a common idea that links them is that they are two of the five common senses of the human body. Other fanmade concepts such as the Speakers from marsmarbles their Chained Life AU exist adding onto the original concept but what if there was another entity.

An entity that was there from the beginning. An entity more powerful than the Watchers and Listeners combined. A godly presence who created the Watchers, Listeners and all those who come after them like Khaos (Chaos) from Greek Mythology. A being whose concept relates to the mind as that is the body part that controls and operates the different organs of a body. Like a name of the Overmind(s) who spawned the Watchers and Listeners to help in their endeavor to expand the universe and whose descendants eventually became the Admins.

So in summary, what if there was more godly entities besides the Watchers and Listeners and what if an more etheral and ancient presence existed before the Watchers and Listeners. Thus, the Overmind.

The Mother Spore

I think I might redo a couple of my old hermitcraft AUs. Y'know since there's now Skizz and Joel who are apart of the group now. Question is which one I should redo first

Information on each AU:

Centaur Au- Rather self-explanatory, everyone is centaurs instead of humans or humanoid. Mostly horses but there's some variants too.

Cabin in the Woods Au- Cabin in the Woods-esque world with monster/creachur hermits & friends. Along with a bit of people turning into monsters.

Dracotaur Au- I mean, dragon centaurs. Including long noodle bois, chonky bois, big winged bois, and people getting turned into draconic creatures and going a bit feral.

Protomob Au- Where the hermits are the prototypes to the modern-day mob hybrids. A little glitched, a little less human, a very much more cryptid to other people.

Monster Hunter Au- Takes place post-S8 but more like the world is pre-monster hunter. And the hermits are all practically deities now, their essence keeping the world alive and going. And mutating the surrounding areas.

Naruto Aftermath Au- (Name might change) Pretty much several hermits are Naruto characters, but like, post a timeline where they won against the Moon Goddess but were the only survivors for several centuries. Including Etho = Kakashi, Skizz = Sasuke, Scar = Obito, etc
