I just looove interesting details about canonical characters. Like their favorite color, what they like to eat. What flower or animal they associate with, etc.
This is my favorite, so it was only a matter of time before I did something similar for Marie.
So, first of all, I drew her in a floral outfit, and then I couldn't resist and decided to do the same thing for Basil. Because, why not?

My sincere headcanon is that Basil likes to collect various things/arefacts that have some "bad history". Even better if they're cursed
So the ship from the inside resembles the Warrens' house with their collection
