Monodeku au where Midoriya is a popular streamer and Monoma is a small streamer with a massive crush on him.
Every Tuesday Monoma streams the sims. Within this sims game, Monomas sim is dating another sim that looks suspiciously like Midoriya.
One day Midoriya discovers Monomas's stream on his side account and becomes an avid viewer.
By accident, Midoriya donates to Monoma on his main twitch account which then causes Monoma to just completely lose it.

So I think one of my favorite bnha tropes in the history of tropes is Monoma secretly being best friends or having a crush on a 1-A student.
Monodeku is my favorite though because midoriya is the 1-A golden boy! And the idea that Monoma has a giannnt crush on the #1 student in 1-A is such a silly thing to me :)!
I also really like the idea that midoriya actively tries to befriend monoma despite how clearly he shows his dislike towards 1-A. They really are one sided rivals to loved and that's my favorite thing thing ever!! :D

Monodeku au where Midoriya is the star player on some random sport team and Monoma is the caption of the rival team.
monodeku au where Midoriya is an art major, and Monoma is a science major. they go to the same college and HATE each other. The two of them have one class together though, analysis.
They go throughout the whole year sitting as far away from each other as possible. Anytime they pass each other in the hallways it gets super tense. So, obviously, their analysis teacher has taken note of their animosity.
To try and curb the mutual hatred they get pared for an assignment. Through this project, the two of them realize the other isn't actually that bad. but! They both refuse to admit this so, they continue to act as if they hate each other while trying to get closer.
It becomes increasingly obvious to anyone who pays attention that the two of them are into each other but will never admit it. So people begin placing bets.
"Monoma will crack and confess first!"
"No! Midoriya will! He's so impulsive!"
things of that sort. The whole au is basically intense pining. Do the two of them ever get together? I mean probably but I like to think they're stuck pining for each other for the rest of their lives.
did you guys know that Midoriya and Monoma have compatible zodiac signs. they're literally canon.
I made a bunch of these so you can expect that this is all I'm posting for the next few days
Monodeku au that takes place in a world where quirks are only a thing in comic books. Midoriya has a ton of hero merch still but then reads about batman and is like "I can do that" and sells his hero merch and becomes a vigilante. Monoma is the "villain" of the story but then its "enemies" to reluctant teammates to friends to lovers.
some excerpts/ideas from this au because I can't write but this au is all I think about so here are some small little bits about it :). ALSO! Mei and Shinsou would be there too because they are best friends.
-after becoming a vigilante Midoriya slowly becomes BEST FRIENDS with a few members of the police force (cough cough Eraserhead and Tsukauchi cough cough).
-Midoriya is absolutely LOADDDED which is how he gets away with everything and it's how he safely is a vigilante.
-Midoriya, before selling all of his comic merch, was a known collector in multiple groups. He had so much expensive and limited edition stuff. So, when he started to sell everything all the other collectors were like "dude??"
-How Mei met Midoriya: Midoriya was looking for places to buy body armor and commission custom pieces and such when he comes across some really sketch ad. He basically goes "fuck it we ball" and it turns out to be such a good idea and he makes one of his best friends.
-Midoriya and Shinsou introduction is:
Midoriya: [chilling on a roof looking over city]
Shinsou: Come here often?
Midoriya: OH SHIT [jumps off the roof like a startled cat]
Shinsou for the next few minutes: Oh fuck I just killed someone oh fuck oh fuck
Midoriya, climbing back up the building: IM ALIVE
then they become best friends because of the absurdity.
-the way Monoma gets introduced is: he puts on a silly little villain persona on Twitter to add some spice to the new vigilante's life. What he doesn't expect is the vigilante to start tweeting back at him. They argue back and forth for a bit. Obviously very joking on Midoriyas side, Monoma doesn't know that though. Then they meet up for a bit when they both have to run from the cops together because who knew being a public menace and vigilante was illegal.
The running from the cops really jumpstarts their friendship, which continues via Twitter and occasional meet-ups. Then they start subtly flirting on Twitter and everyone gets pissed at them for it.
-There would be no angst in this au because I cannot write it for the life of me. It's just Midoriyas silly little hijinks as a make-shift rich-ass vigilante with his newfound friends and father figures.
I have been thinking about this au for over three years I needed to get it out of my brain SOMEWHERE.
please consider when Midoriya and Monoma are pro heroes:
Midoriya got a letter in the mail today. This normally wouldn't be unusual, seeing as he's a pro hero he receives fan mail all the time. This letter, however, in bright bold red letters on the front, says 'TOP SECRET, FOR MIDORIYAS EYES ONLY'.
He had assumed it was a letter from the hero commission regarding a new mission or something of the sort. While it was rather strange, they sent him a letter instead of an email, Midoriya took the letter inside with urgency.
Still, under the assumption this was a mission from the hero commission, Midoriya didn't take the time to find his letter opener. Pulling out the contents, this wasn't a mission. The pages were full of romantic words and cheesy date ideas. A pickup line here, a description of his face and where the author wanted to kiss there. Line after line, page after page, Midoriya was bright red.
And right there, at the bottom of the last page. In black ink it read, 'Love, Neito'.
This 'classified information' was instead a love letter from his dimwit of a husband.
au where Monoma and Midoriya become streamers/YouTubers, but none of their fans know that they're dating. So like picture their fan's surprise when they see Midoriya walk past Monoma's camera in his underwear.
The first time Midoriya sees Monoma wearing glasses he gets so distracted by the sight of it that he walks into a wall.

My top pair would obvi be monodeku! I forget why I originally first started shipping them but I slowly became obsessed with them :)!
Number two would probably be shinsou!! I really enjoy their dynamic both romantically and platonically :D
ANNND number three is todoroki! Which I know sounds strange but I really enjoy monoma finding the top members of class 1-A attractive. It's makes me giggle! I mostly enjoy them platonically but romantically they're fun as well :)
Monoma: I'm kind of crushing on someone but I'm worried about telling you who it is because I don't think you'll like it…
Shinsou: Just rip the bandage off.
Monoma: It's Midoriya.
Shinsou: Put the bandage back on.
midoriya: Must be hard not being able to laugh
monoma: I do have a sense of humor you know
midoriya: I’ve never heard you laugh before
monoma: I’ve never heard you say anything funny
then they made out
as pro heroes, during an integration:
midoriya, to the criminal: Jail is no fun. I’ll tell you that much.
monoma: Oh, you’ve been?
midoriya: Once. In Monopoly.
these are making me giggle.
monodeku au where quirks aren't a thing and Midoriya is a regular at this one arcade, so he is ridiculously good at all the games. One day some rando blond (who happens to be named Monoma) shows up. He's playing on Midoriya's favorite cabinet at the arcade so obviously, midoriya has to make fun of how bad he is at it.
Throughout all of his taunting he kept calling Monoma blondie, cause, yk, he's blond. After the game ends Monoma blows up at him.
"Would you stop calling me blondie I have a name for fucks sake, Its Monoma." a looooong intake of breath, then,
"If you think you're suuuuuch a hotshot [eyeroll], let's see you play." Monoma steps aside, motioning to the arcade machine.
Monoma scoffs. Midoriya then decimates Monomas high score and they go on a date. He ends up getting Monomas phone number.
"Under one condition," Midoriya steps up to play, "If I beat your high score, you have to go on a date with me."
(midoriya has been oogling monoma the whole time he played, he's very pretty)

It's obvi monodeku, who would I be if it wasn't. Here is the summary :D: During a training exercise, Midoriya accidentally gropes Monoma's forearm and finds out he's actually quite muscular. Now he can't stop thinking about it. This is totally going to affect his grades, isn't it?
please consider Midoriya and Monoma at a haunted house.
Monoma isn't actually that scared, he's never been easily scared. But. He chooses to be scared so he can grip Midoriya's bicep. Midoriya is very muscular, and Monoma will take any chance he can get to feel him up.
Midoriya on the other hand is scared shitless. This boy, who strikes fear into villains with just a look, is screaming at footsteps. Midoriya is also the type to punch the actors and its terrible.
He would accidentally punch someone and then immediately start apologizing and crying. Monoma is trying as hard as he can to stifle his laughter, but he just can't.
"This isn't funny Neito! I could have seriously hurt them!" The employee is still in pain on the floor, they're fine of course, but they're going to have a bruise.
At this one haunted house, the two of them had lanterns that flicker on and off and can be turned off by the actors. One of the actors had turned it off, Midoriya screams "Don't turn it off you dick!" and the actor walked up, set their hand on Monoma's shoulder and goes,
"Yeah jerk, don't turn it off". Midoriya screamed like Wild e coyote.
Another hc I have is that when they're getting chased by the actors Midoriya is one of those people who jump onto tables or hides away in small places to get away from them. This results in him losing both the actor and Monoma more than once.
Monoma, the little shithead, uses this as an opportunity to scare Midoriya more. He walks around dragging his hands along walls and ominously saying Midoriya's name until he finds him. Monoma has been punched for this.
Monoma also loves to antagonize the actors (please don't be a dick to haunted house actors btw). The actors say something, and Monoma would just respond like it's a normal conversation.
Midoriya got so scared he once ran through a wall. It was major leagues cartoony, with such a clean, very Midoriya-shaped hole in the wall.

"Copy is such a neat quirk, imagine all that you could do with it! Its the perfect quirk for a hero because of how versatile it is. You could always keep a piece of recovery girls hair on you at all times to help people who get injured during a fight. Can you copy all quirks? Like how Tsus' quirk is physical? and does it matter what you touch? like does saliva count?
You're gonna be such a good hero man! I bet you're gonna be really high ranked, especially with how pretty you are. You'll have to let me experiment on you and you're quirk in the future! With permission first, oh man am I so glad I got to meet someone with such a cool quirk! like wow, there are so many things you could do do, I mean, if you become close enough with enough pro heroes and future ones -aka us students- you'll always work well with them and their quirks.
Really relationships with other people are gonna be really important for you. OOOO and!! when you use a civilians quirk you'll probably become their like favorite hero because in way they were helping the heroes! You're gonna have to have a cool tag line, like "saving the day with your help" and point at a camera. okay, I admit that was kinda bad but, just imagine the promotional work you could do! you're quirk is so strong too!
How do you know how to use a quirk directly after you copy it? or do you just make a guess? and on a cellular level, how does it work? because quirks are apart of out cells and each one is individual so, do you just have a second set of cells that changes to match the quirk or does your current set of cells just temporarily adapt? and how does it work when you copy more than one quirk?
plus, wouldn't having more than one quirk like reck your body? so how do you manage that? and do you feel the drawbacks at the level or is it a higher level than the original quirk user? have you ever tried to use two of them at once? what's the most quirks you can copy? the most complex? your quirk is so cool I have so many questions-"
