Your gateway to endless inspiration
@hantengudelulu @fallstreakfeathers @virtuousweakling: If there were other supernatural creatures in the KNY world, that demons could kill and eat (for example: werewolves, sirens, mermaids and a thousand other fantasy creatures), would their blood be more "interesting" than humans due to not being fully human blood? Like, could it be similar to a marechi type of taste? Don't know how that popped up in my head.
From Izuku to Katsuki, chapter 119.
I really love this little quite done by Izuku. To me it shows that despite being bullied by Katsuki from kindergarten all the way to their first year at high school, he still admires Katsuki. In my eyes it's so Izuku that I love it. He himself stated int he very same chapter, just a few panels before this: "As and as your bad side was... your strengths were just as impressive,"
He knows Katsuki has a bad side (and all to well sadly) but he seemed to focus slightly more on Katsuki's strengths which he called impressive. Basically, admiration.
Another example of Izuku's admiration for Katsuki is in the final exam mini arc where Izuku and Katsuki were paired up to fight All Might. There was this mini flashback of Katsuki standing for himself against two seniors at the age of 6.
Izuku is seen admiring Katsuki's bravery behind a near by tree, admiring at how Katsuki, like All Might, always wins at the end. Again, he had said that he could only admire All Might from a distance, but Izuku is is here admiring Katsuki just behind a nearby tree.
Izuku's admiration had stirred somewhere around the age of 4 a deepened later on. How I can conclude this, is because, there was another flashback where, the two of them were in a forest, Izuku telling Katsuki how amazing his Katsuki's quirk is. Once again I repeat, admiring Katsuki. I feel that Izuku's admiration shall never stop and that even when Izuku becomes the No.1 hero, all while Katsuki is the No.2 hero, he will still find something amazing about Katsuki.
So you can see how much Izuku admires Katsuki and how significant Katsuki is in Izuku's life, so when in the infamous chapter 362, Katsuki seemingly dies, you can see the impact it brings upon Izuku.
See how his eyes change? From how the light in his eyes slowly but surely disappears as he sees a dead corpse on the floor, and how his pupils vanish the moment he realizes it's Katsuki. He doesn't believe that the person he admires just as much or possibly even more than All Might, is dead. Because he admires Katsuki for Katsuki's bravery, and sprit of always winning. Hence, Izuku's image of victory being Katsuki.
Katsuki has come a really long way as well. From bullying Izuku to 'admiring/accepting' Izuku. I feel his biggest change as a character towards Izuku was when he apologized in the rain, and for the first time in ten years or so calling Izuku by his given name.
How Horikoshi draws and depicts their development by drawing the two of them when they were toddlers, to middle school, then high school, to the moment where he's apologizing, brings forth a mountain of indescribable feelings and emotions. How Katsuki said he looked down on Izuku because Izuku was quirkless, and therefore thought that Izuku was meant to be classified as beneath him.
But even so, he always felt that Izuku was above him, and he hated that. So Katsuki bullied Izuku, to keep Izuku at arm's length, but Izuku kept running and chasing after him, as I have said, because of how much Izuku admires Katsuki. He tried to act all superior by rejecting Izuku, but as he says, he kept losing that fight if trying to act superior. And through out the whole first year at UA, he was forced to realize Izuku's strengths and his weaknesses. And he apologizes, along with saying Izuku's name in front of all his classmates.
For Katsuki to show even some sort of weakness is hard enough but the fact that he willingly and ooenly shows his weakness in front of at least 20 people, is a lot to say on its own. And Katsuki continues by saying how he and everyone else will be there to help Izuku when Izuku can't handle everything on his own.
His apology to Izuku was one of the final pieces needed to bring back Izuku to UA, the efforts of Ochako, Tenya and everyone else in 1A will not go unnoticed. And as Izuku falls from exhaustion, all his emotions starting to cave in, we can how fast Katsuki runs to just catch Izuku from falling.
You can't even see the remainder of Katsuki's leg due to the speed he was running at to catch Izuku from falling, while muttering how he and everyone else in 1A gets how Izuku feels. From how Katsuki used to bully Izuku to now 'admiring/accepting' Izuku shows how far Katsuki has come, and there are still others out there stating how Katsuki has zero character development.
And another thing I should point out is how Katsuki is trying to change his habit of calling Izuku, Deku. Katsuki is trying to make the effort of calling Izuku by his given name, instead of a nickname he had made up that meant how useless Izuku was. Why he stops calling Izuku by his given name was due to him saying, "Deku-Izuku," And Izuku had replied, telling Katsuki that if calling him by his given name was too hard, then he doesn't want Katsuki to force himself to call him Izuku.
And Katsuki took that as a rejection. Therefore, he stopped calling Izuku, well... Izuku, anymore. Until of course the last few moments before Shigaraki crushed his heart, and killing Katsuki.
His final thoughts were about Izuku, his final words were also about Izuku. Katsuki has come a long way from bullying to 'admiration/acceptance' While Izuku has continued to admire Katsuki despite the consistent bullying.
"So Izuku... can I... still catch up to you?"
~Bakugou Katsuki, chapter 362.
This is just my thoughts by the way, I was just merely reading chapter 119 again, and Deku's single sentence just prompted a whole analysis in my mind. It's more of a focus on Katsuki and Izuku's friendship-rivalry than actual bkdk.
Man i just read like...A Lot of SNK in a few days and i really really like it all.... Until like the last 20 pages or so. Well, even like the last 10. Just feels unfinished? But maybe that's the point....
Live Laugh Love cause I can't Obliterate, Offend, or Off myself
Just recalled that some people working in health care in Norway, when dealing with a patient who's on deathbed, they'll say the patient is on LSD, because it also works as an acronym for: livets siste dager, which directly translates as life's last days.
“I love you, bro.”
My thoughts of Zane's "sacrifice"
So, he wasn't destroyed, he was banished to realm that called "Never-realm".
But I don't think that he is "sacrificed". I am 99.9% sure that he wanted to get there, If it was Zane in that moment... I'm sure it wasn't him.
He(or something in him) didn't want to give Wu the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu (Why forbidden🤔?). He hesitated for a moment, but after Wu yelled at him he "woke up".
And that moment of "sacrificing" - look at his pose! This pose directly radiates confidence in that action.
And look at his eyes! They narrowed! Narrowed in a bad meaning! In a bad, tricky meaning!
He definitely knew what he(or not he) doing!
And before this, when Aspheera(right?) tried to shoot in Wu, everyone was shocked and scared, but Zane has his eyebrow up, like if he(definitely not Zane) has a great idea(how to get to his real body... Ahem..Ice Emperor.. Ahem... ):
And after realising this I went like this:
I cannot thank you guys enough for all to love on my recent Batfamily post!! Tysm to everybody!
give me characters to draw (this is a threat)
Something something Jayce having a one-eye-covered motif throughout the second season… something something it being in the new intro and the corrupted statue on the alternate dimension… something something ever since Viktor came out of the Hexcore he appeared to have his eyes open but his followers eyes became blank and blind whenever he took control… something something he believed himself to be enlightened but was projecting his own view onto the world… something something Viktor’s mask half-melted away in the final act to reveal the eye which Jayce had covered in other scenes… something something Viktor and Jayce weren’t able to see from the same perspectives but ultimately when their views were brought together they finally found a way to pull their paths back together through affection
broke: Ahsoka and Rex swap outfits and it’s horribly obvious plus fits badly
woke: Ahsoka and Rex swap outfits and look absolutely amazing in their new fits
You can turn 1 of your headcanons into canon in any media. What do you choose?
Ahsoka can’t stand to look at Luke. She’ll never tell him this. It doesn’t make sense for her, a Jedi, to resent him. He saved the galaxy. He brought back Vader. He’s Skyboy, he’s her not-really-nephew. And yes, she loves him and wishes the best for him. How could she not? Yet, every time she looks at him she can only think about how he saved Anakin. About how this stranger that her master never knew meant more than his apprentice, than his sister, than her. What did she do wrong to make Anakin shove her away? Was it her fault? What’s wrong with her. How can she make it better? But in the end it’s all the past, and anguish and anger will only get her so far.
So she smiles at him because yes, she loves him. How could she not? He saved Anakin. He saved Anakin because she couldn’t.
also the acolyte isnt cannon
definitely didn’t miss fox day. definitely knew that was a thing
See sometimes I cry about the fall of the Jedi order. and sometimes I wonder how the hell they even lasted that long.
Example one: the Zillo beast
Because this is the logical train of thought: there’s a giant monster who wants to kill everyone, let’s kill him or put him back in the hole.
But noooo. The Jedi council was smoking something good that day and thought: There’s a giant monster that wants to kill everyone. Maybe we should kill it… nahhhh let’s bring it back to the capital so we can maximize damages. Hopefully it eats the chancellor.
pretty sure that god created jewelry to screw over artists
chat I swear I’m not dead
Initial thoughts: Yelena looks like a goddess, Bob does not want to be here, Alexei and John are vibing together and Bucky’s hair is going through a mid-life crisis
hell yeah Marvel, thank you for finally putting out something that genuinely hypes me up
I love the clone wars trio bc I see them all as different commentaries on the Jedi of the time.
Obi Wan is what the Jedi were.
Anakin is what the Jedi preached against.
Ahsoka is what the Jedi should aspire to be.
Obi Wan had the best of intentions: he wanted to save Anakin, to save Satine, to save Ahsoka. But in the end he failed due to Sith scheming. He was set up to fail, wether it be his dead master or the intergalactic war he was forced to fight in. And in the end Anakin did fall from the light, Satine was killed in Maul's quest for revenge, and Ahsoka walked away. He was a well-intentioned man with a good heart who was ultimately set up to fail by the Sith.
Anakin too wanted safety for his loved ones, but he took it to far. Instead of prioritizing those people, their wants and needs, he prioritized the way they made him felt. Instead of selfless love, he loved selfishly, which is exactlaly what the Jedi are against. They're not against love, they're against attachment. Anakin couldn't let go of Ahsoka: it corroded his faith in the Jedi, sowed seeds of resentment. He couldn't accept that Padme or Obi Wan didn't agree with his vision, because if they don't make him feel good, then they no longer love him. Anakin was a kind boy twisted by the Sith and his misguided attachment to others.
Ahsoka falls into a similar category as Obi Wan, except for one detial. She walked away. She recognized that the Jedi were unintentionally loosing themselves in war. And even through she was a spectacular warrior, a talented commander, she recognized that it wasn't supposed to be her job. She was able to let go of her attachment to Anakin and the 501st. She was a product of her masters and friends, of Obi Wan, Anakin, Padme, and all the others who influenced her growth. And even in the end, when her world fell, she still acted with compassion and understanding, which is exactly what a Jedi should be. Despite her discomfort with the twisted meaning of the title, Ahsoka embodied the fundamental traits of a Jedi. Not flawless, but an empathetic peacekeeper capable of embracing love and rejecting attachment.
Idk if I'm articulating it right, but the general idea is there.
Lore dump for this new War Torn AU under the cut hehe
So the main premise of this au is that the Clone Wars never ended, which is why my working title of the War Torn AU, bc the galaxy is being torn by war.
Basically the prequels play out exactly like the movie, right up until the end of Revenge of the Sith, along with some background action during Clone Wars. Two main things change: anakin’s arc, and Five’s quest.
During the clone wars, instead of just running, Fives calls upon his ex-commander, Lady Tano. She can’t prevent his inevitable confrontation with Fox and Rex, but she can secretly prevent the bullet from lethally hitting him, effectively faking his death. Fives tells her about the control chips, and while she chooses not to directly involve herself, she does send him to Lux Bonterri, who decided to help work on a cure for the chip, or at least a way to loosen it’s hold (don’t come at me for the Lux thing, I just think that he should have more screen time and I haven’t watched CW in like two years. Ahsoka, disturbed by this information, goes to Bo Karan earlier than in the original timeline, and convinces her to allow Ahsoka to use Mandalorian resources for humanitarian efforts. I think that because she’s still struggling with her complicated relationship with war and fighting she’s originally be opposed to the idea of rejoining the war effort,. She would try to focus more on the peacekeeping role of the Jedi, even though she doesn’t think of herself as one.
Timeskip to around Season 7: Fives catches word of the bullshit on Scako Minor, and realizes that Echo is alive. He wants to contact Echo, but realizes that he’s not in a spot to do it without risking his ally’s efforts (btw they’ve pretty much developed the cure by now). So he contacts Ahsoka, who’s about to speak with the Jed about Maul and Manalore. He asks her to take him along, so that he has a chance of speaking with and persuading Rex. She agrees, and he also gets her to talk it through with Anakin. After their discussion, Ahsoka realizes the identity of the Sith controlling the senate.
She goes and tells Obi wan, and together they confront Anakin and convince him to not do anything rash, effectively holding back his dark side turn for now.
Meanwhile Fives confronts Rex and Echo (he didn’t join the Bad Batch), they get told the truth, and Fives shows them the chip-cure that all clones need to be exposed to. They have a huge speech in front of the 501st, who are convinced (not easily).
They have to go back to the plot, though, and Anakin is wrestling with his feelings the whole time whist saving the Chancellor. When he doesn’t kill Dooku it raises suspicion from Palpatine, but he doesn’t act on it for his master plan is almost complete. Ahsoka’s story is mostly the same, save for the speed of it. With the entirety of the 501st fighting with their whole hearts, Ahsoka, Rex, Fives, Echo, and Bo apprehend Maul, although Jesse is left in rough shape. Lux and his ‘rebel’ organization meet them on Mandalore and equip all of the 501st with th cure. They then take off and try to spread it as quickly as possible to the rest of the clone army.
Anakin, brash as ever, decides to confront Palpatine in lieu of the Jedi Masters, while Obi wan lets them know about the chips and the Sith. Palpatine plays with Anakin, but once he realizes that he’s been pushed towards the light, he becomes angry, and basically kidnaps Anakin. After that he enacts Order 66. Unfortunately for him the 501st managed to cure a good chunk of the Army thanks to Plot Holes. About of a 1/4 of all Jedi do die, though.
The Senate realizes that the war was not what they thought after the Jedi reveal most of the truth. Bail is elected to Chancellor, and Padme worries about her husband who’s currently being held by Darth Sidious. The facade of the ‘separatists’ falls away and is revealed to the Empire, looking to take over the galaxy. In response the Republic begins using civilian soldiers, the Jedi fighting to retain control over the Clone Army (for fear of generals like Pong Krell taking over) but resolving to fix the issues and darkness within their temple first.
After this I’m not sure exactly what happens, but I do know a few things
Anakin has to struggle with his darkness and the manipulation/torture Palpatine puts him through while being captured.
Ahsoka rejoins the Jedi and leads the Reformation movement, fighting to alter their code into one that better represents the core values of the Jedi
She also accepts the title of General, leading the 501st in Anakin’s absence, and becoming a renowned leader/fighter/peacekeeper
Obi wan is promoted to Grand Master and has to struggle with the influence of power and how he wasn’t able to recognize the influence of the Sith
The clones grapple with the implications of their chips and their place in a world with dwindling need for them
Padme must raise her children and fight for the rights of all Republic soldiers.
Anakin turns into a Winter Soldier-esque weapon for the Empire??
Skywalker twin bullshit
This is all subject to change and shamelessly fan service (it’s me, I’m the fan), so I’ll stop yapping now and start hyperfixating about this AU
Design sheet for my new Star Wars AU :)
I’ll rb with the details, but can we just appreciate my girl for a sec?
yes I know that by posting wips you are supposed to eventually show to finished piece
yes I posted that wip three months ago and haven’t finished it don’t judge me
Ahsoka and Jecki would totally be besties, nothing can change my mind, they are meant for each other (platonically)
Umm holy shit?? Just saw Deadpool 3 and… wow. Hello new hyperfixation
Headcannon that the second Cass saw Jason she was just immediately like… that is my baby brother. And Jason pretends to be really annoyed by this, he’s like a foot taller than her and (probably) older. But Cass doesn’t care and keeps finding ways to take care of him. She’ll leave notes in his safe houses reminding him to sleep or eat, and he can never figure out how she’s getting in. She’ll carry him with unnatural strength whenever he’s injured. And even though he pretends to be annoyed by it, Jason loves his baby sister just as much
baby!Soka the joy of my life.

Danny from Teen Wolf really is the pinnacle of chill, gay dude who wants no part in the crazy bullshit all his friends get up to and actually manages to stay out of it. Bonus points for surviving 4+ seasons in a town where murders are about as common as speeding tickets.
I can’t be the only person who’s art style depends on the phase of the moon.
Unreliable narrator except they’re not unreliable they’re straight up lying about everything and the other narrator has to keep correcting them.
Narrator 1: I’m telling you, they’re alive. It was just a little burn.
Narrator 2: They are not, in fact, alive. They jumped into an erupting volcano.
you know you’re a real artist when you have 40+ pieces in your ‘unfinished’ folder
Just finished S1 of Supernatural and I’d give it a 7/10.
I personally thought the plot was a little slow, right up until the end, although I did like the sort of cop-show style where each episode is a new mystery. Loved the characters, they were super fun, kinda wish there were more consistent ones bc while I love Sam and Dean I do kinda want to see different people. The ending though! I literally gasped when the Impala got hit. Screw cliffhangers.
Overall, super fun, and while it wasn’t Oscar level, I’d definitely recommend (it’s been out for ten years tbh I don’t know how I haven’t watched it yet) Can’t wait to binge the next season!
