Your gateway to endless inspiration
Most horrifying thing I experienced today is that when I looked up from doing my Computer Science worksheet, I saw a picture of Nick Wilde on my computer screen. The culprit is my friend who has been waiting 10 minutes for someone to take notice of it
OMFG
AFTER WAITING ALMOST 8 YEAR IT'S HERE
... welp guess i got a fandom I'm jumping back into now
I hope Disney doesn't mess this one upđ
It was pointed out to me that I sure wasnât making life easy on anyone that might feel inclined to translate my little comic to another language. Since I went bananas with the bubble-less dialogue in the last update, hereâs some translator-friendly edits for you fragrant and wonderful people out there!
Do let me know if you post any translated versions of my comic online or here on tumblr, and Iâll reblog it here!
EDIT: Now with 90% less THUMP
Chapter 8 END.Â
Well, the storyâs pretty much complete now. Did it turn out how you anticipated? There is just one more update to wrap things up with a short epilogue, for next update. Iâll make a longer oh-god-is-it-really-finished type post then.
Have you enjoyed the series so far? Maybe you should consider buying me a coffee? I promise you that youâd be making the world just a little better if you do. Who knows, maybe Iâll do something special for my donors at the end!
I will never ever draw a rabbit family event EVER AGAIN. Oh, and full disclosure: As any TRUE Zootopia aficionado will immediately recognize, I very obviously traced the first panel of the last page from the concept art by Matthias Lechner. Bit of a nasty habit that.Â

The sealed letter makes a return! Iâm sure all of you thought THAT was going to be significant, right? Surely thereâs nothing else in this scene that can be cause for anticipation!Â
Sorry for being a bit delayed with this, I meant to have them both finished last night but but I underestimated how much time it takes to draw 35+ bunnies in a single panel. Anyway, now I have rabbit-shaped holes burned into my retinas, and I havenât even seen the sun today!
Buy me a coffee? This might be one of your last chances!

In my headcanon, âRussetâ is the âSmithâ of foxes.
To those that totally called it, pat yourself on the back. For those that called it but thought it would never happen since itâd be too anticlimatic, Iâm so sorry!
Buy me a coffee? Itâd really make a difference!
EDIT: Fixed my embarrassing faux paw, Anya is 100% woman I swear. Thank you DAME!

Chapter VII: Bad Animal, pt. 1
And weâre back, with all of ONE page after a two-week hiatus. Finally we get to the meat of the story! Weâll really be biting into it now, almost makes your mouth water, doesnât it? Well youâre just going to make do with this tiny morsel, think of it as an apetizer. Iâll spare you my excuses but I really did want to have more pages up⌠but for what itâs worth hopefully Iâll have bigger updates for the next few weeks.
Go read Red Rabbits, and while youâre over there drop TS a line and nag him to write up the sequel for chrissakes.
EDIT: Fixed a couple of minor oversights and tweaked the colors.Â
Buy me a coffee?

Hey everyone, happy weekend! While I clearly have to up my game if I want to generate Borba-tier discussion, I hope youâll enjoy this weekâs pages of our own abloobloo bun story. Just these two pages this week, they were pretty complex to draw. Iâve also gone and made an official WutB imgur album for reading the entire series all in one place without having to go on sadpanda or mess around on freaking tumblr:Â http://imgur.com/a/RTBm0
Hey! You guys are aware that Water under the Burrows is the comic sequel to Water under the Bridge, but you donât have to go read it because itâs now available as an audiobook!!
If you think sleep is a waste of time, and would like that I spend more hours everyday working on this little story then please do consider doing your part to keep me caffeinated by clicking this link!
EDIT: Fixed some broken links, thanks to those that pointed that out!
Finally we get to some conflict! Nothingâs quite so dull as watching characters mill around in a supporting environment of secure bucolic idyll, amirite?
Thatâs it for chapter 3, hope you enjoy it so far! I canât say for sure when the next update will be as Iâve got a trip coming up next week. Iâll endeavor to keep the wait as short as possible!

Nothing says âreal webcomicâ like a sketchy updating schedule, right? I hope the next one will be forthcoming more quickly.
Say hello to the latest OC of the series! Yes, itâs Nickâs 90s Patterned Shirt!
Water under the Burrows is the comic sequel to Water under the Bridge, go read it if you havenât already!
They say that persistence of identity is only possible through the perception we have of continuity of consciousness. One common criticism of this view is that, if it were the case, we would have no way of knowing whether are the same person waking up as we were going to sleepâŚ
With that in mind, please consider doing your part to keep me perpetually stimulated by clicking this link!
A big THANK YOU to those that already donated! You know who you are, and I drink to your health every morning! And also when I have coffee!
AKAÂ âthe meme pageâ. I donât always get on meme bandwagons, but when I do, I do it like 2 months late.
Yes @pyrophoricitee this was my plan all along.Â

Small update this time around! The plan is to do the title page of each chapter in color but the majority in simple monochrome.
The problem with colors is that I obsessively hammer my face against the color wheel until I randomly generate a good color scheme, which probably isnât the fastest way to go about it. The next update should be bigger with a few pages at least.
Water under the Burrows is the comic sequel to Water under the Bridge, give it a read if you havenât already!
If you think sleep is a waste of time, and would like that I spend more hours everyday drawing comics about talking animals, please do consider doing your part to keep me caffeinated by clicking this link!Â
Thank you so much for those that already donated!
Finally, the first chapter of this project is ready for posting! Iâm very pleased to present to you Water under the Burrows chapter 1: Welcome Home! Enjoy!
If itâs hard to read, remember you can see them in full size by right-clicking the image and picking âopen in new tabâ.
This whole story is quite a departure from my previous undertaking, not in the least because this time, I have a script writer telling me what to do! I wonât be flooding your dash with waves of updates of this size unfortunately, itâll be more of a trickle but I hope to make weekly or biweekly updates, of a few pages at a time. Itâs rather a long story, I estimate itâll take me about 3 months to post the entire thing!
The more attentive among you might recall my obnoxious gushings from last year? Well, this story is the sequel to WriteAnonâs Zootopia fanfic, Water under the Bridge. Itâs our take on the ever-popular âWildehopps goes to Bunnyburrowâ scenario, when newly-couple Nick and Judy can take a break from saving the city and instead tackle something really scary, meeting the parents!
Donât worry, weâve worked very hard to make this story accessible to anyone that havenât read the original fic, but I still maintain that the story is well worth the read!
In other news, Iâve had some people ask me if I plan to make a Patreon. I donât, BUT Iâve decided to make a tip jar! If you think sleep is a waste of my time and would much rather I spend more hours per day drawing comics about talking animals, please do consider lessening the amount of thirst in the world by clicking the button at the top of my page OR this link!
For those of you that are curious, weâre referencing July Talk, with their track The Garden in the first few panels!
âRed paws aâknocking, honeyed words aâtalking. Bunnyâs in the sack, a knife in her back. Shut the doors and check the locks. Here comes the big bad fox.â â An old rabbit nursery rhyme.Â
Another fanfic that Iâm really excited about is Flipside_Remixâ Wildeâs Card. Itâs an interesting premise where Nick had already been a cop for years before Judy joins the force. Thereâs only two chapters up at present but theyâre real meaty, and an absolute delight to read. Go check them out!
Nick in red shirt from the concept art⌠itâs reallyâŚI meanâŚsomething.
â"Youâre a menace,â said the bunny.
âYou love it.â
âI hate you."â

Got a request to draw the ending scene of my fanfiction 10-97, so here it is! Loosely referenced from the exterior of Judyâs apartment in the âHomesick Hoppsâ deleted scene.
If you didnât read it before because my badly-worded summary made it sound like Judy was dead, please do check it out! Sheâs alive, and they might kiss???

âSo⌠are you okay, sweetheart?â
âWhat?â Judy turned to him, puzzlement all over her cute face. âWhy are you asking me that?â
âBecause youâre the one whoââ Nick cleared his throat. Well, that wasnât exactly the wisest of the approaches, after all. âBecause you still look⌠afflicted.â
Judy curved her eyebrows. Puzzlement was making way for a definitely less calm emotion. âNick, itâs not me who has been kicked out from the mission. Itâs not me who should be afflicted, you know?â
âBut, you areâ quietly replied Nick. âYou are. Thatâs whyââ
âNoâ she abruptly interrupted him, âDonât. Say. That. You already said plenty, Nick.â
âYou donât know what I was about to say now.â
âI do. Because I know you.â
âYou donâtâ he was about to say. But Judy couldnât possibly understand the true meaning of that sentence, so there was no point in saying it. âJust because you know me, it doesnât mean you can read my mind, Carrots.â
Judy pouted, and his heart beated a little faster for a moment. âFine then. What do you want to say?â
âThat Iâm worried about you.â
She heavily sighed. âSee, I knew that.â
âIâm worried because I donât want you to participate to the mission like thisâ he explained. âI already told you that itâs not a big deal at all. I even said that I wouldnât even mindâŚâ
âYes, yes, I donât have Alzheimer yet so donât say it again.â Judy crossed her arms on the chest and turned her back.
â⌠Getting fired, if that would meanââ
âNick!â Judy almost yelled his name, but stubbornly kept looking outside the window. âI fell for it once, but the same trick wonât work on me again.â
âThatâs why youâre pretending to gaze at something behind the glass? To not fall for the same trick again?â The fox smirked, and he was sure Judy felt that he did. âBy the way, itâs not a trick. Thatâs just my pure, unconditioned love for you.â
âI donât believe you.â
âOh, you hurt me.â And she really did, to be honest. But could he really blame Judy for her disbelief? âWho was that backed down at the last moment? You, the wonder-fool Nick Wilde.â âBut seriously now, maybe itâs for the best that harecopter didnât choose me.â
â⌠The hell are you blabbing?â Judy was suddenly looking at him with piercing eyes. âSo, whatâs next? Would you like to lose your job, too?â
âJudy, sentences donât make sense if you donât listen to them until the end.â Nick stalked towards her, almost scared that she would have jumped back. But she didnât, and he felt somewhat relieved. And stupid. âYou know, at first⌠I didnât really like that hare.â
âUh, what a shock.â
âDonât make fun of meâ Nick protested. âI was just⌠itâs not easy for me to admit it, but I kind of⌠saw him as an enemy.â âAs a thief?â
âNick, even rocks already know that.â Judy shook her head, and an even so little smile appeared on her lips. âYou hate loneliness, donât you?â
â⌠Well, what can I say.â It was like being in kindergarten and confessing a little mischief to the teacher, one she already knew about. He shrugged with a smirk. âWho loves it?â
âBut you had no reason to fear loneliness againâ she said, her voice firm but also warm. âI wasnât going anywhere.â
âReason is not the only thing that moves us. Instinct does too, and instinct was what made me so⌠emotional.â He really blamed himself for his embarrassing behavior, not only because of how he had treated Judy, but also â and, maybe, most of all â because of how the acted toward Jack Savage. âI showed that hare open hostility since the first time I met him, basically. I mean, heâs not just some zebra-skin rabbit came out from some rabbit-hole, right? I had it coming, all of it. There was no room for complains in the first place. Nonetheless,â â âBecause you are just who you are, a small, dumb, beautiful creature and Iâm nowhere worth your affectionâ â âyou stood up for me; you honestly believed that I deserved the role and fought for your conviction. Even if it meant facing your number-one idol. There was no way I could permit such a nonsensical dispute, wouldnât you agree?â
âNickââ
âSilence, Carrots.â Nick gently put a paw over the mouth. âIâm not done yet.â He took a deep breath, then said: âJudy, thereâs something I want to tell you.â He paused, studying her reactions. Her purple eyes widened for a second and he felt her lips trying to mouth something under his paw. But Nick didnât let Judy say a thing â it was him who was under the spotlight, and not by accident, but because he made himself take that spot. He was sick of his own cowardice. âWhen the time comes, Iâll tell you a story. Whether you choose to listen to it or not⌠it makes no difference for me.â
Judy finally moved his paw aside. âWhat do you mean by that?â she inquired. âYouâre so vague, IâŚâ
Nick hugged her. He wasnât used to sudden embraces, he always found them rather awkward. But still, he hugged her. Judyâs head was just on his chest, at the same level of the heart. He couldnât conceal a thing. âAll in good time, Fluff. All in good time, âkay?â
â⌠I disagreeâ she grumpily murmured. âWholeheartedly.â
âFine by me, just disagree in silence.â
She then laughed on his shirt. âDumb foxâ Judy said, looking up to him. âBeing mysterious donât suit you, honestly.â
âHow dare youâ he replied. âIâll have you know that I won the âMost Mysterious Foxâ award last year.â
âMaybe you mean the âMost Annoying Foxâ award. I bet you has won it every year since you were twelve.â
âCheeky bunny, Iâll severely punish you for this affront!â
âOh? And how exactly are you planning to punish me, Mr. Wilde?â
âWellâŚâ Nick froze. It was the only way to prevent his brain from depicting weird scenarios⌠oh, no, they were appearing anywayâ âIâll eventually come up with something laterâ he managed to say without losing his cool. Then, he gently broke the embrace and gave her a stroke on the cheek. Judy was so precious to him, and yet⌠âTime to get back to work, Fluff.â
âYep, definitely.â Judy chuckled, looking a bit embarrassed. Maybe she was thinking of her punishment, tooâŚ? âShut that rotten brain of yours, man.â
âOh, and⌠thereâs one more thing.â Nick closed his eyes for a moment. He had no particular motive to say that, but even so⌠he felt like he had to. âDonât hold a grudge against Mr. Hare for what heâs done. Itâs not his fault, after all.â
At first, she looked confused; but then, a sly smile slowly appeared on her lips. âSo, now you respect him? Howâs that?â
â⌠I donât like the way youâre smirking, Judy.â
âMaybe I knowâ she said, ignoring his remark. âNick, is there any chance that you actually got a thing for rabbââ
âEnd of the discussion.â
âBut, Nick!â she posed like a melodramatic actress and recited: âSentences donât make sense if you donât listen to them until the end!â
âI hate you.â
âYouâre so thin-skinned, Mr. Wilde.â
âItâs not me whoâs thin-skinned, itâs you whoâs evil.â
âOh, câmon, there is nothing wrong with having one or two little, dirty secrets.â Judy nodded. âI wonât judge you, I promise.â
Nickâs ears were on damn fire. âIâm going to hunt you, Judith Hopps. To the ends of the earth.â Still, he offered her a courteous bow. âI hope itâll suffice as punishment for your sins.â
âThatâs if⌠you can actually catch me.â She winked, and Nick felt something burning in the pit of his stomach.
ââOh, Iâll catch you. If it is the last thing I do.â
