I had this dream that actually gave me a really good concept for new characters
Percival “Percy” Peridot Hudson is your average human. The only child of a divorced mother, Percy is a smart child who has buried himself in his studies ever since his parent’s divorce at a young age. He pushes everyone away, and has very few friends. The friends he does have, aren’t terribly close to him either.
This changes when his mother very suddenly remarries a mysterious bachelor and they must move to a new neighborhood.
Percy is yanked from his comfortable, mundane life in the suburbs and placed into a new school. A school that only has hybrids. Half humans, half elves, half fae, etcetera. Many mixed fantasy races roam this school. And Percy just became the first human in the school’s history.
Percy must go through his high school years in this very odd school, having to unlearn stereotypes and stigmas humans have about various species.
He makes actually close friends during this time. One of which is the half swamp fae, half vampire Turnip Foxglove Daisymount. He teaches Percy to relax and let go of his need to be perfect at everything. Percy teaches Turnip that normal is okay sometimes.
Percy is a trans male who uses he/him pronouns and Turnip is a demiboy who uses he/they pronouns.
The first bonus scene for the "Archeologist Merlin and Immortal Camelot" story has been posted on ao3! This is the first of three bonus scenes that will serve as the epilogue for the story! In this bonus scene, the noble Knights of the Round Table embark on a brave quest to find an elusive magical artifact for Merlin: the treasured "grant"! (And ignore any banks they rob along the way!)

To tell you the truth, I almost cried when I saw Percy in the new chapter!!!!
And oh my gosh! He's really starting to look his age!!!

How do you think lancelot was for the past two years after percival death? What do you think his reaction will be once percival wakes up?
Firstly, I would like to apologise for taking so long to reply!
Secondly, I've had thoughts about Lance over the last two years. The first thing that came to mind was that he was probably grieving for Percival, but I dismissed that as Lancelot wouldn't have sat idly by for that long (I guess). So I'm now of the opinion that he's probably looking for Gwen, if he hasn't found her already. She said he would visit her often in the future, but now how is that future that Guinevere was talking about happening.
About Percy, I've imagined the scene of their meeting many times and it invariably ends with Lancelot weepingly hugging his younger brother dear friend while he pities him, saying he missed him too....
Omg you were really on point! Lancelot did cry :'< and cried alone...
I'm both satisfied because it shows how he cared for Percy, and sad because for HIM to cry over Percy, his death must have hit Lancelot soooo hard T_T
I mean look, took what, about two years avoiding Benwick? He refused to go home without Jericho, and even when he found her he still didn't want to go back. Now, only after Percy was gone he did... just. Ouch.
Another thing is, i expected him to be furious over everything, like how he executed Mortlach! But he was grieving and this hurts more wtff ;-; anyway that's also good, to show his vulnerable and younger side. After all he was still 16, even though he was so much much mature than most.
Now idk what to expect for 18-years-old Lance. People said he might go to the dark side now because of Guinevere's vision, but if the dark side means siding with Arthur that would be just so confusing since he's indirectly the reason of what happened to Percy right?!
Firstly, I would like to apologise for the long reply, dear anonymous.
Secondly, I like Lance's behaviour very much too. He killed Mortlach in a rage, but we don't forget that Lancelot is just a child! He acted just like a normal teenager, went home, locked himself in his room and cried for his dead friend. In fact, though I've said it many times, Percy held a special place in his heart. He was his best friend. And the fact that Lancelot only came home because of his friend's death is both sweet and sad.
If I remember correctly, Lance would step into the king's service at the age of 23. And it actually amazes me that some people are totally against this king being Arthur. If that's the case, it's the most logical outcome for me, simply because in the myths (on which 4kota and SDS in particular are based) Lancelot was Arthur's best knight and close friend. So, if Lance becomes Arthur's knight, I won't mind, on the contrary I'll be interested in how it all turns out.
Ohhhh no!😭 Poor Lance, it's not your fault!

Just recently I was abstracting this point on my blog. I think that might be the answer for you, dear anonymous. And for me in particular.
I'd like to introduce you to 4kota after a 4 year timeskip, in my opinion of course. Maybe Lance will have a slightly different hairstyle. And I wanted to do Percy like the cover of one of the previous chapters.

It's so sad! Percy blessed himself with everything after Mortlach's words, and then the spirit of life left Percy's body, leaving a corpse....
I'm sobbing like the last bitch right now! 😭😭
So here Percival is a prince, just like in the King Arthur mythos. There he was born and raised in Wales, probably in the manga his home kingdom was this place...

Wait a minute. Ironside knew that Percy the Immortal wanted to salt Diodra's soul into his body. But then why did he seriously think he killed Percival in the first chapter? 🤔
Now I can see where the phrase "Vaz Zigra" comes from.
I remember when I read the manga, that moment was really good. Just knowing Percy now, he might even help an enemy, but back then it was cute!
And I left the sweet stuff for last!

I also want to say that these moments were not in the manga, and I was very pleased that such a thing was added in the anime. Because it shows even more how much Grandpa Percy's love for him! 😭 .
. Also I would like to point out that Percy lived alone on God's finger for a few days, which again was not shown in the manga. And I think you've realised by now that this also made me cry…..
A bit of my thoughts on the first episode of 4kota.
When I read the first chapter of the 4kota manga, I cried like the last bitch 😭 And now when I watched the first episode, I had time to cry again😥😢!
I think it's a great way to show what Percy has learnt from his training.
And I also want to know the whole truth about Percival soon....
We were actually given enough information about Percy, but at the same time there are still a lot of questions left.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Percy gets his memories back and I'm curious to see how he acts afterwards!
I know we don't have many panels, but I so love the fact that you had Lancelot holding Percy in his arms while they were shaking!
I adore their relationship! 😭😭 Big brother and little brother!
