Just in case ICE does approach or come to you remember your RIGHTS

Remember your 4th and 5th rights

4th right; search and seizure: You have the right to NOT be searched.

5th right; remain silent: You have the right to NOT self incriminate and the RIGHT to remain silent.

If ICE does approach do not GIVE them ANYTHING. do not SPEAK to them. And remember you have the RIGHT to get a LAWYER.

Please ask them if you are DETAINED. If no ask AM I FREE TO GO? If they say you are free leave CALMLY

I was given a card on what to do by a trusted advisor. I remade a version with the exact words fold it to remember your rights

•DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS from a immigration agent if they try to talk to you. You have the right to remain silent.

•DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING without first speaking to a lawyer. You have the right to speak with a lawyer

•if you are outside your home ask the agent if you are free to leave and if they say yes, leave calmly

•GIVE THE CARD TO THE AGENT. If you are inside your home show the card through the window or slide it under the door.

I don’t think I have ever been this terrified. I don’t know what I’m going to do right now. I still genuinely can’t believe that he won. I have been holding back tears all day. I hope this can get better but honestly there isn’t much hope. I hope everyone will be safe and please just try to hang on.
