To be absolutely honest this was the idea for the last one, I just like how it turned out featuring all the slugcats and yes.Yes I did add Artificer's pups, I wanted to make a nod to Saint of couse so his signature eyes are kinda there!

Some interactions between Artificer, Survivor and Monk!
The surprise adoption of these strange "pups" went pretty smoothly in Artificer's eyes, but for the almost completely mature siblings... It was a confusing time.
My Arti is very large, almost double the size of average scugs! Necessary for taking down prey. The vanilla siblings on the other hand are still adolescents, and won't grow past the height of her chest.
i honestly feel like it's a shame that Artificer's backstory was told through gameplay cutscenes rather than artwork. i mean the gameplay scenes weren't bad or anything, but the intro cutscene and dream sequences that Survivor/Monk got had such pretty art and were really impactful! so i tried to do it myself :D
(i wish every slugcat got illustrated dreams - imagine if we got to see Hunter and Spearmaster have dreams about NSH and Suns. or if we got to see Rivulet's dreams where they're just swimming or eating bubble fruit XD. and Saint could have lore cool lore stuff! it could really help characterize each scug)

Shoutout to grieving mothers with questionable morals, gotta be one of my favorite genders (Mapleshade also falls into this category but I don’t like warriors anymore so L)

Artificer found Enot sleeping in an open Field and after Killing a Red Lizard and scaring off 3 Vultures, he decides to stay with it and make sure neither the Eggs or They get harmed. Arti just has this need to protect any Pups or other Babies he sees after what happened
Sometimes they need a little Extra Motivation.
Reposting more of my art here. Here's one of the Rotten Ships, this one obviously being with Artificer, he even had Pups with Cross (don't ask how). Taking name suggestions for the little Rot Pups btw
