I come back to this kind of comic style because I fell like it’s more for me and I can express a little better. I’ll try to improve with each drawing

first day skateboarding this year and omfg i've missed it T^T
honestly i thought i was gonna be super out of it but i picked up basically where i left off? skating around was fine and i worked on some backside reverts again askjandjan i'm so happy
school has been burning me tf out but heres these sick ass pants n scenery pics from a bit ago
got tired early today but didn't wanna quit just yet so i tried skating regular (i usually skate goofy) and let me tell you it was HUMBLING. really made me question my confidence for a minute 😭
stopped weird on my board the other day and now my hip hurts like hell when i move it 😭
chat i finally fumbled...
okay but other than that todays skate sesh was so good like i can all the sudden feel and see myself improving and abuywegfyuarb its so cool ^^

update: didn't skate yesterday as wednesdays are typically my rest days but! the skate place i usually go to was unavailable (T^T) so me and my sister drove around for more or less two hours looking for places to go... by then we just decided to find a school parking lot so we went to the high school and it was pretty decent for like, 15 minutes before sooo many cars started pullling in (for an open house we forgot about) but by then we were being summoned back for dinner so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ all in all it wasn't too bad and we blasted hamilton the whole drive so ^^

some background:
-i got my first (and current) skateboard september 1st (2024)
-ive been skating for about a month
-i (try to) practice for an hour every day after school
right now im working on endurance, stronger/faster pushes, and learning power slides. if you have any advice/tips they're always welcome and if you have any questions ill try my best to answer!

It's moments like this that make me so cocky because I thought "hey it'd be cool if I drew something" and then I just drew that??? ¿?
And I compare it to this brainless doodling when I can't draw more than a hecking damn square and I'm like. I'm a. I'm a genius, I'm so good at drawing. I could draw the world. I could own it, shiiiiiit bro I'm so good I wish I were me
And then the next time I'm drawing, the leg I'm trying to attach to a body keeps looking like it's backwards and I'm reminded again of my place and that there's always progress to be made.
I just love smooth brain days like this

Have you ever seen marine life as wicked as this in the aquarium? Nah I didn't think so! I'll be selling these as stickers locally in the next week, more information on that later!
