love cheery child & grumpy old person family dynamics. honestly there’s smth so caring abt the grandparent having a lot of lived experience compared to the child having virtually none, and them both sharing their own kind of wisdom with the other
i’ve been thinking abt it a lot since writing the last chapter of my jjk fic Little Troubles (<- ao3 link here for those who are curious) bc right now it’s really just about Yuuji and his grandpa (and sukuna being forced along for the ride lol)

The Puzzler Bunch- OC Art!
I drew this fun group in my sketchbook one day and decided to build a story around them. Their names are Harold (Harry), Alice and Marissa, they're 10 years old and are in their 5th year of primary school. They're known for their love of solving puzzles. Harry likes word puzzles, Alice, number and math puzzles and Marissa prefers mechanical (physical) puzzles.
Everyone calls them the Puzzler Bunch, but this name is pending. I think I can come up with something better.
So, my business class has a group chat, and we have like a fake business, so we were all going through names and positions and this one dude just pops up with, I'm not supposed to be here... The person who made the gc can't delete him bc she's out, so what do the morons across from me do? They call him. Also, he may have been drunk/high. Just very funny and random

SOOO... I feel like I'm an awful writer
Well, I'm not really sure where to start this. I'm a teenager. And I wrote a book. I'm getting it published soon. And I have an awful feeling that it's nothing but garbage. I did the best I could, I reviewed it a hundred times, I've rewritten and thought about stuff over and over again, but I still feel like it's no good. Without giving any spoilers, it's a slice of life book about 14-year-old girl in the eighth grade, with 6 out of 12 chapters taking place in school. Her and her parents have moved out of their old neighborhood 7 months before the book starts.
I want to make this a trilogy. I technically started this book series in 4th or 5th Grade, and I made a lot of google slides and I didn't really get better until a few months ago, when my dad got me a publisher through one of his former coworkers.
I really haven't wanted to admit it, but I'm pretty nervous about what the reception will be like. I feel like I'm just gonna get torn apart by critics, reviewers, and everyday book lovers across the nation or something.

"Illusion". I was thinking about their daily lives, and I had an awesome idea (maybe no, but I like it).
Kenyan was in the forest with Hiélo, and he said something that made her laugh for real. Everything is normal so far. What changed is that Sylris was nearby, saw it, and took a picture of her (if they have magic, they have a way to take pictures).
Some days later, Kenyan found an enormous poster of her in the castle. All the servants thought she was amazing on it, so different from her usual self! However, Kenyan considered it a personal mocking, because it was a reminder of everything she wasn't anymore. Sylris didn't want to take it off, but she threatened to burn down the poster and the castle if he didn't, so he eventually gave up.
...and took it to his room. They had an agreement not to mess up each other's rooms, so Kenyan couldn't destroy the poster while it was there. Now she's trying to convince him to take that away, because it's too shameful to "deal" with Sylris while a happier version of her is judging her actions. You try to guess what actions, based on their appearance.
"You're insufferable."
"And you're so pretty when smiling, dear <3"
"Take this down."
"No, it was expensive, and a rare moment."
"I wasn't smiling for your picture, Sylris."
"What makes it all better! It means your dog is serving his purpose."
"Don't call him a dog!"
