Life Cycle of a Peridot

Hi, so there's my Tiny Gems AU again. I love these little guys so much. Think of them as a mix between plant and insect (inspired by ants and leaf sheep. If you don't know what a Leaf Sheep is I implore you to search it now! :D)

This is kind of a gemling Au but not really since gems still emerge from walls and the diamond are the only ones with essence to make them (like queen bees) Young Gems need to eat materials that have minerals related to their gem, but after that they only need sunlight to live. Gems are still immortal but commonly fall prey to falling boulders and large organics. They just get gobbled up. (Our Peridot is spoiled though, don't worry about her.)

So I’ve been thinking… as you do.

When Steven dies (if I guess) what will happen to the gem?

Now I know gems can’t die, but humans can certainly die. Since Steven is half human and half gem, I have a theory, and I will try my best to make it an au and do comics (hopefully) so,, pls tell me if it’s good because I’ll backfire on myself and not do it because I will think it’s not good.

Ok.

Here it goes.

Right so if the human half of Steven dies, the gem half will still be alive, because gems can’t die from old age. which means he will have to reform because, duh, gems reform?

But humans can’t.

Meaning half of Steven will be alive. Now I know that human Steven cannot survive on his own as we see when white diamond takes his gem out,

But guess who does survive?

Who saves human Steven?

Who is still capable of carrying human Steven and not dying? still alive on his own.

Steven. (Lol, pink Steven/the gem half of Steven)

Which means, when the human half of Steven eventually dies, we will be left with the gem half.

Now maybe you think that rose will reform, but the gem half of Steven told us that “she’s, GONEEEEEEE”

And if you really think about it, it’s all Steven. Pink Steven and human Steven make up 1 whole Steven.

There is no room for rose.

She’s actually gone.

Which concludes my theory that: when Steven dies, his gem will reform into a gem version of Steven, it’s a rose quartz gem so maybe I’ll name him ‘Steven quartz’ (yes I know, Steven’s full name is Steven quartz universe, but the universe is the human part, from Greg, the part that has died, so it’s just Steven quartz now)

Steven quartz should have the memories of Steven right? The gem has been there throughout his whole life.,,, but

If that’s true then what about rose?

Dose he have roses memory too? He was there..

ANYWAYS, that’s a rap, the more I think about it, the more I wanna make the au a comic :D
