The Date a Cryptid Project has been approved!!!
I'm really excited to work on this game! I will try my best to post and notify you all when something's happening!
In the mean time I can give you some info about what the game will be about:
* the game will be PG-13 and it's for an assignment so there will be will be no gore, suggestive or explicit material
* the game will be some what of a parody of dating simulators but don't worry you still can romance your monsters ❤
* there are four planned routes but hopefully I will be able to add more after the demo.
*the demo will come out near the end of feburary so keep your eyes peeled
Unfortunately I can not post more professional art of the game because my computer screen is busted, but in the mean i hope you enjoy this silly concept art

here to let you know that the creature of your username is a Native American monster whose name is not meant to be said or it gives it power and/or evokes it. most Native Americans are of the opinion that it shouldn't be used. furthermore, it is not a forest deer beast, there are no records of it resembling anything like that, white people just made that up out of nowhere, so cool deer beasts are totally okay to use, you just don't call them by that name
I know very well what my user name is. This is the internet. If some people don't like the fact that this is my username that's fine. It's really the first thing that came to mind when I thought of what username I should use. Along with 'Anonymous-Shoggoth' I may change it to that. I really just thought the folklore was cool, but I see where you are coming from.

the washington's have the saddest endings and i do not appreciate it. beth sees her sister get humiliated, so she runs after her in the snowy mountains, falls off a cliff with her, and dies. hannah gets humiliated, so she runs out of the cabin, falls off a cliff with her sister and surprisingly doesn’t die. she then had to stay trapped in the mines with her dead sister's body, decided to bury her, but then EATS HER because it had been a month of her being stuck in there and chose not to starve to death. which leads to her turning into a wendigo. josh having lost his two sisters over a stupid prank brings everyone back to the mountain to have some type of closure, while going through withdrawals, and as a result is either killed by handigo or is taken by her to become a wendigo himself. and only in the remake, made TEN YEARS LATER, do they give josh the chance to actually survive like the others. not to mention that the parents will have now lost all of their children. the fact none of them get a happy ending makes me so angry. i need to lie down
