Say what you want to say about tsats, but at the end of the day the book's demographic is catered towards 10 to 14 year olds. So everyone saying it's ooc or cringe and has its flaws, yes it's true, but this is a book about two 15 year olds written for literal children, so next time you critique this book without thought just think of how your 12 year old self would've reacted because I know my younger, queer-literature-deprived ass would've eaten this content up without a second thought and the chances are you would've too. Just food for thought before you have a go at a kids book some more.

I am aware this is the first post on my new account, but. This is just a random post, I just finished the book. The sun is a star, and I have some things to say. I did like it but I feel like it wasn’t as good as it could’ve been you could tell two people wrote it, and while it was refreshing to have a different writing style inside of a rick riorden book with the same characters, I do feel like it was kind of not the best or at least what it could’ve been. The concept was good, but I feel like the storyline didn’t really flow all that well, although that is partly my fault because I read the first part of it in bulk a while ago, and recently have been reading every once in a while, and just a couple minutes ago, finish it but even with that I feel like it doesn’t flow that well. And yes, Will and Nico are very cute in the book. I feel like they should have expanded more on Nico’s past and maybe they could’ve had a big fight about it and it all comes out and it could’ve been way more dramatic, and way more convincing.  also, I feel like they could’ve done more with Hades and Nico’s, mom and sister in the book and at the very end where they rescue Bob from Nxy they felt very rushed. Overall, it is very good book and I did enjoy reading it but I feel like it could’ve done more.

Nico strikes me as an age regressor, I feel like he’d be ashamed about it (even thought he shouldn’t be) so the few things that he’d have to help him regress would definitely be very subtle things. I bet one day Will would find out and then become his caregiver

A very conflicting night

Warning there may be spelling mistakes and this is my first time writing Soangelo
Nico's eyes darted around, where in all hades was he. Nico really wasn't in the mood to look all over camp for Will Solace
He hadn't been at the Infirmary or at the Apollo's cabin not even at camp fire with the rest of the his cabin
Solace had been getting on his nerves all day, Nico had lost his cool and gotten angry
But now he was scared, scared Will might hate him. That he might push him away, It was slliy that he liked him in the first place
A child of the underworld liking a child of Apollo was ridiculous, Will is all happy good luck and Nico......Nico isn't like that at all
He's dark and bitter, an outcast at best
Nico closed his eyes, where would a son of Apollo go when upset 'Somewhere where the sun is shining perhaps' Nico thought
He opened his eyes and looked around for somewhere sunny. The sun was already going down, he’d have to be fast
By the gods how could he not have thought of that
Nico ran untill his feet burned he was too far away, he wouldn’t make it
Will would be gone by the time he got there, Will would have gone back to his cabin.
That thought made Nico stop in his tracks. His eyes burned, he turned around and walked back to his cabin. Will wouldn’t want to see him efter what he said, Why would he.
Nico crossed a line, he wanted to run. To run away for everyone, he didn’t want anyone to see him. He forced himself to keep walking as tears swammed his eyes
He couldn’t cry he was still outside, his feelings had to wait untill he was alone. If anyone saw him like this they’d probably start laughing

No they was still a long way to his cabin ‘Don’t think about it’ Nico thought. By the time Nico was infort of the door the sky was almost Black, he quickly went inside and threw himself on to his bed
Why did he say that, he should have stayed quite. It was just joke, a really bad joke that made him uncomfortable. Nico grab his journal and pick up a pen
Another one of his Father’s ‘i want to know my son’ gifts, it was a quite werid exchange. Hades had appeared by his bedside about a week ago, given him a leather bound book and 5 pens then just left
It almost made Nico laugh, his father hadn’t really said anything but that was fine. It was a bitter sweet gift, a tear fell on the page. When he had open it, it had landed on his last entry

There was still 2 Hours untill curfew, he could leave right now, shadow travel never have to see Will again never have to see anyone from Camp half blood again, just walk though a city alone or go back to the underworld stay at his Father’s Palace, Hades wouldn’t turn him away

No he couldn’t run away again, he couldn’t run away from his friends. He had to stay and talk with Will, apologize
Nico almost dropped his book as someone loudly Knocked on the door, he quickly shoved it under his covers and wipped away his tears
Nico steadied his voice, maybe it was just Percy wanting to check in “Come in”
Will Solace slipped inside a frown formning as he closed the door “What are doing here?” Nico couldn’t meet Will’s eyes
“wow, what a wellcome” Will sounded hurt
Nico paniced, he had hurt him....how could he fix that “sorry” Nico managed his voice growing weaker as stared at the floor
“Nico.....” Will’s voice was gently this time “Are you okay?” Nico haddn’t realisted he was crying, he had been so wrapped up in thinking about how to fix this
“I’m fine” Nico huffed wipping his tears away still refussing to meet Will’s eyes “What did you-” Nico was cut off guard as Will genlty pushed him against the headboard
“Talk about.......” Will straddled him without any hesitation, Will’s face went red he seemed to think he fucked op. He quickly moved sitting infort of Nico instead “sorry... i-i didn’t think”
“It’s okay” Nico muttered his own face turning red, the silence was unbearable
Nico opened his mouth to say something but Will beat him too it “Nico, about early. At the camp fire i mean, i shouldn’t have said that it...” Will took a shakey breath “It wasn’t okay, And i’m sorry”
Why in all Hades was Will apoloizing to him Nico should be the one apoloizing “W-What? No it was my fault, i...i shouldn’t have gotten angey. I’m sorry”
Will tensed “No Nico no, it wasn’t your fault. Really it wasn’t, i shouldn’t have said.....that”
Silence filled the room yet again, Nico wanted to reach out. To reach out and take Will’s hand, to cry and apologize for being an idiot and freaking out
Nico restrained himself, but Will didn’t. Nico’s heart skipped a beat as Will entangled they’re hands
“I hope you can fo-“ Nico crashed they’re lips together shutting Sun boy op very quickly, he just wanted Solace to be quite for a bit
Will didn’t seem to mind, he wrapped a hand around Nico’s hip. Nico smiled and scooted closer, Will pulled away slightly just enough to look in Nico’s eyes
“I-i shouldn’t-“ Will cradled his chin and pulled Nico in for another kiss
Will pulled him impossibly close, not seeming to remember why he came here whatever it was it could wait. He wanted to throw Nico down, to kiss him untill they were both breathless.
But Will pulled away reminding himself that he had a reason for coming to the Hades cabin and it was decidedly not to make out with Mister di Angelo. No matter how much he wanted to
Nico took a shakey breath his mind was racing, they kissed they had really kissed. Nico hopped his face wasn’t as red as it felt, he was rustled away from his thoughts as Will shook his shoulder “Earth to Nico, Can you hear me?”
“What, sorry where you saying somthing?” Nico stammered doing his best to ignore his throbbing heart beat, Will chuckled with a sad smile
“i said, i’m sorry about what i said at the camp fire, it wasn’t okay and i hope you can forgive me for that” Will moved his hands away from Nico
“I....i’m sorry too, i shouldn’t have freaked out like that. I-i do forgive you, and I hope you can forgive too” Nico barely got the words out as hot tears stream down his checks
“Oh Nico” Will flung his arms around the smaller boy hugging him as tightly as he could, Nico squeaked “shit sorry” Will quickly pulled way as he cussed himself for forgeting. By the gods he was idiot Nico doesn’t like being touched
Will’s eyes darted op, Nico was laughing. Nico di Angelo was laughing yet still in tears “You idiot! We literally kissed like a second ago, do you really think i care about hugging right now?” Nico continued laughing as leaned his head back against the Wall
Nico looked back down at Will smiling sweetly, Will threw himself into Nico’s lap giving him a quick kiss before hugging him yet again. “ Gods Nico how are this cold” Will rubbed Nico’s arm making him blush
Will looked around, how could the Hades cabin not have any blankets “Nico do you have any blankets?” Nico noded “Yeah, um fuck where did i put it” Will moved out of Nico’s lap accidentally knocking Nico’s covers off the bed
Nico’s eyes widened “Are you alright there?” Will asks a concerned look in his eyes “Yeah yeah” Nico quickly swiped the book along with the pen in one hand before putting it in his nighstand
Will raised an eyebrow “What was that?” He asked staring at the nightstand “Oh nothing” Nico said bentting down and pulling out a Blanket from under his bed, Will didn’t press
Will stared at the blanket, it was modeled after the nights sky. They quickly cuddled op, Will was a little hesitant at first he almost looked at Nico like a mindfield where was okay where wasn’t
Nico was hesitant too despite what they did minutes ago Nico’s eyes drifted Will’s slightly parted lips, so lovely and pink “Nico, um where. Um” Nico smiled knowingly genlty taking Will’s hands and putting them around his waist
Nico put his own hands in air, Will blushed he’ll have to tell me where to hold “Same place?” Nico asked, Will quickly noded laying his head against Nico’s chest. The two demigods quickly fell asleep
That was probably the most conflicting night of Nico’s life

So I had this thought. Mari Di Angelo is presented as a well off woman, probably uppar class. So when she dies, her money is left to her children. But they never end up claiming it.
So when Nico turns eighteen, he resurrects a lawyer and claims his long forgotten inheritance by claiming to be a descendant. But by now the inheritance has rose in value since the 1940’s. So Nico is actually really rich but nobody knows it.
Will solace finds out when Nico calmly buys him a top of the range apartment for the both of them to stay whilst at college.
The seven finds out when Nico starts funding their business and educations.
Nico, who walks around in beaten up converse, a ratty ripped pair of black jeans and a bomber jacket two sizes too big, is actually a millionaire. He buys a really expensive motorbike which he maintains himself and drives to his classes.
He funds quest expenses and buys the equipment for camp half blood and camp Jupiter. He sets up a charity to aid in finding new demigods.
Basically rich Nico being the adorable person he is.
Read the beginning of tsats and i am loving it. Saw a lot of negative reviews for the book. Mainly about how ooc the characters are.
I am sorry but they didn't feel ooc to me at all. May I remind you that nico became the emo, brooding, traumatised character after bianca died. Before that he was a very enthusiastic, bubbly, kind, sassy child that told the minotaur to shove figurines up his a*s. Frankly I saw that nico coming back in tsats and i am loving it. He's healing and after what he has been through I want him to be as cheesy as a boyfriend as he wants to be. Almost the entire time i was just awwwing because they are so cute. And that's what my boy deserves.
About will. I think much of the problem with him is that his characterization have mainly been fan made. And in toa and other books we have been seeing him from others pov. This is the first time that we have been inside his head. And i find it relatable that someone that's described as chill will have such a Pessimisitic inside voice.
Also he's a child of apollo in the exact opposite of his domain. He's been battling death ever since he came to camp, of course he is going to be scared. And it's hell, they are in hell, it's going to effect their personalities.
The fact that will, despite being scared of death, was still able to give a healthy relationship to our nico and actually make him happy is a great credit to him.
I did find the humour cheesy. But i haven't completed the book. I have to wait till then. But up till now it's the nico story that i have been waiting for. And that's all that matters.
I finished the Sun and the Star, and I really enjoyed it.
I was kinda nervous because I saw a lot of negative reviews, even before the book officially came out, but I really really enjoyed myself reading it, and would read it again.

some more Nico art! i just finished the tyrant's tomb and that means i'm almost done with all the main Percy Jackson series. i'm so exited for the sun and the star to come out and i gotta be ready! i'm a pretty quick reader but it's hard to make myself sit down and read so it's taken me a minute to get this far. (audio books have been my saving grace lol) i just felt like doodling and drawing Nico again. i took a break from fanart because i didn't have any inspiration, but i'm getting back into it i think. If anyone has any requests i'd be happy to draw them though it might make me a bit.

I also have recently been working a lot on my oc’s and have personality descriptions for all of them and story summaries for nearly all of them! All written down on a Word document too! If you want to hear more about a specific oc I’d love to talk about them.
In other news I have strep throat and am now taking antibiotics and can’t leave my house for the day. Yay. The antibiotics are working though and my tonsils are already significantly less swollen!
Final bit of stuff to talk about is I have seven new oc’s! And have begun coming up with their stories! They’re all from the same world except one but I keep them grouped together because the same person made the two different worlds I’ve abused them off of.
