Yuuji Itadori

Yuuji Itadori
Yuuji Itadori

you were wearing one of yuuji's hoodies, cuddling with him in his apartment as the both of you stayed up watching scary movies for halloween. it had become something the two of you always did once the time rolled around - binging holiday-focused movies. he'd get the movies, you'd get the snacks, and the two of you would binge movies together until you both succumbed to a comforting sleep, enveloped in each other's tired, yet warm embrace.

half-way through a random 80s slasher, you could feel your eyelids growing heavier by the second, your achy arms finding solace around your boyfriends midriff. he turned his head from the screen towards you, only to find your cheek pressed against his chest as you faced the screen, your eyes began to flutter shut. your face was adorable to him, the way your cheek was pressed against him made your mouth into a funny shape, a small grin painting his features. he raked his fingers through your locks, tilting his head slightly while taking in how your sleeping state. how you wrapped your arms around him so tightly yet barely even conscious, how big and baggy his hoodie was on you, fragile and peaceful you looked in his embrace. the movie was paid no mind to as yuuji too, started to drift off. with one hand, his fingers laced through your hair, the other gently caressing your soft cheek, playfully pinching before letting his muscles relax and resting with his love.

I am loathe to admit that a writer’s block is over lest the illness come back to haunt me, or worse, people come to expect something of me when usually all I can give is crumbs from my note’s app… I have finally finished a rengiyuu fanfiction i started working on like, a year and a half ago? Whenever Trump got shot at.

Whenever politics get insane, I always crawl back to yaoi as a comfort mechanism.

Anyway, hot and fresh rengiyuu soon to arrive in the tags of ao3 as soon as I can proofread it and get rid of my awful comma splices. IT MAY BE WEEKS.

Title is (subject to change) Abracadabra, and brief synopsis is Master Ubuyashiki sends the Water and Flame Hashira on a super special duo mission and they both bond over alcohol and their mutual imposter syndrome. (And gently bang)

I forgot to mention while my usual preference in music is rock/metal/alternative, anything weird af, Sabrina Carpenter fucking carried me through finishing this out. Idk shit about music so all I can say is it banged! But maybe don’t tell anyone normal that I used her music as motivation for gay porn.

I Am Loathe To Admit That A Writer’s Block Is Over Lest The Illness Come Back To Haunt Me, Or Worse,

It sucks to get to the part of the fic that you’re really excited to write and then get the most intense writers block ever. Like literally it’s my oc and Eugene starting to get close and yet I’m just starring at the page like

It Sucks To Get To The Part Of The Fic That You’re Really Excited To Write And Then Get The Most Intense

I try to write something, anything, but the words are only clear when I feel them press against my heart and mind. They become muffled when hands reach for them, they loose their shape.

Gonna hold onto this

Writing Weapons (1): Swords

Writing Weapons (1): Swords

The Thrusting Sword

Type of fight scene: entertaining, duels, non-lethal fights, non-gory deaths, swashbuckling adventure

Mostly used in: Europe, including Renaissance and Regency periods

Typical User: silm, male or female, good aerobic fitness

Main action: thrust, pierce, stab

Main motion: horizontal with the tip forward

Shape: straight, often thin, may be lightweight

Typical Injury: seeping blood, blood stains spreading

Strategy: target gaps in the armous, pierce a vital organ

Disadvantage: cannot slice through bone or armour

Examples: foil, epee, rapier, gladius

The Cleaving Sword

Type of fight scene: gritty, brutal, battles, cutting through armour

Typical user: tall brawny male with broad shulders and bulging biceps

Mostly used in: Medieval Europe

Main action: cleave, hack, chop, cut, split

Main motion: downwards

Shape: broad, straight, heavy, solid, sometime huge, sometimes need to be held in both hands, both sides sharpened

Typical Injury: severed large limbs

Strategy: hack off a leg, them decapitate; or split the skull

Disadvantage: too big to carry concealed, too heavy to carry in daily lifem too slow to draw for spontaneous action

Examples: Medieval greatsword, Scottish claymore, machete, falchion

The Slashing Sword

Type of fight scene: gritty or entertaining, executions, cavalry charge, on board a ship

Mostly used in: Asia, Middle East

Typical user: male (female is plausible), any body shape, Arab, Asian, mounted warrior, cavalryman, sailor, pirate

Main action: slash, cut, slice

Main motion: fluid, continuous, curving, eg.figure-eight

Shape: curved, often slender, extremely sharp on the outer edge

Typical Injury: severed limbs, lots of spurting blood

Strategy: first disable opponent's sword hand (cut it off or slice into tendons inside the elbow)

Disadvantage: unable to cut thorugh hard objects (e.g. metal armor)

Examples: scimitar, sabre, saif, shamshir, cutlass, katana

Blunders to Avoid:

Weapons performing what they shouldn't be able to do (e.g. a foil slashing metal armour)

Protagonists fighting with weapons for which they don't have the strength or build to handle

The hero carrying a huge sword all the time as if it's a wallet

Drawing a big sword form a sheath on the back (a physical impossiblity, unless your hero is a giant...)

Generic sword which can slash, stab, cleave, slash, block, pierce, thrust, whirl through the air, cut a few limbs, etc...as if that's plausible

So…. No chapter update today.

Despite best efforts, it’s just not ready and I’d rather hold on to it and give you guys something really good that I’m happy with than something blah that I throw out just to have it done.

Patience. The next update is coming this week and it will be a big one. 😉

I'm so gonna write this when my writers block is over!

Also, holy shit how do you think of all these awesome prompts?!

an SI employee complimented Peters shirt and got a raise the next day. another held the elevator for the kid and their project got approved within hours.

The employees as SI learn very quickly that the #1 way to succeed is to get Mister Stark to like you, and the #1 way to get HIM to like you is to be nice to the over enthusiastic high school kid

Fic that follows the perspective of a very confused peter who told tony about the nice elevator person and now is being offered free food and compliments at every turn

"why does writing take so long" because 60% of it is coming up with a sentence, realizing that sentence doesn't work the way you want it to, and staring at a wall

Been thinking, I’ve been writing kpop/nct fanfics for a few years now, I know I can write somewhat decently, and ever since I’ve entered my ATLA phase a few months ago, I’ve been wanting to write a Zukka fic, but I can’t settle or come up with a good idea to commit to writing 😭

I desperately need to conjure up an idea cuz my hands have been itching to write Zukka for ages 💀
