Before they started dating (And Krueger was in the one month stage of pining) Nak used to be so directly flirtatious to the point Krueger would think his heart was about to give out. It wasn't like she was oblivious, she just liked egging him on a bit for attention. Crazy bitch was playing mind games.
Like telling him to stop and stay still to adjust his scrim net so he looks presentable, before resting her hand on his shoulder for what seems like a second too long. Then she goes and has the AUDACITY to go "Hm. Good, better this way."
Her getting real close to do his face paint, her fingers lightly on his jaw so she can paint over him properly. Because she keeps complaining "The way you do it is so sloppy." Or saying "I don't mind, you're easy on the eyes." as if it was NOTHING
Krueger saying Nak dresses nice only for her, with a sly ass smile to respond with "I look cute, don't I? Why don't you change so we can match." Doesn't matter if it's their gear or civilian clothes.
She's such a good flirt until she gets affection straight back. Anyways 8 reblogs and I'll write a Nak x GN!Reader.

I have decided to stop biting my nails and they are now the longest they’ve ever been and I think they look so good
So I have a thing of Clockwork being a triplet. Clockwork (Time), Cosmos (Space), & Chaos (self explanatory lol)
I think Kaido would make the first move in Saikai am I alone in this? Like sure, he’s a total fucking mess but Kaido has his moments of courage, plus he’s made Saiki go somewhere or do something so many times and every time its like Saiki goes “I only came cuz Kaido really wanted me to” liike ok if Kaido really wanted you to go out with him and only him would you, huh?
I don’t know lolI just have a feeling that Kaido has more of a “OH MY GOD THAT PERSON IS SO WONDERFUL I LOOVE THEM HOLY COW LETS GET MARRIED!!” kinda love sickness and Saiki’s more of a “FUUUUCK WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING TO ME HELP THIS IS ACTUALLY MISERY IT WASN’T SUPPOSED TO GO THIS WAY FUCK” love sickness. Idk idk I might be reaching here 😖😖😖
fucking love when I'm on a call with someone and they start to do a little errand or go somewhere else and they say "and you're coming with me" like. absolutely I am let's go on an adventure I've been spirited away
Cross pulling up to the emergency meeting in the middle of the night
(There was no emergency, Soundbite was feeling humorous and decided to mess with everyone)
The only good thing staff added recently
Mutuals we are doing this
It was so important to me that Stolas was able to be sad throughout the entire episode. Usually media likes to rush a character's grief/depression/sadness. Like "Stop moping around" or "get over it already." Depression doesn't just go away. It is a persistent feeling of sadness.
His depression was also presented through various emotions/emotional states.
Lethargy
Crying
Anger / frustration
Self-blame
Not wanting company and being emotionally drained and unable to reciprocate
We even see him Smiling / Laughing which is so important because we see that he is still in there behind the sadness and tears. His laugh is not as lively as it once but he is still capable of smiling and finding joy.
His problems weren't fix in the end and his sadness didn't go away even if he has someone who loves him by his side (and even if he loves him too). And I think this is one of the best depictions I have seen of a depressed character in media in a long time.
Very tired of people who continue to argue that Bill destroying Euclydia was completely on purpose and he didn’t care about anyone at all because he’s just trying to garner sympathy in The Book of Bill, despite all the supporting evidence outside of Bill’s words that allude to how deeply traumatic it was, (so many, many things about) how he loved and misses his parents, how much of a sore spot the topic is for him, how much he wants to return home but can’t, etc. in addition to how perfectly Alex and co. crafted a parallel narrative between Bill and Ford, including how they hurt the people they love out of carelessness and blind pursuit of their dreams, justifying to themselves that the people they hurt just couldn’t understand
Yes, Bill is an unreliable narrator, and that includes all the very obvious posturing that he did it all on purpose and it was actually a very good thing, that everyone loved him, that he’s NOT incarcerated or anything and that he’s still a really all-powerful being, etc etc etc. To fully believe that EVERY vulnerability he reveals is an evil manipulation tactic, and not actual character writing, you have to interpret his very prevalent denial of weakness, which continues into the conclusion of the book where he already knows he’s lost the reader and is still denying any emotional needs or trauma, as itself a lie.
There’s a reason why the Pines family cracked open this book and laughed at Bill, calling him a fractured, pathetic mess.
The Book of Bill has a plot, a great plot, and great character writing. It’s a crazy companion to Journal 3, Ford’s story. Parallel stories, but where one ends with someone healing from their trauma, coming to terms with one’s mistakes and accepting the need for human love and relationships, the other ends with one stuck forever in their layers and layers of denial, never acknowledging their own trauma, never acknowledging their need for human companionship, grasping in desperate need at their continued facade of hating to love and loving to hurt.
Bill isn’t an always-in-control sly master of the mind, he’s a delusional and desperate man, fractured by his own trauma, who will continue to hurt others to prove that he’s in control. I’m tired of the false narrative that abusers can’t have trauma, aren’t people, giving them this otherworldly status above all humanity. Aside from not being narratively or societally productive, it undermines the ending and message of the book. Acknowledging Bill’s brokenness gives his victims POWER over him. The fact that Bill needs Ford, but Ford doesn’t need Bill is powerful. Them laughing at his desperation is powerful. Looking at someone who once seemed untouchable to you and realizing they’re just a suffering meat sack like any other human being is powerful.
The ending of The Book of Bill is the demystification of Bill. The book is a real look into his mind, telling a story that’s actually very tragic. It’s a very real story, a cautionary tale. You’re not being manipulated or tricked if you feel bad, it’s a very intentional writing decision that this ending elicits that dark pity, as he desperately fades away (arts and crafts materials confiscated) saying that he’s FINE.
So yeah, The Book of Bill and the website are a masterwork of the character, I love them, they’re incredible, and I don’t want to see such a tight character story discredited as “you can’t believe ANY of it!”
me thinks he would really like metal (mmm I wonder why)
Gotham is good for a lot of reasons. Excessive amounts of death leading to a lot of ambient ectoplasm, a (mostly) quiet ghost population, and enough problems that Danny could have his slice of the Obsession with protection cake and eat it, too.
There's also Red Hood.
He's not exactly sure what the man is yet. Excessively Liminal or Revenant or some kind of halfa, but that is, admittedly, part of the attraction. Red Hood finds him when he's flying close to the roof tops of Crime Alley-- one moment Phantom is flying through the air, the next there's a hand around his wrist that slams him down into the concrete. Pinning him beneath a body that's got more bulk than his little undead body will ever have.
And... he's a halfa. In that moment, he is strictly more ghost than human, and what Red Hood just did? It's an invitation. An open house opportunity to have some tussles, communicate with the undead like he's used to. So he phases out from underneath the man, chuckling quietly to himself, and pins him right back.
This escalates. This escalates drastically.
Because Red Hood seems to have it out for him now. It takes Phantom far too long to realize that they aren't playing the same game, and by the time he does the Not A Game has culminated into being shot at and grabbed and pinned down the second Red Hood registers him in the vicinity.
He doesn't mind that part. He doesn't mind being held down with another man panting heavily into his ear, and he doesn't think Red Hood is protesting that, either.
But Red Hood seems to find him no matter where he is, these days. And it's still escalating. They're starting to fall off rooftops, several storeys at a time. And though the bullets are honestly useless, there's something... not good, when Red Hood solely aims for places that would likely down a human and stop them from getting back up.
It starts to become worrying. Then, it stops being fun. It stops being fun the day Red Hood comes across him in his human form.
At least he genuinely seems freaked out about the blood staining Danny's shirt, thanks to the bullet he just put in his shoulder.
