Your gateway to endless inspiration
I finally finished it! 🐺🐺 I hope my mom will like it ☺ This is a mix between a wolf and a bird. That's why he has feathers on the chest. And yes you're right it's a double exposure 😊well.. I tried.. ! I really love colorful and creative feathers , that's why I drew so many of them on its head 😆 I'm currently working on another digital artwork! (Arttrade ) and I'll upload a speedpaint of it on youtube!! I already worked 3 hours on it and not even the head is done 😂 🐺 . References used for wolf anatomy, the bird (kingfisher) and the orchid ☺ (all real life photos, no art from others! )
i will never stop thinking about this poem my greek professor showed us
I drew this.
This is so cute.
It’s a pity that the translator can‘t accurately express my excitement.😣😣😣
Sheep (Penguins) from Old School RuneScape
This child who came to my house tonight is literally the funniest human being on the planet. She complimented me on having both lollipops and mini Three Musketeers available because "a lot of houses these days don't give you a fruit flavor option." She was very solemn about this.
Just a random thing I did.
YOU DO NOT HURT THE BABY!
My Diamonds...
My Blue, Yellow, and Pink Diamonds (yes I know she’s purple but dammit this is MY Diamond Authority)
White Diamond? Eh, pick on and I’m sure he’ll fit the bill.
Damn... a younger Paul Newman was pretty fine. Oh Armie Hammer, he’s so pretty... Owen babe, I’ve had a crush on you for 11 years ever since I was ten... you’re still so gorgeous.
DAMMIT 2017! YOU MADE ME LIKE GUYS AGAIN!
That’s what I think will happen too.
Even in Toy Story 3 the conflict of “your child will grow up and won’t need you” was postponed with Andy giving the toys to Bonnie. She’s going to get older still and give up the toys and it’s just another delay of the inevitable and heartache will restart once again.
Lightning retiring after having one last comeback by beating Jackson would be beautiful, heartbreaking, but hopeful ending that would resolve his internal conflict and having him leave on his own terms. He’d see it as a choice he made, that Doc didn’t have. Doc said there was a whole lot left in him after his crash that he never had the chance to show it, the crash left him bitter and angry at the racing world and he wanted nothing more than to hide and never hear of it again. Lightning doesn’t want to be that, he doesn’t want to be kicked out of the sport he loves, he doesn’t want to become resentful of it when he stops. He wants the choice of retiring, not the fear. Leaving something that you love doing, knowing that you accomplished a lot and made it your choice is a satisfying end.
Him retiring and maybe even becoming Cruz’s crew chief would be his character arc coming full circle, becoming the Doc to a new generation, to Cruz.
Hear me out: yes, they can do a movie where he’s falling behind new tech, refuses to give up, trains with Cruz, gets revamped, goes into another race and shows those whippersnappers who’s boss. And it could be fun and entertaining and have good characters, and have a message that just because you’re old doesn’t mean you’re out! However, the main emotional conflict for Lightning is unresolved. He still has to let go and retire at some point. There will always be new tech. So really, the main conflict is only postponed.
OR
They could do an ending where he does train, he does get new tech. He could potentially beat Jackson Storm. But then he sees what a promising racer Cruz is (isn’t she supposed to be an aspiring racer?). And he starts to reminisce about his career, and he does realize that he’s had a really great one that will leave a legacy no matter what. And that there’s things he can potentially do with his life (and his wife/girlfriend/whatever) after he’s done racing; his life isn’t over just because he retires. So yeah, maybe he does go in and beats Jackson Storm, just to show that he can and to leave on a high note a la Michael Phelps. But then he retires on his own terms, opening a space for Cruz to enter the circuit, because now he realizes that his legacy can last through the new athletes (again, Michael Phelps–he’s getting beaten by guys who idolized him as kids now and he’s cool as long as they aren’t asses about it). It would close the series, like Toy Story 3, with a message of letting go, letting a younger generation take over, and entering a new chapter of your life. In my opinion, a much stronger and more complex film.

say what you will about zosan as a ship but you would be fool if you think they hate each other. they are undeniably best friends.
they get on each other's nerves. they wash dishes together. they are baring their teeth at each other every day. they fight together and it feels like a dance. it feels like breathing. it feels like they have known each other forever. they both think the other is the worst person to ever exist on this planet. they trust each other with their lives. every step, every sprint, every fight. they don't have to look back to see if the other is keeping up because of course he is. he is the most infuriating, head strong, insane bastard in the world. of course he's keeping up. how annoying.
it's unspoken, this bond between them. they could be at each other's throats but when the marines or the world government or even the fucking devil is in front of them to bring them down, they're on their feet. legs blazing, swords unsheathed. they know their way around each other like the back of their hand. one call of the other's name and he's already there, ready to bring the whole world down. they are the wings of the pirate king. they are the pillars that hold up the home that their captain built. they are two sides of the same coin. sanji and zoro, zoro and sanji, sanjiandzoro.
plates always filled with food that smells like home. hands always searching, always reaching out to pull him back to the right path with an obscenity or two or a million more. but for all his whining, he still comes to get him, every single time.
i will keep you safe. i won't let you lose your way.
eyes always watching. grin sharp and mad, words puling him out of the hell that is his mind with a taunt. silent nights spent in each other's company. the back of a sword jabbed at his ribs. silent determination. steady, solid, under your hands as you lose consciousness.
i will keep you safe. i won't let you forget your worth.
they've never known love that doesn't tear out of them, snarling, spitting, biting. they've never known tenderness. the crew teaches them love in their strange, gentle, loud ways and it's beautiful, it's confusing, it hurts in the best way possible. but with each other? they don't have to hold back. there's something so intimate about holding someone by their collar, dragging them close and yelling look. look. this is how i love. i will kick your face in and make you the best meal you've ever had. i will spend all my time thinking of stupid names to call you. i won't ever say you matter to me, but i will die for you. i will trust you with all that is important to me. look at this fucking mess. this is how i will always love. with teeth and nails and intent to kill. are you afraid yet? only to have the other lean closer with a grin so feral and say, do your worst, asshole.
they are nakama. they are rivals. they are friends. what they have cannot be put down in one word but in the end, the word will come down to something close to love.
I’ve never heard of this story until now, but I like this version 10x better. This speaks to me on so many levels and it’s wonderfully illustrated!
We had to write a Mini Comic for my Illustration Class so I did mine based on The Frog and The Scorpion. Hopefully you all know the story!
But if you don’t know the story… In the original the scorpion stings the frog in the middle of the river. When the frog asks “why” the scorpion says “it’s in my nature” and they both die. I like my ending more.
