"looking forward" 18x24 oil on canvas
this one's about how easy it is to get depressed while chronically ill & disabled, and how i combat it by "looking forward" (đ) to the future and the good things it may have in store for me.
what if i started posting my paintings here lol
"50%" 18x24in oil and thread (NOT SPAGHETTI) on canvas
this piece is meant to be representative of chronic migraines, symbolized by the thread, and funky lines and textures, and a monochromatic color scheme. the title itself is a reference to the fact that, on average, i have a migraine about 50% of days. really fun stuff right? but it's important to express our frustrations someway, somehow, and my personal favorite method is by using the creative arts. im not a very outwardly expressive person, so art is where i turn to.

âCreationâ - Oil on Canvas 32â x 48âł Fine Art Original
This piece is part of a larger series that taps into my roots/ancestry and the working class/post industrial town where I was raised. Itâs an examination of both the personal and collective drive of that era of our past, from the late 1800s through the early 1900s, and a further reflection of the future it helped create.
