🪽if he has to rip your wings off he won’t chuck them away . No he prefers to have them and uses them as part of his throne for all to see. It’s a way to keep apart of you with him when he is doing king duties.

🪽wouldn’t necessarily do the same to his children not unless he has too.

🪽however if you tried to escape after having the child and you don’t have your wings anymore. He will use them against you ripping there wings off as a sign of punishment to you .

So if yall didn’t know, in The Hobbit book, Thranduil had the Dwarves locked up for approximately weeks, and Bilbo was just invisible and wandering in the palace the entire time, vibing miserably.

My headcanon, therefore, is that the Mirkwood Elves now have a local legend about a ghost haunting Thranduil’s palace, never seen but generally thought to be harmless. Thranduil scoffs at the idea, but has been seen glancing around at the dark corners of rooms. Legolas fully believes in it and is known to say hello out loud when he enters an empty room, in case the ghost is nearby.

It’s not until Legolas joins the Fellowship that he figures out that the supposed ghost was actually an invisible Bilbo the whole time. He never tells Thranduil, because he thinks it’s funny to see his regal father unnerved by the idea of a ghost.

OK so my plan for the character x reader is going to be this I'm going to write the chapters on the docs put I'll copy and paste them here it will be for thranduil, Billy hargrove, and marquis Vincent Bisset de Gramont.

Lindir had been attached to the hip of one of Bards assistants Verissa since morning. He was supposed to be attending Lord Elrond but was told to ‘take a break’

Well she was nice at least, and dare he say it perhaps she was even a friend.

Elrond: There you are Lindir! How has your day been?

Lindir: My day has been well, Verissa here was quite kind in showing me around.

Elrond: oh was she now

Elrond didn’t want antagonize the situation but Verissa hardly seemed kind and helpful sort; a constant scowl on her face, short replies and staring at air. Then again Erestor did similar things...

Bard huffed: And how was your day Verissa?

She looked up from inspecting her nails: it was not terrible

Elrond bristled.

Bard laughed: Well good to see you making friends! And with elves no less!

Verissa hummed huffy: ...friends...

Glorfindale stepped in before Elrond could interject: Well then I hope tomorrow goes better for you I’m sure we can find something for Lindir to do without taking your time

Verissa blinked slowly:Why would you need to do that?

Glorfindale: uuuhhhh welll

Erestor: We simply don’t want to disturb you with someone you barely appear to tolerate

The room went quite, the room was quite until the humans began to laugh!

The non-Greenwood elves stood shocked. Glorfindale: Did she just threaten murder and the humans are ... happy?

Thranduil grind over to Elrond: No worries Lindir, this just means she likes you.

Elves have heighten senses right, so they probably never had a need for hunting dogs. So they probably never had dogs as pets. So...
