It takes time to process how much he likes it when you touch him

- bård found out many different and new things about himself after getting with you, his very first serious partner at all, you helped him realise so much about himself and never failed to help him with the things going on inside of his head too

✩ but one thing that bård really came to realise after becoming your boyfriend and doing different kinds of couple things together? well, he realised that he really loves cuddling… like, a whole lot…

- the kind of strange thing is that cuddling never seemed all that appealing to bård before you came along and swept him off his feet! whenever he saw a destined to be slaughtered couple cuddling up in an isolated woodland cabin in one of his horror movies, he just never got the appeal

✩ bård thought that cuddling seemed… useless and not very enjoyable at all! it seemed too overbearing and just too soft for him, he hated the idea of being so close to someone like that because what about the body heat? what about sweat? what about the blankets getting tangled in between bodies? it all just seemed so unappealing to him, or at least that is what he made himself believe anyways…

- truth be told, bård was very likely just kind of jealous in a way! every time he saw a couple cuddling like that, he felt his own heart yearn for someone to love him like that and for someone to love like that, he yearned to feel the warmth of a lovers arms around him during the colder nights in his lonely apartment but he never thought anyone would like to do that with him which is why he decided to make himself dislike the thought of cuddling so much, it is why he made his brain think about how terrible it would actually be to cuddle someone

✩ but alas, true feelings cannot stay buried underneath lies for the rest of time and when bård got with you? his once hidden love for the idea of being so close to someone was surprisingly quick to reveal itself to you

- well, i say it was surprising but really? it is not quite that! at least, it should not have been too surprising because of how comfortable you make bård feel, being in your presence? it makes him feel like he can be his true self no matter what, even more so when you do not treat him any differently after he tells you about some of the things happening in his mind… bård is so new to relationships and in a way, this makes him eager! you make him feel so safe and at home, all of the things he keeps hidden from everything else come out to be on show around you with little to no fear of judgement at all…

✩ bård kind of clings onto you a whole lot, you are his standing rock in the depths of an unforgiving ocean and you are his home! it is definitely kind of bad but after getting with you? a lot of his mental health and his happiness relies on you, you are his true happiness and you are what drives him to be better in life

✩ wether you are a guy or a girl or even just something in between, when you and bård are both a little bit intoxicated and have just stumbled home to your shared apartment before damn near ripping your now very uncomfortable clothes off and climbing into bed wearing nothing but underwear? drunk bård is a little bit more confident bård and his hands are bound to go wandering just a little bit when you press your almost naked body up against his own for warmth and love

- now, i have been talking a lot about bård cuddling you but you know… sometimes he likes to be cuddled too, not that you do not always cuddle back into him when he cuddles you but sometimes he wants to be the one being held, sometimes he wants to be the little spoon even if he will never say those words out loud and will always divert from saying those two words when he asks you to big spoon him instead of the other way around…

✩ the feelings that rush through bård when you cuddle him and hold him safe in your arms are all so beyond unfamiliar and new to him, they are so unfamiliar and new but in the best way possible! being held in your arms fill him with a feeling of content and warmth that he begins to crave more and more as time goes on

- when being the little spoon for a change, bård loves feeling your arms wrap around his frame from behind as your legs tangle together beneath the blankets, he always feels his own breathing become so much more relaxed and he feels his mind turning into a tired mush the second you press a soft kiss to the side of his head and use your fingers to slip underneath the cotton of his plain black shirt that he wears to bed just to draw gentle shapes on the pale skin his waist, he absolutely loves that he gets to fall asleep to the gentle and rhythmic sound of your heartbeat when being the little spoon in your arms too, hearing your heart beat next to his ear and knowing that it is full of love for him just as his is for you makes his stomach flutter

- bård wonders how he ever even survived the winters before you! because when he steps out of bed from his spot beside you in the morning? he immediately just wants to dive back under the thick blankets and curl himself into you and feel your warmth, when he goes to rehearse with emperor whilst you stay home due to the immense cold? all he ever wants to do is get back home and climb into bed with you! he was never too bothered by winter and the cold that always came with it before you but your warmth is like nothing he has ever felt before and after experiencing it? he feels that he can never live without it again, winter feels so much worse than ever before and all he ever wants is to hold your warm body against his own as the two of you sleep through the winter like two bears hibernating through it all! when you leave the bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or grab a drink of water? bård always wakes up to the new lack of heat beside him and waits for you to return to bed with an almost grumpy expression on his tired face, like an upset cat missing his warm human

✩ bård tends to snore a whole lot when he sleeps

- he never once snored before he started dating you and cuddling with you in his sleep! but cuddling you and sleeping with you beside him in your shared bed and in his pale arms? it always makes him fall into such a deeper and a much more peaceful sleep than he ever has before, which is where the newfound snoring in his sleep comes from…

✩ never did he know the definition of a good nights rest before you entered his life and changed it for the better! his sleeps before getting with you were always in a very broken schedule and he never felt well rested when he awoke much earlier than he should have, his bedsheets were always a mess when he awoke due to how much tossing and turning he would do in his restless nights

- but when you came into his life and the two of you began dating? well, now he might just understand why some people say that sleep is the best part of life! sleeping with you is so different to sleeping alone, just your mere presence beside him beneath the warm covers makes him feel more at ease and being able to wrap his arm around your waist from behind whilst his button nose gets to rest in your hair as the lingering scent of your shampoo fills his senses always makes him feel so secure

✩ his sleep talking is almost always just incoherent mumbles as his norwegian accent is even thicker than usual and sometimes he even sleep talks in his native tongue too! but there has been a couple times where you have understood a few little things that he said and they never ever fail to make your heart swell up with love inside of your chest as you listen to him before falling back into your own sleep

- the few sentences you have ever made out from his sleep talking have been little things like “ love you so much… ” “ wanna marry you soon ” “ so beautiful ” and “ dont deserve you… ”

✩ there was once when you heard him mumble out a quiet “ i do… forever… ” and you had to resist waking him from his sleep to pepper him in loving kisses as you realised he must have been dreaming about marrying you, he must have been seeing everything happening at the alter so clear in his land of sleep…

- his face is always so covered in pure bliss as he tells you about his dreams and if you looked close enough at his chocolate brown eyes? you would be able to the yearning and want in his eyes, you would be able to see that he sees those perfect dreams with you as his true future with you and he awaits it with such eagerness in his heart <3

Headcanons for Haters anatomy! Ive had these floating about and decided to finally jot them down properly!

Its mostly weird and icky jelly stuff that changes in consistency and even opacity depending on its function and purpose. It resides within his bones for the most part but seeps out whenever he gets a cut or injured or needs some extra protection, so it gets extra goopy and bad when something makes its way past the layers of bone and into the system within. The first time he got properly sick in the skullship it was a nightmare for the little guys. (Picture sm similar to that scene in Howls Moving Castle)

But this does help explain how hes so immune to Captain Tim and their scratches and bites and acid fuelled "kisses". Hes doing alot of repairing and rebuilding without even realising. As well as the jelly being very effective against most types of acids and keeping any other unwanted inruders out of his system.

Very little is known about how he functions and he barely knows how he works himself despite years of being alive so its quite a scare when he actually does get properly hurt or sick. His senses are also pretty dull on the outer layers, which definitely didn't influence his relationship to pain and torturing and not getting why his fleshy companions make such a big deal out of it.

But the sudden sensory input when the jelly gets involved can be surprising and even upsetting, anything more than a loose flowy robe is suddenly really annoying and distracting to wear. A little like moving from the amount of sensation in ones teeth, to the amount of sensation in the gums.

Bro??? These are amazing???

It makes so much sense that there isn't any dimorphism because the end credits of the showstopper list female watchdog names!!! Not sure if there are any female watchdogs on the ship because Wander didn't seem to have any female names on his list and Hater's shown to be a bit sexist in some episodes but if he got redeemed there definitely would be!

And the notes about their planet, they make so much sense! And the art style is awesome - uhg I can't get over this post dude.

I actually made my own anatomy post a year or two ago that goes about their anatomy a bit differently, but I may need to retcon that a bit now lmao

Jaehyuk and you would probably model together (idk how tall he is so I’m not sure sorry) if he’s short than it doesn’t matter cause he got the face, if he’s tall then it doesn’t matter cause he still got his face. It’s the same with you -but not with your face- with your personality, he fell for your personality, he fell for who you are, he didn’t fall because of your physical appearance. If you were tall, he would love you, if you were short, he would love you. But if Jaehyuk saw people writing mean comments about you, boy would he get worked up, he would become mad at first, thinking “these people are just jealous” and then he would become sad “why would anyone say that about anyone.” Because of these comments he would be extra careful to make sure you know you’re gorgeous cause YOU ARE GORGEOUS.

I know that Asahi is on the shorter side (idk how short sorry) Now it has been mentioned before that Asahi barely has any facial expressions, Seunghun called him a handsome wall lmao, even when the jtrainees sang happy birthday he didn’t show any reaction. But he isn’t like that when he comes to you, other than his family, you are the only one that can make him smile, like if someone mentions your name this boy will go all soft. Now if he had someone come up to him and say something like “your girlfriend is too tall it’s disgusting” no one would be that ugly to say that pls bare with me he would reply back with “isn’t it disgusting that you’re so insecure, you hate on another just to feel better?” He would say it with such a emotionless face that the person who said that would end up reevaluate what the purpose of this world is WOW HIS IMPACT. So basically he wouldn’t care, he loves you, no doubt about it.

Head. Over. Heels. You know his song ‘Black Swan’? Yeah he was thinking of you when he wrote that. He just loves you, anyone can tell he loves you. Now Yedam is around 5’7 so he is shorter and he is the type to get flustered if you wear heels because he never actually realises how tall you actually are, he’s always been fascinated by how amazing your personality is and how you two get along so well, he has never actually even thought about your height, it’s just never crossed his mind. Y’all would sorta be like John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, you’re his gorgeous model-like girlfriend and he’s this amazing singer-songwriter, and he writes songs about you all the time, he puts some of the songs out to the public and some of the songs are so special that it’s just for your ears only.

Doyoung:

I’m only a month older than doyoung and he’s achieved so much more than me, what am I doing with my life ok moving on! Doyoung would love how tall you are, “like zamnnnn, you see that long legged creature over there? No not the giraffe, I mean my girlfriend” idk I feel like he would try and be slick and try to compliment you but it would end up like that ^ Doyoung is shy, even if y’all have been dating for years he would still be shy. You kiss his cheek? Blushing mess. You compliment him? Blushing mess. But he definitely would be the type to show off to the world, he would constantly be taking pictures of you (with and without your knowledge) most of them are full body pictures because sis you got great proportions and he probably has a whole album dedicated to you, loves it when you take his phone and spam it with selfies. Like the others he wouldn’t care that your taller than him (he’s 5’8) and he wouldn’t care if you wore heels. He’s just uwu about you.

Haruto:

Haruto is still pretty young and I feel like he’ll grow and become as tall as 180cm or even taller maybe, I just know he has a bit of growing left. So right now he’s 5’9 not much of a difference. Just like Junkyu and his gf. You and Haruto would be THAT couple, paparazzi be taking pictures of you two left and right, you too would probably get so many modelling contracts OOF THE POWER but haruto would be the type to compete with yours and his height, “I grew a centimetre, I’m the taller one now!” And then you would be like “Nope, I grew another centimetre also” y’all would be competing about your heights wow, would be the type to challenge you to a milk drinking competition (bc apparently milk makes you taller) after that competition both of you had upset stomachs for a whole week, now the older members supervise you just in case you do it again, because you and him WOULD do it again. With Haruto you wouldn’t be insecure about your height, like Haruto doesn’t even have to say anything to make sure you know he doesn’t care about your height. It’s the little things like the milk drinking competition and the constantly measure each other’s height that makes you know he doesn’t care and the thing is, is that he doesn’t even realise it himself that he’s doing these making sure you know he doesn’t care, he’s still young so he might be a bit oblivious.

Jeongwoo:

Jeongwoo is currently 5’7 and I do believe he will grow taller, just not as much as Haruto. He would be the such a cutie about your height, like “wow, that’s my girlfriend? I got lucky” when he sees a picture that you posted on your Instagram. Or if you two are gonna go on a date he’ll be like “I must’ve saved the world in my past life” he says the comments so naturally, they just flow out of his mouth, he loves you and he wants you to know he loves you. But I feel like if he read any mean comments about your height and you did aswel, he would be the type to drag himself down aswell, “if you’re ugly than I must be shreks brother” like he says it with the intention of making you laugh but he unconsciously brings himself down too :( so whoever jeongwoos girlfriend is PLEASE LET HIM KNOW HES PERFECT. Now he is young but I feel like he would notice if you were insecure, and he would always get so upset, your what makes him happy and the thing that makes him happy isn’t happy? There’s only one gif of him wtf He’s 5’8 and he’s still really really young so he has ALOT of growing to do, he’s 13 omg. Treasure 13 Reaction To Having A Tall Girlfriend (1/2)

Hyunsuk:

Hyunsuk, may be a little insecure since he is on the shorter side (5’6ish), he might prefer it if you wouldn’t wear heels, but I feel like he would be the type to brag about his girlfriends height (if she’s that tall). Probably tease the other guys and say “my girlfriends taller than you, she can easily step on you” or something along those lines. If someone teased him he would be like “okay I may be short, but are you taller than MY girlfriend, huh, yeah I thought so” but nevertheless he would love you regardless of your height.

Jihoon:

Jihoon is 5’9 so basically the same height as his girlfriend, only a couple of differing centimetres, but I feel like he would look at you in complete awe. He’s the type to tease you by asking you to get things from off the shelves (when he could still reach) just to play around with you, and at the same time he would compliment you, “my girlfriends gorgeous enough to model 🤧” or “when are you gonna start modeling, huh?” And like Hyunsuk, if any of the other members annoyed him he would jokingly say “I’ll ask y/n to come and step on you so be careful” he loves you for you and nothing else.

Yoshinori:

Yoshinori aka my precious baby would be such a sweetheart, if you ever felt insecure about your height, he would do absolutely ANYTHING to make you feel confident in your height. He would understand why you would feel bad about your height (cause like Japan and Korea are on the shorter side and they like to stare), if he saw people staring at you, he would try and put your mind on something else, he would probably start doing aegyo in public just so he could see you smile. Someone please tell me how tall he is bc idek smh.

Junkyu:

Oof, this man would be head over heels for you. Junkyu is 5’10 so your height difference won’t be much. You and him would be THAT couple, the couple who models together, the couple who take the sickest pictures together, the couple that people inspire to be. Okay y’all are THAT couple. Warning again for end of the manga spoilers

From the end of Izuku's second year things shift. Everything becomes about Izuku. Not to say it wasn't before but after Izuku essential throws in the towel toward his dream with a smile and tears streaming down his face Inko and Toshinori go about dealing with it in similar and yet very different ways

There had been this very tentative start of something between the two of them. Moments shared, outings planned, time spent where it was just the two of them and only enough to count on two hands. Neither would call it a date(s?). Something it felt too fragile to name

Which is why it all takes a pause

From Izuku's second to third year the family dinners don't stop—the three of them spend ample time together—but free time is spent elsewhere. Spent on Izuku. Not each other.

It's Inko researching university costs. Monitoring him when he's home. Constantly checking in. She draws into herself again because she knows that sad smile on her son's face. Knows it so well from the 14 years she'd seen it plastered there when he'd come home from school only to say with an defeated, weepy smile that it was "good."

Toshinori throws himself into spending time with the kid. He knows the embers of ofa have begun to grow more and more dim. Every internship, every leap into action, every selfless act his boy does because he can't help himself makes the remains fade a bit more. It's something Toshi can't stop. And Izuku is stubborn on his decision to go into education. Stubborn that he's "fine." That as long as he can make a difference then that's "all he needs."

Somehow, Izuku has accepted the end before Toshi because even now he can't help but see that fire in Izuku to save. And he doesn't know how to fix this so he just throws himself at it. He's checking in on Izuku at the dorms. Keeping an eye on him during class. Inviting him to lunch, asking him to join him for a morning run.

He's pestering Aizawa and the other teachers about Izuku's mood, his performance, his everything. They're willing to share but even they have their limits and think he's being a little overbearing. Luckily Bakugou is a very helpful inside eye on things and he sees it too—the hidden sadness in Izuku's eyes.

Which is why, when Izuku's not seeing his friends and the schedules align, Toshinori invites him to come along to a meeting or two with Hawks. They visit some on site restoration efforts, get to see the pros and even a few recent UA graduates hard at work, and Toshi tries to stress, to show Izuku just how many people Deku did save.

And Izuku... he knows what Toshinori's doing, knows how much his mother's worrying. So... despite his own loneliness as his friends discuss graduation and their entering into hero work (many opting for the field immediately instead of hero studies at university to address the societal issues that remain after the war) he does everything he can to smile and resolve that he'll be okay, if not for himself, then for them. For All Might and Mom.

In all of this... Inko and Toshinori don't really collaborate. Or rather they don't rely on each other as they should. They'll sometimes share with each other during their rather routine weekend dinners (perhaps when Izuku steps away for the bathroom) when they've noticed anything of note. There's one time when Inko breaks down in front of him though. One time where she cries quietly and he reaches cross the table to rest his hand on hers. But they don't really speak. Don't really share. Their conversations stay focused on Izuku. For right now, it's not about each other.

Izuku feels it, too. He'd noticed an air between them, knew that they had been on what all his friends insist are dates, has seen the way they'd smile at each other, had even stopped outside the door to the living room a few times during his second year and heard them laughing. Had seen them sitting on the couch together, a little too close for a parent and teacher, and had felt this nervous bit of hope. Felt like a puzzle piece he didn't know he was missing, a possibility of something he never even considered, could slot into place. And now that possibility (this idea of the three of them, not just Inko and Izuku, but Inko, Izuku, and Toshinori) is slipping away because of him.

So he tries to fix it.

Izuku does enjoy teaching, and the prospect of it as a career. He loves analyzing and planning and coming up with solutions to difficult problems. Discussing his career choice with Aizawa makes him realize that teaching is actually quite a lot of that which actually makes him excited! Sure teaching wasn't his dream but it was something he could be good at, something fulfilling for himself and others! (as well as something that would keep his quirkless-body safe and his mother's eyes dry) He just needs to show mom and All Might that he really believes that and that yes he's sad but he's also happy and optimistic about the future!

Izuku starts making it a POINT at their next ..."family dinners" (he's not really sure what to call them but that) to share the different classes for a few of the universities he's looking. He starts bringing out his entrance exam prep books and asks if they can help him study (even if he doesn't always need it). He asks Toshinori more stories about his college days with Dave, asks his mother about her time at university before she'd apparently settled down with his father. Watches as the two light up at every opportunity he gives them to help him. And even if he'd meant for it to be helping them, he finds it helps him too.

But more importantly with every real smile he gives he sees the tension from his mother's shoulders as it begins to lighten. With every excited and honest ramble he goes on he observes the shadow across All Might's brow lessen once again. And finally he watches on with satisfaction as, sometimes, their little study sessions (All Might quizzing Izuku with flashcards while his mother brings some tea) dissolve into the two adults laughing with each other over some inside joke he doesn't quite get. As, sometimes, the two will break into a conversation all their own after Izuku has started one.

It begins to feel like the unsaid, unlabeled air that was there is returning (along with that possibility of family, which, Izuku realizes, he craves maybe as much as he does his dream)

And so when entrance exams come around Izuku absolutely kills it. He aims for some top schools because why not? And he gets in.

Him, Toshinori, and Inko go out for a celebratory meal when the exam results come out because Izuku insists. He's actually quite adamant he's okay with just the three of them despite Toshinori and Inko saying it's alright if he wants to celebrate with his friends. Afterall, he's been so busy studying (not to mention plotting to keep whatever spark had been flickering between them to keep going).

But Izuku says he'll see his friends later at the dorms (they're 100% planning a celebration he's not entirely aware of for when he returns) and that he wants it to just be the three of them.

And so they go out together. The three of them. Inko, Toshinori, and Izuku. No one is blind to how Izuku beams the entire time. Toshinori and Inko see it, they feel it, they've been relishing in it and even throwing each other unspoken signals about it (even before the entrance exams) because it seemed like Izuku's happiness was real.

Inko is so overjoyed. It feels like now, more than ever, Izuku is practically glowing. Even during his first year, when he had his full quirk, he had struggled so much. There were only small moments, so few and far in between for him to enjoy. She watches now as Izuku talks up a storm, eats up Toshinori and her praise, begins discussing all the exciting things to come before he begins life as a college student and she feels like he's going to be alright.

And as he vacuums down his food a little too fast, choking and needing to clear his throat, she finds herself drawn to the man at Izuku's side who laughs and pats his back to help him work it down.

This man who has been with her for these ups and downs. Who has been there for Izuku whenever she can't be. Who has shown her so much of himself and who stayed during these last few months even when she showed that no matter what her son always came first. Who looks across the table at her and smiles as Yagi Toshinori always does: kind, open, reassuring, and as if he doesn't deserve the smile she returns

They head home from the restaurant: Toshinori planning to take a taxi back to the dorms after escorting them both back, Izuku pouting a bit as he's staying for the evening and heading back in the morning, and Inko musing at all that changed.

It's a big step, one she never thought she'd take, not after all the heartbreak in her first marriage. But now, as the three of them sit on the train, Inko finds herself wanting to take it and knowing that if she doesn't the man beside her never will

And so on that train ride home, she quietly finds Toshnori's hand, and slips her fingers between his.

It means so much, more than she can ever say, that despite his startle, he doesn't pull away

👁️👁️ I owe you my life for asking, my friend

First, I just love them. Whether romantic, platonic, co-parenting duo—I just love them.

Also i'm going straight into end of the manga spoilers for these headcanons cause that's where my brain is currently sitting and spiraling?

In Izuku's 2nd year Inko and Toshinori start encountering each other a bit more often

They saw a bit of each other when Izuku and All Might were recovering in the same hospital room. It's where Inko learns that Izuku had sacrificed the quirk All Might gave him. She holds it together when Izuku tells her but once her son falls asleep she cries and cries and cries, unable to hold back even though All Might is there as a witness.

Toshinori confides in her that he's not sure of the future (he's essentially broke after using up all his money for the IronMight suit and he'd be homeless if he didn't have a dorm at UA) especially when it comes to Izuku's dream. Though he just can't believe this is the end of it. But no matter happens, he swears to her that his promise he made to her to stay alive and raise Izuku still stands.

And even though he renews that promise while on his back in a hospital bed, in a neck brace with plaster around every limb, it's even more powerful than the first time. Inko can't stop thinking about it even after Izuku is discharged.

It's why, once things have settled down, Inko asks Izuku if he'd like to invite All Might over for dinner

I like to imagine that Izuku elects to stay at the dorms for must weekdays but that he goes home on weekends to spend time with Inko. Part of it is admittedly because he's a little guilty—he put her under so much stress the last few months—be it's also because he just misses her.

And um yes! Izuku would like that! But he doesn't think All Might will say yes...he's still recovering from his battle and he's been busy working with Hawks on restoration. But Inko is very encouraging (almost insistent, which Izuku notes with some surprise) so Izuku relents and asks.

Imagine Toshinori's surprise when he gets the invite. He's at PT with Tsukauchi (who's there for moral support) when Izuku texts him and his immediate reaction is to slip from the bars when Tsukauchi reads the out loud message for him.

Toshi doesn't even have an answer at first because a part of him WANTS to go, and another feels it'd be too rude to reject what is Izuku's mother extending her thanks (nor does he want to reject Izuku when the boy is dealing with so much right now), but there's the matter of his diet and he doesn't want to be any trouble

But Izuku is a PSYCHIC (or very good at word vomit and backtracking) so he immediately messages that he already told his mother about Toshinori eating habits - and while he's embarrassed, he's thankful

He says yes and Tsukauchi watches on so so happy for his friend. Feeling like this truly is the first step in Toshinori's recovery that has been a very long time coming

And after that first dinner there's many more. Sometimes when Izuku comes home for the weekend he'll be the one to ask if Toshinori can join but sometimes Inko will extend an invite. At some point the two exchange numbers because in all the craziness they somehow never did when Izuku went AWOL and left UA.

And over these dinners that go on for most of Izuku's second year Inko finds herself learning more and more about the man behind the hero. She even feels a little bad, always calling him All Might, that she asks and is surprised when he gives her his name with only the hesitation of surprise and...gratefulness? It certainly feels that way whenever she refers to him by his last name & catches his expression

And the more she learns, the more that so much about Yagi Toshinori strikes her as a little too familiar. He shares one evening, helping her wash the dishes as Izuku picks out a movie for the three of them to watch, that he has no living family. No parents, no grandparents, no siblings, just an old teacher and Izuku. And it makes Inko (single mother, married young, without her parents, without siblings, estranged from any extended family, with only her little apartment and son) feel seen.

Things move very slow. But there's definitely a change. When the sport festival comes round again for the second years, Toshinori invites Inko to come see it live. Izuku competes and gets very far despite not using his quirk! (The school elected on not including a battle event this time around). And Inko has the worst/best time of her life cheering for her son right along with All Might.

They all go out to eat after and pick a small little place, to avoid Izuku or Toshinori from being recognized. It's so relaxed, comfortable, warm, something Inko realizes...she's growing used to

That same school year the cultural festival is reopened to the public and Inko goes thinking she'll walk around with Mitsuki until Izuku is free to say hello (she doesn't want to pull him from his friends). But then she runs into Toshinori and suddenly he's offering to show her around and then the two of them are exploring the festival together. And it only hits Inko as strange when they get to Izuku's class and her son waves, running up to him with a bit of surprise behind his eyes. "Oh, how come you're with All Might, Mom?"

And...that's a great question.

Then there's Toshi. He's partial to cooking but never really did it for himself. In fact he'd only started up again because of Izuku. Making bentos for their lunch meetings during school and for when the kid was working himself ragged on the run. But now he's bringing his own side dishes when he joins Inko and Izuku for dinner. Now, he's asking if there's something maybe he could try making. Now, Midoriya Inko is asking if he'd like to join her at the supermarket where she tends to shop and he's accepting.

It's a bit of a song and dance for almost a full year. Dinners, school events, shopping, walks. Inko sharing stories and pictures of Izuku that begin revealing more and more about herself. Toshi responding with the same courtesy.

There's this building comfort. This familiarity. This something Inko isn't sure she ever really had even with Hisashi when he was here in the time before Izuku was born.

Something Toshinori didn't even think he wanted, but now that he has it—feels it whenever he walks through the Midoriya's front door—he doesn't want to lose it

But everything comes to a halt when one day during his second year Izuku comes home with Toshinori in tow, which is not unusually for a Friday. What is unusual is Izuku saying he wants to talk with them both after dinner. The matter being the "UA Preparation for the Future Survey all the second years have received.

For a hero student, this would be a chance to review potential offers of work at a specific agency upon graduation, to see if a pro has extended an offer to begin as a sidekick, or to declare plans for startup work if a student plans on creating their own agency. For Izuku…

The fear Inko has for her son will never disappear but ever since she saw him fight from the safety of UA's fortress, her belief in him triumphs said fears. And she can't help but think Toshinori feels the same. None of them have really talked about this, or at least, not all together. Toshinori had mentioned a few times that Izuku had been sharing whenever the "embers" felt a little less but that had really been the extent

Toshinori starts the conversation, saying what Inko also wants to, that they'll support him, that they'll find a way, that even quirkless they'll make it work—but Izuku interrupts.

"I've decided." And by the look in his eyes Inko knows there'll be no convincing him otherwise. "I'm going to apply university."

He confesses to seriously considering his future. To reflecting on how he could continue to help people. To inspire and encourage others to feel like they could also reach out.

"Maybe I could try to be a hero quirkless..." And even though he doesn't cry Inko does when he looks to her and says, "But after everything...I'm not sure that's a risk I'm willing to take. I want to make sure more than anything that I can come home to you...both of you."

And then Inko's not the only one crying, Toshinori is too, and Izuku is poorly swiping at some tears but his voice doesn't waver at all when he says, "I want to be a teacher at UA"

Xingqiu’s 2024 birthday art is on my mind again, and how it (basically) confirmed that Xingqiu and her family own a cat, XINGQIU IS A CAT OWNER!!

(I haven’t seen anybody mention this fact anywhere, it might be because it feels more obvious to me from my perspective, but also I could just be missing them so who knows-)

Like besides very basic and obvious observations, to me in particular when she says: “𝐡𝐞𝐲, 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐲, 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐲!” it feels like she’s very familiar with it, and its behaviour - LIKE THAT‘S HER BABY!!!!!

That quote is all we really have when it comes to little details about this cat, and its relations to the Feiyun family. All we know is that it seems to be very playful, and likes to get into “trouble” (sounds very similar to a certain someone…)

AND BECAUSE OF THAT, I can give this little baby some more depth!!

Okay so since this is just a cat, there’s not much I have to do when comes to adding additions :)

And so rn what I have with hcs is: (first off w/ very basic stuff)

She’s female, she’s a little lady :3

Her name is ‘Hupo’ (琥珀 - hǔpò, “Amber” in Chinese), which her full name would be; Feiyun Hupo. (tysm to @kinun for suggesting/helping w/ the name^^)

She’s very playful and loves to cause mischief, but only really in front of the family or so - in front of strangers or just anyone not super close to her, her behaviour becomes very closed off, and comes off kind of a bit rude.

She’s maybe 3-4 years old?

Has an adorable frilly custom collar, matching the same of the Feiyun family style (very similar to Xingqiu’s aesthetic specifically.)

Okay now for more detailed stuff:

She’s a little princess, and is absolutely spoiled by Xingqiu, Xingqiu adores her (same with Hupo to Xingqiu). And even tho technically Hupo is the family pet, she’s basically Xingqiu’s cat.

Hupo was a street-cat and Xingqiu found her when she was a kitten. Xingqiu’s doll item mentioning about animal shelters and adopting, definitely tells us Xingqiu cares a lot about adopting animals; (to me)

So I definitely think Hupo was either adopted from a shelter or was found on the streets. I’m kind of leaning towards that she found her on the streets, looking a little worse for wear compare to the other cats walking around.

She was just a tiny little kitten all by herself, and Xingqiu found her while she was out-and-about (maybe during one of the times she snuck out, and was trying to hide more from Xu looking for her or something idk)

Okay as for this part, I haven’t fully fleshed out a lot of details as of this current moment, but after Xingqiu found her, she took her to professionals to help her and her condition - Hupo was too scared to go near anyone, except Xingqiu. And then sometime after that, Xingqiu decides to take her home, and even though her family is extremely strict - she was allowed to keep her in their house only because Xingqiu’s mother (Valerie) used to have a cat when she was very young, back when she lived in Fontaine, and thought maybe Hupo would take a strong liking to her, she misses that cat a lot.

That idea very quickly backfired. Hupo doesn’t like Valerie AT ALL-

And that’s pretty much all of the ideas and hcs I have as of rn :3

I have so many ideas when it comes to Chongyun & Xingqiu’s relationship with one another, and majority of the time I can’t put ideas into words/write essays.

But one of the big ones I have is:

Chongyun & Xingqiu’s relationship is nothing but strong & unadulterated love and admiration for each other - they care about & love each other so deeply, and see one another as the best thing that has ever happened to them. And that sometimes because they see each other so highly & fondly, they feel like they don’t deserve somebody as amazing as each other (simultaneously), and both of them have no idea the other sees them on such a high pedestal (in both of their different ways).

They both love each other so much, and will wonder if they’re even worthy to have somebody as perfect and amazing as that by their side - without knowing that the other also feels the same way. There is not a single drop of angst, it’s just nothing but pure love.

“Loving someone as amazing as you, makes me feel like I’m not worthy to be yours. You’re just, so perfect… But I will never let that stop me from loving you any less, it just makes me love you even more, knowing you see something in me, that I don’t.” - 🍨/📘

Now I just want to make it clear that Chongyun & Xingqiu have great communication between each other, and I have many scenarios related to them talking about this “issue” - I just want to make sure the idea doesn’t get twisted that they have bad communication in their relationship^^

Having a specific selection of hc’s for a character you love a lot, is searching every possible key-word you can think of to try to find just a crumb of content of each one of those hc’s for that specific character - in the hopes that you will find at least one post where someone sees the same vision as you do (even if not completely exact)

- she loves fruits :3 she's 100% fuckin up a mango with some tajín.

- cat lady. she has a sweet bengal, and she wants another but her allergies can only handle one. womp :(

- she takes Mario Kart way too seriously. Ben doesn't play with her anymore because he threw a blue shell at her when she was in first place and she was so pressed she actually went off on him. she's still mad about that to this day. (she mains as Dry Bowser btw)

- HAS to wear coats with every outfit or else she'll feel naked.

- she loves jewelry. she has a nose + navel piercing, and she loves bangles and bracelets when she's off duty.

- she has muscles under that biker jacket. trust me. trust my sources.

- Jess has a habit of saying queso cheese and it makes miguel's eye twitch BAD because queso MEANS CHEESE.

- her gloves used to be fingerless once upon a time so she could show off her acrylics, but one of her nails got ripped off during a battle. they was fresh, too.

- she has noiseless footsteps despite them big ass boots. she has a habit of sneaking up on people [miguel] by mistake.

- once said to hobie and margo "that's that white people shit" wit peter b n nem in the background...

- she's not as big on eye contact as miguel is. (i actually noticed this in the movie; she hardly looks anyone in the eyes without their masks on. she's always looking straight forward or to the side, minus the occasional cursory glance)

- she loves kids, and she's excited to be a mama :3

So, I sort of got an Operation Blackout headcanon. Real angsty too to go with the whumptober vibe so be prepared-

I saw a couple days ago a post about how canonically Rookie was doing the laundry when Herbert nabbed him, and I went “damn, that’s anticlimatic” because I imagined things going a lot differently. Picture this scenario:

Rookie is taking a walk around, knowing damn well that he’s one of Herbert’s targets by being the EPF’s Comms lead, if G and Dot’s kidnappings mean anything. He’s been getting bad vibes all day, so he’s been trying to keep his nerves on check by not worrying too much, maybe it’s just the growing coldness getting to him? Or the lack of sunlight despite being day leaving him uneasy? Either way, he continues on, hopeful that Herbert hasn’t caught onto his location yet, even if he’s obviously the least careful around his secret identity of all agents with how much stuffed he has leaked to the media along the years.

He tries to chill out, and that goes fine until Rookie hears a couple of suspicious clicks ahead and spots a couple crabs looking at him, and in any other occasion Rookie would approach and greet them with open arms, however, these crabs aren’t supposed to be here. They should be underwater, burrowing in lumps of sand until the temperature gets warm enough for them to be cozy around the island…

Unless, these crabs are here for him.

He should’ve guessed Herbert’s crab army would be a part of this whole scheme, the agent blinks once and crustaceans are gone, even so, he can feel their little ways watching him from somewhere hidden now. How long have they been following him?! The EPF’s teleportation system’s been broken ever since Gary disappeared (and no one managed to fix it without him) and he couldn’t really run to one of the resistance’s hideouts and risk their existence- So he decides to run to his igloo that is a bit close and lock all the doors as fast as possible.

After doing that, he hears some bangs coming from outside and immediately figures he’s cornered. Rookie shoots an SOS message to other agents but he doubts he’ll be able to escape his fate, especially when Dot, someone known for being able to sneak past the most sticky situations, couldn’t. While Rookie realizes that Herbert is going to take him away from his friends and leak his agent info like he did with the others he captured, he decided to make one final message.

And here’s another headcanon inside another scenario but just hear me out- Rookie is a comntent creator. Even before he joined the PSA he did silly vlog videos and livestreams where he chatted and game’d a bit. Of course, he couldn’t really upload more of his wholesome content while dealing with Herbert’s dictatorship in Operation Blackout, and since the Club Penguin News was taken over too, Rookie, along with many other penguin content creators, became replacement sources of information for all of Club Penguin that wished to know where to find food, shelter, if the resistance is doing any progress and all that, so basically-

The day Rookie was kidnapped, he did one last livestream.

He barricades the door of his recording room and immediately starts the stream. The viewers can see something’s different just by the way the whole thing is setup, Rookie looks nervous, and decides since this is probably the first thing Herbert will leak when he’s captured, he figures it will eb better if he does it himself. So instead of the usual welcomes and smiles, he starts the transmission with “I’m Rookie. Officer of Public Relations and leader of the EPF’s Communication sector, and I have a small announcement for you all…”

The message is actually pretty short, 6-7 minutes at most, and Rookie is overall very serious despite being apparently nervous. He talks about the Blackout, and how everyone that has resisted Herbert has been suffering, and how the EPF is sparing no effort to bring things back to normal, and apologizes since he’s going to be offline for a while. He mentions other channels that could serve as good sources of information while he’s gone and then asks for everyone to maintain hope despite it all, that Club Penguin has faced a lot of disasters together, and that this one won’t be any different.

By this point, the way Rookie was glancing sideways together with the bangs coming from somewhere off-screen, the chat was begging him to escape.

But he didn’t, using his final minutes to do a personal goodbye. He talks about his friends at the EPF, how all of them are incredibly resourceful and fierce, and especially good at their jobs. Rookie asks them to be strong, just as he’ll try to be now. He’s scared but hopeful, and just then, a powerful blow breaks the door down.

The camera is knocked off into the ground and sounds of struggles along with clicks can be heard, the commotion doesn’t take long either, and when EPF’s tactical team finally arrive on the scene, it’s too late.

Rookie’s igloo is empty of it’s owner, and a couple of hours later, Herbert shares the news with glee along with more confidential stuff, as a treat.

And like that, Operation Blackout continues.

So ye, this is the headcanon. There’s more that could be discussed about it like the other agents reaction (jetkie angst yummy) and how Rookie gets an earful by the Director when everything is over. But that’s the main meat of it. I should probably translate this into proper fanfiction format later (idk if there’s a lot of club penguin fanfic readers out there tho), but it would be nest anyways.

Belcher Sibling Fankids Update:

Unfortunately, I still haven't drawn the fankids yet. I wanted to update regardless though. I added a fourth kid for my version of the Zekina family (the right amount of boys/kids is 4, forever am I right?! XD) and I almost completed the info for Louise's adopted kid. So to keep it brief, I'm going to recap the Zekina kids and give the inspiration behind their names while I provide a bit of info about Louise's adopted child. Adult Gene still doesn't have kids and I don't plan to give them any. Tina:

Daniel “Dani” Bob Belcher - 1. Daniel was the name of pilot Tina, so I thought it would be a fitting name for her first kid. 2. I also made it a headcanon that Danielle is Zeke's grandma's name so it could be more special in the lore. I'll have to find another reason if the show kills my headcanon 3. Bob is his middle name after his maternal grandfather for obvious reasons.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Griffin Belcher - 1. Jeffrey is the name of Tina's body pillow. 2. His nickname, Jeff is based on Tina's ex-ghost box boyfriend. 3. His middle name Griffin is based on Tina's favorite Boyz 4 Now band member. 4. The reason for both names is that they both had an indirect influence on leading Zeke and Tina to each other. Jeff for my headcanon "Tina and the Real Ghost" was around when Zeke realized he had a crush on Tina. Meanwhile, Griffin for the time Zeke and Leslie helped Tina and Louise get to the Boyz 4 Now concert.

Lily Cherilyn Belcher - 1. Lily is the name of Bob's late mother who Tina wanted to honor. 2. Lily is also what Louise tricked Linda into thinking they were renaming Tina (it was a horse called "Gelding the Lily" which in general I think the phrase, "gild the lily" fits Tina perfectly). 3. Cherilyn is a mix of Cheryl's and Linda's name that's not too obvious to honor both of them. 4. It's also a reference to the singer, Cher's full first name. However, that only matters because I have a story idea that Zeke tries to recreate the lost Bolognese sauce recipe from Linda's family. The pun name for Zeke's recipe recreation attempt is, "Do You Bolognese in Life After Love".

Brian “Brine” Tad Belcher - 1. Brian is an anagram for brain, stuff zombies eat. 2. Brian also almost sounds like brine which I thought it be cool to make people think of pickles. 3. The nickname "Brine" is also just me subtly roasting Tina for the time she put too much salt in the soup before Bob found out Zeke had a perfect palette. 4. Tad is a reference to the fact that he is the youngest. 5. Tad is also to honor Teddy because I see him and Zeke bonding really well (especially when he helps Zeke get his captain license in my headcanon). Also, Tina loves Teddy too so of course, she approves. 6. Tad is dated slang for "street kid" in the same way urchin is (so it helps me connect it to touch tank in an indirect way) 7. Tad is a variation of Thaddeus which in Dutch, Taco is also a variation of Thaddeus. (don't ask me, language is weird XD. I'm just happy to connect touch tank and tacos in one name). 8. I really wanted to make the initials BTB so it can also reference the abbreviation of the phrase that excites Tina, "bumper-to-bumper". Louise: Robin Susie Belcher-Stieblitz (- Fischoeder) -

Robin is two years older than Lily and the only child of Lousie through adoption. Robin is a variation of Robert which is where the name, Bob comes from. So Louise named the kid after Bob in a subtle way. However, since Robin is also the name of a bird, she sometimes calls Robin her "little chick". Her middle name, Susie which means "lily" is a way to subtly honor Bob's mother without hogging taking attention away from Lily. Susie is also a reference to "Calvin and Hobbes" as a way to foreshadow that Robin is connected to Calvin Fischoeder. Louise finds out from an old letter that Robin is the long lost grandchild (or great-grandchild, I haven't figured out the timeline yet) of Calvin Fischoeder and the woman he was only married to for a week (not sure if I want it to be Shelby Schnabel or an OC I'll have to make later but my lazy butt says Shelby atm) The greedy side of Louise is thrilled with the potential to finally get a taste of the Fischoeder wealth through Robin. However, the good person side of her throws that idea out the window once she realizes that Felix must never know that Robin is related to the late Calvin. She knows how unhinged Felix is and doesn't want to find out whether Felix would love his grand-niece with open arms (or great-grand-niece) or try to murder her on the spot to keep his spot as head of the Fischoeder wealth to himself (Calvin died at some point, not sure exactly when but definitely after Louise became an adult) Robin takes after both Lousie and Calvin in that she is a major troublemaker. Robin is often the ring leader when it comes to the daily chaos the next-generation Belcher family has to deal with.

That's all I got beyond that. I still need to figure out her family tree so I can even have an idea of what I want to do with her skin tone. I probably need to look more into the Fischoeder lore to get an idea about that. I'll love to get some help/suggestions from the Calvin Fishoeder fans on here. if you're reading, please. :3 Anyway, that's about it. Hope I'll actually draw the munchkins one of these days.

My Belcher Siblings Fankid Headcanons

In light of the latest episode of Bob's Burgers. I decided to share my headcanons for my fan children of the Belcher siblings. It's a work in progress, so keep that in mind.

Louise:

I personally don't see her having children of her own. Especially since the only time she said she would have children was to feed them to an albino polar bear. However, I do see as she grows, matures, and takes over her dad's restaurant, I see her becoming a foster parent. She will be inspired by the fact that Bob lost his mother 11 to 13 (his mom passed away 33 years ago and Bob is 44 to 46) and she wants to help troubled kids have a stable home life like she had as long as she's able to. I, unfortunately, don't have any foster children ocs in mind yet. Hopefully, I'll figure it out eventually. I do see Rudy being a foster parent with Louise though whether as platonic friend and roommate or officially married. Gene:

I also don't see them ever having kids either. They rather be the fun aunty uncle (this is the best I got for a gender-neutral term for aunt/uncle, feel free to make suggestions for something better. At the very least Gene might like it because it's funny) or a kid game show host than ever be responsible for their own children. (Also I'm going with the common headcanon that Gene is genderfluid. I don't see them being strict with pronouns but I'm still going by they/them just in case)

Tina:

She would be the only one of the siblings to have biological children. She would be married to Zeke and both would be for having children. Zeke would be all for having a big family, his only caveat would be to not wait too long for siblings because he wouldn't want his kids to go through the same lonely sibling age gap problem he went through (him having a half brother that's 31 years older than him and a stepbrother that 13 years younger than him. The only relative he has that's close to his age would be his cousin Leslie and even then he's at the lowest, 3 years older than him). Tina, however, would originally not want to go too fast in adding siblings because she knows how much of a handful it is from seeing her parents having a child every 2 years 3 times, counting herself.

Life had different plans though and she wouldn't change a thing about it.

Daniel “Dani” Bob Belcher:

He’s this little guy

First born son of Zeke and Tina. He has his dad’s extroversion and optimistic attitude. Meanwhile, He inherited his mom’s creativity and bad vision. As a teenager, he is cursed with being nuts for butts and a goob for boob. Though he’s demiromantic, so while he definitely finds many people attractive, he doesn’t pursue any of them romantically until he realizes he has formed a deep connection of friendship with them. He is extra with his love confessions though and has no shame which can lead to the downfall of many potential romantic relationships because he loves giving his all too fast and too hard. Sometimes his confessions could end friendships he thought he had a deep connection with too because they simply didn’t know what they were getting themselves into. Daniel doesn’t fret about it because he follows the “if you can’t handle me at my worst, you don’t deserve at my best” motto. He will always have his family and his true friends will always stick by him and that’s good enough for him.

He’s terrible at wrestling but that doesn’t stop him from trying to surprise pounce on his dad. He’s better at writing songs and coming up with crazy, fun ideas to try. He doesn’t intentionally try to do stuff that will get him in trouble, but his creativity just makes him a trouble magnet. He’s not the brightest but his heart is always in the right place.

His main colors are yellow and green.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Griffin Belcher (Is he named after Tina’s ex-ghost box boyfriend or her body pillow? I’ll never tell! XD)

Second born son by around a 1 year and a half (though it’s rounded out to 2 anyway since he wasn’t born in the same year as his older brother). He has his mother’s monotone introversion as well as creativity and his dad’s love of chaos. He’s not the most sociable and much rather spend his time alone playing video games, making blueprints, and testing out his blueprints. He loves his family though and is a momma’s boy even if he would rather die than admit it. When he’s not doing his own thing, he’s helping his brother behind the scenes with any crazy idea Daniel comes up with. He doesn’t care if it’s a good idea or a bad idea, he’s just along for the ride and eager to see how it ends. He’s completely ace and aro, so he’s not interested in dating like Daniel when he is a teenager, period.

While he has plenty of ideas to cause chaos at the school, he’s also very lazy so he mostly goes along with Daniel and is never the leader of any scheme by choice.

He’s not a super genius but he is the brightest of his siblings, he just lacks motivation. When he’s old enough, he wears contacts because he hates how he looks in his glasses. He doesn’t like the idea of completely fitting into the stereotypical nerd mold especially since his personality already fits the mold.

Lily Cherylinda Belcher (Yes Tina and Zeke pulled a Renesmee for Lily’s middle name. Just be glad it’s just the middle name XD)

Last born child, firstborn daughter of Tina and Zeke. She’s 4 years younger than Jeff and 6 years younger than Daniel (Tina and Zeke were originally going to stop at 2 but life happened and they decided to see what fate had in store). She has the protective nature of both her parents, Tina’s goody-two-shoes nature, and Zeke’s knack for cooking (not his perfect palette though, that belongs to Jeff much to her disbelief since she knows what he wastes his tastebuds on)  Despite being the youngest, she is the most responsible out of her siblings and most of the time tags along simply to protect her brothers and try to stop things from getting too terrible.

She also tries to use her cuteness to try to help them get a lighter sentence after the metaphorical (sometimes literal) smoke clears. She loves reading about/watching romance but seldom partakes in it herself when she’s of age. She’s too timid and uses schoolwork and helping out her family as an excuse for why she’s too busy for crushes.

She’s unapologetically a daddy’s girl and is eager to help in the kitchen when she can. Since she doesn’t have a perfect palette, she treats recipes like religious texts and doesn’t dare try to add anything outside the recipe. Aside from cooking, she loves gardening as well, especially planting pretty flowers.

Out of all the siblings, she is the best candidate to take over Bob’s Burgers after Louise. However, if Lily decides to take over in the future is still up in the air.

Her main colors are pink and purple. She wears an adorable panda hat that her grandma Linda made for her, similar to Louise’s bunny ears. Anyway, that’s all that I have so far. I definitely left some questions unanswered though. For example, I never said who loved horses and zombies among the siblings. XD

Maybe I’ll elaborate when I actually design them, for now, though this is all I got.

Zeke and Tina dating headcanons

- Zeke takes literally every opportunity to pick Tina up and spin her around. This is his absolute favorite pass time.

- Tina writes long, extremely detailed diary entries about all of their dates.

- Tina makes Gene and Louise come with her to Zeke’s wrestling matches, and Louise is disappointed that it isn’t as violent as she expected.

- Zeke loooves nicknames and calls Tina every corny nickname in the book. Her favorites are ‘sunshine’ and ‘pretty girl”

- They go on date nights to all of Jimmy Jr’s dance performances. Supportive besties!
