Alongside Roxanne and Bucky (ship name Rocky) from the main universe "A Second Chance" takes place (referred to as Sedaverse), there are also two AUs my co-author Julienne and I like to play with: The 1602 AU (Based off the season 2 episode of "What If...?"), and the Avengers Academy AU (basically just a fun high school AU).

Hello, Tumblr! This is @ro994art, and I've decided to create a side blog to share all about the Sedaverse, which is what I have named the universe in which my fanfic "A Second Chance" takes place: an OC insert story with my MCU original character, Roxanne Brooks AKA Seda!
"This is the story of Roxanne Brooks. After seemingly leaving behind a life-altering tragedy, her world will turn upside down once again after a fateful encounter. The powers she acquired in this traumatic accident years ago may actually be a blessing in disguise. But being a hero doesn't come without a price. And when she meets a mysterious man with a tragedy maybe even greater than hers, how will this alter both of their courses? Can a declined call turn into the beginning of a new life?" - 'A Second Chance' synopsis
This is an OCxCanon love story (with my main character getting paired up with Bucky Barnes) taking place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, mostly from phases 1 to 4. If you enjoy stories that have:
Superhero origin stories with coming-of-age elements,
Found family,
Lovers to enemies AND enemies to lovers,
A well-developed, wholesome (slowburn) romance with LOTS of hurt-comfort, yearning, and tension (where the guy falls first 😉),

First artwork of the year is dedicated to Sebastian Stan and his SUPER well-deserved win from yesterday. If you know me, you knew I had to do something in commemoration of my favorite actor finally getting some recognition. 🩵
I know Sebastian doesn't really get into social media anymore (and for good reason honestly), but I sincerely hope someone lets him know how proud us his fans are of him. 🥹
UPDATE JAN 09: Okay, I admittedly rushed this one and wasn't very happy with the eyes and some other minor things after I had posted them, so I made adjustments. I can't modify the file on other sites unfortunately, but I can here, so I did xD

Originally made these illustrations for my OCxCanon fanfic, "A Second Chance", but they also worked really well as standalone CA:TWS fanarts, and I wanted to see how this rack focus effect would look like in motion. So I made this little GIF. ❤️🩹

It's been a while since I last promoted my fanfic around here. While it is an OCxCanon love story, I made a point to properly develop my character and her backstory individually and not just as Bucky's love interest, to make her interesting in her own right and to make their eventual relationship feel earned. And there's also a lot of focus on Bucky's journey of redemption and healing. And if you're like me and feel salty about canon MCU taking away Bucky's happiness and (seemingly) ignoring his redemption, and would actually like to see him get a happy ending after all the pain he goes through, this story is for you.

If you do, please leave a comment with your thoughts. I haven't gotten much feedback yet, and would love to know what other people think. It's not the best story ever written, but I'm super proud of it so far. Hopefully others can get enjoyment out of it, too. 🫶

HAPPY WICKED PREMIERE DAY! Oh my gosh, I cannot wait to finally watch this. This has been my most anticipated movie of the year and I can't believe it's finally here! What we've seen so far already looks amazing and I already know I'll just love it >w< It's gonna be so hard to wait a year for part two, but I'm hyped for that one too haha!
I of course had to draw the best witches to celebrate. The details were so fun to make. <3

SciFlash (human Flashlight) used to be practically all I drew back in 2017 up until maybe early 2020. Most of those artworks haven't aged very well, so I decided to redraw one of my most well-known pieces. I am quite proud of the improvement! I still have a lot of room to keep getting better of course, but it's nice to see how far I've come since I was in high school.

Some new art at last! July was very stressful for me and I wasn't really able to do anything all month, but I finally got to finish these cuties after a few weeks of putting them off.
Originally an entry for a challenge, but I decided to simply focus on the art instead. I haven't really given myself the chance to do that lately, which in turn has caused me to struggle to find motivation to draw. I'm working on finding enjoyment and fun in the process of making art once again, because after all, that's what this page is for. ♡

Her outfit is inspired by this picrew by hellosunnycore. I made Rose in it a few months ago, and I loved how she looked in those clothes so much that it made me want to make it her main outfit, just with a few small changes. 😊

I know the anniversary of the finale was last week, but even so, I didn't want to miss the chance to make something to celebrate. The Owl House became my favorite animated show of all time, and it has probably one of my favorite finales ever. So of course I wanted to commemorate it. 💜
I've been struggling with motivation to art lately, hence why I've been slow on the posts. I think there's a number of factors playing into that that I won't bore you guys with. But I'm working through it, and I'm hoping to be able to post at a relatively steadier pace relatively soon.
The bright side is Dana Terrace once again has brought inspiration to me with her beautiful Titan Luz designs she posted recently, so hopefully I can tackle those in the near future, cause I'm currently obsessed hehe 🤭
Not My Hoodie Anymore (💜SciFlash💙)

For those who don't know, a few years back, I made a lot (and I mean a LOT) of content for this ship. Like, I was almost exclusively an EqG and SciFlash fanartist for a few years. 😅
And even though I still love this ship and are widely recognized for my art of them, I barely make content of them nowadays due to both running out of ideas to make of these two and also moving on to other fandoms and content.
But fortunately there are still fans of these two out there who occassionally put their trust in me to bring their SciFlash ideas to life, such as my lovely client Alkabiadiz with this comic! It still feels nice to get to draw my nerds from time to time. ♡

Hi again! I apologize for not having posted in all of January. I've been feeling iffy all month on top of being super busy with several things, but I still wanted to post something before the month ended. This was one of my favorite pieces made for last month. Mushu was a bit of a challenge to draw, but I think the end result doesn't look that bad! I feel like Cri-Kee doesn't look that much like himself, but at least he looks cute xD

For Zutara Week 2023 (Prompts: "Union" and "Flow")
I had originally sketched/planned this for my 4 Ship Challenge, but ultimately swapped these two for, funnily enough, another Water/Fire ship, Wade and Ember xD But I decided to save it for a special occassion, and what occassion more special than the 15th Zutara Week! (Not to mention the trailer for the live-action remake made me had these two in mind again, so, great timing all around x3)
This is my second ever contribution to a Zutara Week, but hopefully it won't be the last, because I really love these two.
I'm really proud of how this turned out, especially the water ^_^

🎂 October 17th Birthday Girls 🎂
It's my birthday, so I drew myself with my two main OCs, who also share my birthday! (Just different years haha)
Yes, all three of us are nicknamed Ro. And they do have aspects of my personality to them. But other than that, the three of us are super different!
To those of you who don't know them, the girl on the left (red hair, piece sign) is my Equestria Girls OC, Rose Gold. She has a magical talent to see who people's soulmates are, and is a self-proclaimed matchmaker, though her confidence in her abilities may surpass her actual success range. She may or may not come off as kind of crazy sometimes, but she means well and has a heart of gold! (No pun intended)
And the older girl on the right (brown hair, in the Bucky hoodie) is my MCU OC, Roxanne Brooks, AKA Seda. As you may have guessed by her hand gesture, she has spider powers! She started off as my Spidersona but ended up becoming SO much more than that, and she has her whole story and AU that I'm currently working on publishing! (The story is fully planned out, though) She's very shy and insecure, which sometimes makes her superheroing difficult. But she's one of the kindest-hearted people you'll ever meet (as long as you don't get on her bad side or messed with her loved ones). She has had a rough life, but when she meets someone who's had it even worse, finding common ground with said person may lead to something more blooming between them (COUGH her hoodie gives you the answer, COUGH).
EDIT: I forgot to mention that her hoodie design is based off one made by an Instagram account StyledByMarvel. I'm totally in love with that hoodie and I'm not sure if they still have it in stock, but if they do, I so wanna get myself one someday TuT

I don't have a lot of Rose Gold's lore posted as of yet, but my next post is going to be a little introduction to both her and a secret relative that she may or may not get all that well along with. 👀
